Manna for Your Morning

For the eyes of Yahweh move to and fro throughout the earth that He may strongly support those whose heart is wholly devoted to Him. You have acted foolishly in this. Indeed, from now on you will surely have wars.”  — 2 Chronicles 16:9 (LSB) Set your heart and your mind to seek Yahweh, the LORD our God, and to submit to His ways. Serve Him with a whole heart and a willing mind; for the LORD searches all hearts, and understands every intent of the thoughts. If you seek Him, He will let you find Him… (See 1 Chronicles 28:9 NASB1995) “For God sees not as man sees, for man looks at the outward appearance, but Yahweh looks at the heart.” (See 1 Samuel 16:7 LSB) Keep your trust and confidence in Him above all else. 

“I know your works, that you are neither cold nor hot. I could wish you were cold or hot. So then, because you are lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will vomit you out of My mouth.” — Revelation 3:15-16 (NKJV) We can fool some of the people some of the time, but we can never pull a fast one on God. He knows everything we do. For the LORD searches every heart and understands every desire and every thought. (1 Chronicles 28:9b NIV). Serve him with wholehearted devotion and with a willing mind (1 Chronicles 28:9a). Lukewarmness comes when our desires are split. We want to walk in God's way and enjoy the benefits of living in His kingdom, but half of the time we take a detour and allow ourselves to get caught up in the world and it's ways. No one can serve two masters; (Matthew 6:24). Don’t leave a bad taste in the mouth of God. Let ALL you do and say give glory to His kingdom.
