Have Bold Belief!

Some men arrived carrying a paraplegic on a stretcher. They were looking for a way to get into the house and set him before Jesus. When they couldn’t find a way in because of the crowd, they went up on the roof, removed some tiles, and let him down in the middle of everyone, right in front of Jesus. Impressed by their bold belief, he said, “Friend, I forgive your sins.”  — Luke 5:18-20 (MSG) Bold belief is compassionate enough to carry those who cannot walk on their own. Bold belief makes a way to set others in front of Jesus. Bold belief doesn't turn back when met with difficulties, but presses in, and overcomes obstacles. As a result, lives are changed for all of eternity. Bold belief is love in action. May we exercise bold belief in our daily affairs. …the righteous are bold as a lion. (Proverbs 28:1 NKJV)

Be Sure

You can be sure that God will take care of everything you need, his generosity exceeding even yours in the glory that pours from Jesus. Our God and Father abounds in glory that just pours out into eternity. Yes. — Philippians 4:19-20 (MSG) Our Father knows the things you have need of before you even ask Him. (Matthew 6:8) You can be sure that God will take care of everything you need. He is a faithful, generous and loving God. And nothing can separate us from His love. Do you think anyone is going to be able to drive a wedge between us and Christ’s love for us? There is no way! Not trouble, not hard times, not hatred, not hunger, not homelessness, not bullying threats, not backstabbing, not even the worst sins… (Romans 8:38-39 MSG)

The High & Holy Place

For thus says the High and Lofty One Who inhabits eternity, whose name is Holy: “I dwell in the high and holy place, with him who has a contrite and humble spirit, to revive the spirit of the humble, and to revive the heart of the contrite ones.” — Isaiah 57:15 (NKJV) Psalm 10:17 (NASB) says the LORD hears the desire of the humble, He strengthens their heart, and inclines His ear to hear their voice. Isaiah 29:19 (NKJV) tells us, “The humble also shall increase their joy in the LORD…” James 4:6 (NKJV) says, “God resists the proud, but gives grace to the humble.” Therefore humble yourselves under the mighty hand of God, that He may exalt you in due time, (1 Peter 5:6 NKJV). Let us abide in His Presence, in the high and holy place. For we are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, (1 Peter 2:9)

Know Him

Many will say to Me in that day, ‘Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name, cast out demons in Your name, and done many wonders in Your name?’ And then I will declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness!’ — Matthew 7:22-23 (NKJV) No one wants to hear Jesus speak these words: “I never knew you; depart from Me” But we must realize that a religion is not going to save us. Being a member of God’s family and living forever in His Presence is all about having a relationship with Jesus the Christ. For through Him we both have our access in one Spirit to the Father (Ephesians 2:18 NASB). Philippians 3:10 (AMP) says, “ And this, so that I may know Him [experientially, becoming more thoroughly acquainted with Him, understanding the remarkable wonders of His Person more completely] and [in that same way experience] the power of His resurrection [which overflows and is active in believers] …” Our greatest pursuit in life is to know Him and be kno...

Better than Life

Your unfailing love is better than life itself; how I praise you! I will praise you as long as I live, lifting up my hands to you in prayer. You satisfy me more than the richest feast. I will praise you with songs of joy. — Psalm 63:3-5 (NLT) The LORD redeems your life from destruction, and crowns you with lovingkindness and tender mercies (Psalm 103:4). Cherish His love as more valuable than the air you breathe. When we draw our last breath on this earth, it’s His face we will see for all eternity. Praise Him as long as you live. Seek Him early in the morning and throughout the day. The psalmist says, “O God, You are my God; Early will I seek You;” (Psalm 63:1a NKJV). Call upon Him in the night, as  Psalm 63:6 (NKJV) says: “When I remember You on my bed, I meditate on You in the night watches.” Declare His lovingkindness in the morning, and His faithfulness every night! (Psalm 92:2 NKJV)

Keep the Celebration Going!

And I’m going to keep that celebration going because I know how it’s going to turn out. Through your faithful prayers and the generous response of the Spirit of Jesus Christ, everything he wants to do in and through me will be done. I can hardly wait to continue on my course. Beautiful!

He has made everything beautiful and appropriate in its time. He has also planted eternity [a sense of divine purpose] in the human heart [a mysterious longing which nothing under the sun can satisfy, except God]—yet man cannot find out (comprehend, grasp) what God has done (His overall plan) from the beginning to the end. — Ecclesiastes 3:11 (AMP) If you have ever been in between a rock and a hard place, you know how beautiful it is when God works everything out, at just the right time. While we may not know the whole plan of God, we can rejoice and be glad in this day that He has given us and trust Him to reveal to us exactly what we need to know and do, at His appointed time. Things may not come together on our timetable, but God is always right on time!

Victory is Ours!

But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ. — 1 Corinthians 15:57 (NKJV) Dear brothers and sisters, when troubles of any kind come your way, consider it an opportunity for great joy. (James 1:2, NLT) We can rejoice knowing that the testing of our faith [through experience] produces endurance [leading to spiritual maturity, and inner peace]. (James 1:3, AMP). We can also rejoice in the fact that God has given us the ultimate victory that will last for all eternity. We are more than conquerors in Christ. Hallelujah!

Patiently Endure

And so, after he had patiently endured, he obtained the promise. — Hebrews 6:15 (NKJV) After God promised Abraham a son, he had to wait for many years, before he looked upon the face of his son, Isaac. In today’s microwave society, waiting patiently goes against our fleshly nature. However, the work God is doing in us, while we “wait” is so much greater and more important than our external circumstances. The work God is doing in us will impact eternity. The beautiful work He is doing inside of us, makes us increasingly more like Him. That has eternal consequences, that far outweigh the here and now. Instead of focusing on the process, on the way to the promises, stay focused on the Presence of the Promise Keeper. In His Presence is fullness of joy and peace forevermore.

The Greatest Promise

And this is the promise that He has promised us—eternal life. — 1 John 2:25 (NKJV) God planted eternity in the human heart (Ecclesiastes 3:11 NLT). And of all the promises God gave us in His Word, the promise of eternal life is the ultimate one. This is eternal life, that we may know Him, the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom He sent (John 17:3). Our heavenly Father created us to know Him and be in constant fellowship with Him and His Son Jesus Christ. May we always seek to grow more intimate in our relationship with the Lord and become more like Him as we gain greater  understanding of His ways and His nature.

Be Led by His Light & Truth!

Oh, send out Your light and Your truth! Let them lead me; Let them bring me to Your holy hill and to Your tabernacle.  — Psalm 43:3 (NKJV)  Be led by the light of the LORD and the truth. They will guide you along the path of peace, joy and righteousness, to the secret place, where the fullness of His Presence dwells (within you). The truth will set you free and His light will lead you to experience an abundant life here on earth and into eternity.

Exceedingly Glad!

For You have made him most blessed forever; You have made him exceedingly glad with Your presence.  — Psalm 21:6 (NKJV) The privilege of just being in the LORD's Presence is a source of extreme joy. Psalm 16:11 says, in His presence is fullness of joy. We can have this joy and hold onto it all the days of our lives, because the LORD is always with us. Complete joy can fill our hearts because of our salvation. God chose us to fellowship with Him forever! We get to spend eternity in the Presence of our heavenly Father. That is indeed, something to rejoice about. It was the joy that was set before Him, that allowed Jesus to endure the cross (Hebrews 12:2). Like everything else that comes from the Father, joy is a gift. He has given it unto us. We must open our hearts and minds to receive the gift of gladness and let it infiltrate our very beings.

The Ultimate Question

So Pilate again asked them, “Then what should I do with the king of the Jews?” — Mark 15:12 (GW) The question each of us must ask ourselves everyday is, “What am I going to do with Jesus?” The soldiers, chief priests and scribes made fun of Him. Pilate handed Him over to be crucified. Others rejected Jesus, while others bowed down and worshiped Him. The disciples accepted Jesus as the Son of God, their Lord and their Savior and affected the whole world with their faithfulness. What are you going to do with Jesus? The answer to this question marks your final destination for all of eternity as heaven or hell. When you choose to follow Jesus Christ, you choose life!
