Patient Endurance

Image
“Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a huge crowd of witnesses to the life of faith, let us strip off every weight that slows us down, especially the sin that so easily trips us up. And let us run with endurance the race God has set before us. We do this by keeping our eyes on Jesus, the champion who initiates and perfects our faith. Because of the joy awaiting him, he endured the cross, disregarding its shame. Now he is seated in the place of honor beside God’s throne.” — Hebrews 12:1-2 (NLT) “Let us hold tightly without wavering to the hope we affirm, for God can be trusted to keep his promise.” (Hebrews 10:23 NLT) Patient endurance is what you need now, so that you will continue to do God’s will. Then you will receive all that he has promised. (Hebrews 10:36 NLT)

Hope in Him

Image
“The LORD is my portion and my inheritance,” says my soul; “Therefore I have hope in Him and wait expectantly for Him.” The LORD is good to those who wait [confidently] for Him, to those who seek Him [on the authority of God’s word]. It is good that one waits quietly for the salvation of the LORD. — Lamentations 3:24-26 (AMP) Yahweh is our eternal inheritance. He is all we need. Keep your hope in Him. Yahweh is always good to all who trust in him, to the soul who searches for him. (Lamentations 3:25 TPT) For the eyes of the LORD run to and fro throughout the whole earth, to show Himself strong on behalf of those whose heart is loyal to Him. (See 2 Chronicles 16:9 NKJV) Wait quietly, no whining, grumbling, nor complaining. Wait expectantly for the LORD to show Himself strong on your behalf.  I would have despaired unless I had believed that I would see the goodness of Yahweh in the land of the living. Hope in Yahweh; Be strong and let your heart take courage; Hope in Yahweh. (...

Jump for Joy

Image
Through our faith, the mighty power of God constantly guards us until our full salvation is ready to be revealed in the last time. May the thought of this cause you to jump for joy, even though lately you’ve had to put up with the grief of many trials. — 1 Peter 1:5-6 (TPT) We can jump for joy because our present troubles are small and won’t last very long. Yet they produce for us a glory that vastly outweighs them and will last forever! So we don’t look at the troubles we can see now; rather, we fix our gaze on things that cannot be seen. For the things we see now will soon be gone, but the things we cannot see will last forever. (See 2 Corinthians 4:17-18 NLT) We can be filled with peace and joy knowing that the Lord is faithful; he will strengthen you and guard you from the evil one. (See 2 Thessalonians 3:3 NLT)

Lack No Good Thing

Image
Even strong young lions sometimes go hungry, but those who trust in the LORD will lack no good thing. — Psalm 34:10 (NLT) Taste and see that the LORD is good. Oh, the joys of those who take refuge in him! Fear the LORD, you his godly people, for those who fear him will have all they need. (Psalm 34:8-9) For the LORD God is our sun and our shield. He gives us grace and glory. The LORD will withhold no good thing from those who do what is right. (Psalm 84:11 NLT) If Yahweh is withholding something, chances are it is not a “ good ” thing for you right now. So continue to seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you. (See Matthew 6:33 NKJV) So do not consume yourselves with questions: What will we eat? What will we drink? What will we wear? Outsiders make themselves frantic over such questions; they don’t realize that your heavenly Father knows exactly what you need.  — Matthew 6:31-32 (NKJV)

Fully Committed

Image
“ The eyes of the LORD search the whole earth in order to strengthen those whose hearts are fully committed to him… ” — 2 Chronicles 16:9a (NLT) If you are on the earth and you are fully committed to the LORD, know that He will strengthen you. He strongly supports those who follow Him. (See 2 Chronicles 16:9 VOICE) When we are fully committed to Adonai, as the Owner of our lives, we surrender ALL to Him. Instead of trying to force our own agenda, we strive to do His will, and follow His ways. And so, dear brothers and sisters, I plead with you to give your bodies to God because of all he has done for you. Let them be a living and holy sacrifice—the kind he will find acceptable. This is truly the way to worship him. (Romans 12:1 NLT) In Luke 12:34 (NLT), Jesus said: “ Wherever your treasure is, there the desires of your heart will also be. ” Treasure the LORD and His Word and the desire of your heart will be for more of Him. Lay your heart on His altar today, and be deeply committed to ...

Only to Jesus

Image
looking only at Jesus, the originator and perfecter of the faith, who for the joy set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God. — Hebrews 12:2 (NASB) Look only to JESUS, not to a human being or the government. They continually change but Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today, and forever. (Hebrews 13:8) You can rely on Him. Fix your eyes on Jesus, our risen Savior. “The LORD your God is in your midst, a Warrior who saves.” (See Zephaniah 3:17 AMP). He saves His people from the penalty of their sins. (See Matthew 1:20-23 MSG) Look only to Jesus, our Righteousness, and our Redeemer. Let us look away from all that will distract us, and keep our eyes on Jesus, the Champion who initiates and perfects our faith. (See Hebrews 12:2 NLT) Hope in Him, our Healer, and the One who makes us whole.
