Manna for Your Morning

Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done. Then you will experience God’s peace, which exceeds anything we can understand. His peace will guard your hearts and minds as you live in Christ Jesus. — Philippians 4:6-7 (NLT) Cast your burden upon Yahweh and He will sustain you; He will never allow the righteous to be shaken. (Psalms 55:22 LSB) What we give our attention to magnifies. Let us spend more time praising our great GOD than we do talking about what the enemy is doing. Proverbs 19:21 (NLT) says: You can make many plans, but the LORD’s purpose will prevail. No matter what the enemy is planning the battle still belongs to Yahweh and Yeshua has already won the victory. O magnify Yahweh with me, and let us exalt His name together. (Psalms 34:3 LSB) He will keep in perfect peace all who trust in Him, all whose thoughts are fixed on Him! (See Isaiah 26:3 NLT)

Little children (believers, dear ones), guard yourselves from idols—[false teachings, moral compromises, and anything that would take God’s place in your heart]. — 1 John 5:21 (AMP) Do not love the world or the things in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him. For all that is in the world—the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life—is not of the Father but is of the world. (1 John 2:15-16 NKJV) You therefore, beloved, knowing this beforehand, be on your guard so that you are not carried away by the error of unprincipled men and fall from your own steadfastness… (2 Peter 3:17 NASB199 5) Instead, keep growing in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Yeshua the Messiah. To Him be the glory both now and to the day of eternity! Amen. (2 Peter 3:18 TLV) Be on guard; stand firm in your faith [in God, respecting His precepts and keeping your doctrine sound]. Act like [mature] men and be courageous; be strong. — 1 Corinthians ...

So above all, guard the affections of your heart, for they affect all that you are. Pay attention to the welfare of your innermost being, for from there flows the wellspring of life. — Proverbs 4:23 (TPT) Never consort with the enemy of our souls. The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; (See John 10:10a) In the garden of Eden, Eve engaged in conversation with the serpent, listened to his lies, and began to question the word of God and His intentions. (See Genesis 3:1-6) Don't let your heart be deceived. First Kings 11:1-4 tells us how King Solomon loved and married many foreign women and eventually his wives turned his heart after other gods. Let us set the affections of our hearts on Yahweh and guide our hearts in His ways. When all has been heard, the end of the matter is: fear God [worship Him with awe-filled reverence, knowing that He is almighty God] and keep His commandments, for this applies to every person. — Ecclesiastes 12:13 (AMP)

Guard your heart above all else, for it determines the course of your life. — Proverbs 4:23 (NLT) Keep your heart from being polluted with evil intentions or selfish desires. Second Chronicles 12:14 (NKJV) says, King Rehoboam did evil, because he did not prepare his heart to seek the LORD. May we prepare our hearts to seek Yahweh and His will. Let us draw near to God with a sincere heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled clean from an evil conscience... (See Hebrews 10:22) Proverbs 3:3 (NASB1995) says: Do not let kindness and truth leave you; Bind them around your neck, write them on the tablet of your heart. Colossians 3:15 instructs us to let the peace of God rule in our hearts. Above all else, set the affections of your heart on King Yeshua, and follow Him all the days of your life.  You too, be patient; strengthen your hearts [keep them energized and firmly committed to God], because the coming of the Lord is near. — James 5:8 (AMP)

“so that all the peoples of the earth may know that the LORD is God; there is no one else. Let your heart therefore be wholly devoted to the LORD our God, to walk in His statutes and to keep His commandments, as at this day.” — 1 Kings 8:60-61 (NASB1995) Jesus answered and said to them, “See to it that no one misleads you. For many will come in My name, saying, ‘I am the Christ,’ and will mislead many. Many false prophets will arise and will mislead many. (Matthew 24:4-5, 11 NASB1995) Do not be deceived. Look away from all the distractions and keep your eyes on Jesus, the champion who initiates and perfects our faith. (See Hebrews 12:2) Let us incline our hearts to Yahweh and be wholly devoted to Him. Proverbs 4:23 (NLT) says to guard your heart above all else, for it determines the course of your life. “What I say to you I say to everyone, ‘Be on the alert [stay awake and be continually cautious]!’” (Mark 13:37 AMP) For you do not know the day, nor the hour of our Lord's return.

If we infiltrate our minds with constant negative news our hearts will be full of anger, hatred and fear. Let us renew our minds according to the Word of God. Meditate on it day and night so you will be sure to obey everything written in it. Only then will you prosper and succeed in all you do. (See Romans 12:2 and Joshua 1:8) See to it that no one comes short of the grace of God; that no root of bitterness springing up causes trouble, and by it many be defiled; (Hebrews 12:15 NASB) Get rid of all bitterness, rage, anger, harsh words, and slander, as well as all types of evil behavior. (Ephesians 4:31 NLT) Never take your own revenge, beloved, but leave room for the wrath of God, for it is written, “Vengeance is Mine, I will repay,” says the Lord. — Romans 12:19 (NASB)

Keep vigilant watch over your heart; that’s where life starts. Don’t talk out of both sides of your mouth; avoid careless banter, white lies, and gossip. Keep your eyes straight ahead; ignore all sideshow distractions. Watch your step, and the road will stretch out smooth before you. Look neither right nor left; leave evil in the dust. — Proverbs 4:23-27 (MSG) Watch over your heart. Be careful what you allow to enter your heart. If you let junk in, your life will be messy and cluttered with useless things. When you open the door of your heart to Jesus, the Living Word of God, you will experience freedom and a more abundant life. And those around you will be blessed as well. From the ends of the earth, I cry to you for help  when my heart is overwhelmed. Lead me to the towering rock of safety, for you are my safe refuge, a fortress where my enemies cannot reach me. Let me live forever in your sanctuary, safe beneath the shelter of your wings! Interlude — Psalm 61:2-4 (NLT) …our true help and protection come only from the Lord, our Creator who made the heavens and the earth. He will guard and guide me, never letting me stumble or fall. God is my keeper; he will never forget nor ignore me. (Psalm 121:2-4 TPT) Wherever we are, we can call on the LORD. His ear is always open to hear our cry. Those who are righteous do not fear bad news; they confidently trust the LORD to care for them. They are confident and fearless and can face their foes triumphantly. (Psalm 112:7-8) “ Don’t be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be discouraged, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you. I will hold you up with my victorious right hand .” — Isaiah 41:10 ...

After they had severely flogged them, they threw them in jail, ordering the jailer to guard them carefully. Receiving such an order, he put them into the inner prison and secured their feet in the stocks. — Acts 16:23-24 (CSB) About midnight Paul and Silas were praying and singing hymns to God, and the prisoners were listening to them. (Acts 16:25 CSB) Even after being severely beaten and thrown in jail, Paul and Silas were praying and praising God. They were not whining and complaining about how “ hard ” it was to serve God. They were not having a pity party or playing the victim role. What an example for us. Don’t let the troubles and hardships get you down. Suddenly there was such a violent earthquake that the foundations of the jail were shaken, and immediately all the doors were opened, and everyone’s chains came loose. (Acts 16:26 CSB) Keep praying and praising God and He will loosen chais and open the doors that need to be opened for you.  Amen. The Father sent Jesus...

Guard your heart above all else, for it determines the course of your life. — Proverbs 4:23 (NLT) Keep watch over the door of your heart and do not let anything in that is not of God. Let us hide the Word of God in our hearts, that we may not sin against Him. (Psalm 119:11). When His Word fills our heart we will love the Lord our God with all our heart, all our soul, and all our mind. And we will love our neighbors as we love ourselves. (Matthew 22:37-39) When His Word fills our heart, grace and mercy will flow out of it. We will walk in humility and be kind to one another. As we open our heart to God, His love and compassion will fill it and that is what will come out of it, as we deal with the issues of life. When we allow God to sit on the throne of our heart, He directs our steps, and shows us the path of life. Keep vigilant watch over your heart. Everything is a matter of the heart.

Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. — Philippians 4:6-7 (NKJV) It’s when we try to figure everything out on our own that we end up anxious, worried, and frustrated, or even fearful. When we take everything to God in prayer, and continually thank Him for all He has done and for the gracious God that He is, we experience the peace of God. [that peace which reassures the heart, that peace] which transcends all understanding, [that peace which] stands guard over your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus [is yours]. (Philippians 4:7 AMP) When we have the peace of God guarding our hearts and minds, we can stand strong, and not be moved by adverse circumstances.

“Behold, I am with you and will keep [careful watch over you and guard] you wherever you may go, and I will bring you back to this [promised] land; for I will not leave you until I have done what I have promised you.” — Genesis 28:15 (AMP) No need to worry because God is watching over you. The LORD is with you and He keeps careful watch over you. He is faithful to fulfill all His promises, because He watches over His Word to perform it. Instead of putting your mental energy into worrying about problems, set your mind on our mighty God, and His faithfulness. Then you will trust Him to handle your concerns and you can enjoy the pleasure and privilege of His Presence. Delight yourself also in the LORD, and He shall give you the desires of your heart. (Psalm 37:4 NKJV)

The angel of the LORD encamps around those who fear Him, and rescues them. — Psalm 34:7 (NASB) I prayed to the LORD, and he answered me. He freed me from all my fears. Those who look to him for help will be radiant with joy; no shadow of shame will darken their faces. In my desperation I prayed, and the LORD listened; he saved me from all my troubles. For the angel of the LORD is a guard; he surrounds and defends all who fear him. (Psalm 34:4-7 NLT) Look to the LORD for help. For He will give His angels charge concerning you, to guard you in all your ways. (Psalm 91:11 NASB)

The LORD is your keeper; the LORD is your shade at your right hand. The sun shall not strike you by day, nor the moon by night. — Psalm 121:5-6 (NKJV) The One who keeps you will not slumber or sleep. He watches over you and stands beside you, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Even the darkness does not hide you from Him. (Psalm 139:12) The LORD will protect you from all evil; He will keep your soul. The LORD will guard your going out and your coming in from this time forth and forever. (Psalm 121:7-8 NASB) Look up to the mountains— does your help come from there? Your help comes from the LORD, who made heaven and earth! (Psalm 121:1-2) Look to the LORD, your Keeper. He is our help and our only hope. Amen.

My heart is overflowing with a good theme; I recite my composition concerning the King; My tongue is the pen of a ready writer. — Psalm 45:1 (NKJV) What is your heart overflowing with today? Is your heart troubled, full of fear and anxiety? Or does it overflow with a good theme? May our hearts be full of God’s unconditional love, His mercy and grace, His kindness and compassion.  Let us guard our hearts and only let in what is good. Jesus says, in John 14:1 (NLT), “Don’t let your hearts be troubled. Trust in God, and trust also in me.” When we trust in the Lord, our hearts are strengthened and we can have peace. When our hearts overflow with the truth, God’s Word, our hope is alive and we thrive. Let your heart overflow with a good theme. Watch over your heart with all diligence, for from it flow the springs of life. (Proverbs 4:23 NASB)

For the angel of the LORD is a guard; he surrounds and defends all who fear him. — Psalm 34:6-7 (NLT) Let us persevere through problems with our praises and our prayers. The ear of the LORD is always open to the cry of His people. Call upon Him as your first course of action, not your last resort. “Give your entire attention to what God is doing right now, and don’t get worked up about what may or may not happen tomorrow. God will help you deal with whatever hard things come up when the time comes. (Matthew 6:34 MSG)

“See, I am sending an angel before you to protect you on your journey and lead you safely to the place I have prepared for you.” — Exodus 23:20 (NLT) When we walk on the path the LORD has for us, He will lead us safely to the places He has called us to be. As we walk under the umbrella of His protection, we can remain in peace, knowing that He will guide us through every storm. If you say, “The LORD is my refuge,” and you make the Most High your dwelling, no harm will overtake you, no disaster will come near your tent. For he will command his angels concerning you to guard you in all your ways; (Psalm 91:9-11 NIV). The angel of the LORD encamps all around those who fear Him and delivers them (Psalm 34:7 NKJV). If we let negative and critical things flow into our hearts, that is what will flow out, through our words and our actions. If we only open our hearts to the love of God and all that pertains to a godly life, that is where the course of our lives will carry us. May we be diligent to constantly guard our hearts, and only allow those things that align with the love, peace and joy of our heavenly Father to penetrate.

You will guard him and keep him in perfect and constant peace whose mind [both its inclination and its character] is stayed on You, because he commits himself to You, leans on You, and hopes confidently in You. — Isaiah 26:3 (AMP) We can have perfect and constant peace as we center our thoughts on the LORD (not our problems). Think about His faithfulness, His goodness and His mighty power. Stay mindful of our awesome God, and all the wonderful works He has done in our midst. May we be fully committed to the LORD and be completely confident that He is able to take care of everything that concerns us.

Let's fill our minds with thoughts of Him. Our God is mighty and strong and over all the universe. Our God, Jehovah Jireh, foresees all our needs and makes provision for us. He heals and restores us, spirit, soul and body. He delivers and saves and gives us the victory! Our God, Jehovah Shalom, is our peace. Keep your mind stayed on Him. And remember, no matter what you are going through today, this too shall pass.
