She sits at the doorway of her house, on a seat by the high places of the city, also calling to those who pass by, who are making their paths straight. Discern the voices and choose very carefully which voice you give ear to. Today, hear the voice, of the Good Shepherd. And as Mary, the mother of Jesus, instructed the servants at the wedding in John 2:5 (NASB) “ Whatever He says to you, do it .”

Dear friend, take my advice; it will add years to your life. I’m writing out clear directions to Wisdom Way, I’m drawing a map to Righteous Road. I don’t want you ending up in blind alleys, or wasting time making wrong turns. Hold tight to good advice; don’t relax your grip. Guard it well—your life is at stake! Don’t take Wicked Bypass; don’t so much as set foot on that road. Stay clear of it; give it a wide berth. Buy truth, and do not sell it, get wisdom and instruction and understanding. — Proverbs 23:23 (NASB) Lady Wisdom goes out in the street and shouts. At the town center she makes her speech. In the middle of the traffic she takes her stand. At the busiest corner she calls out: (Proverbs 1:20-21 MSG) Listen and be wise. Direct your heart in the way of the LORD. If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all generously and without reproach, and it will be given to him. So now you can pick out what’s true and fair, find all the good trails! Lady Wisdom will be your close friend, and Brother Knowledge your pleasant companion. Good Sense will scout ahead for danger, Insight will keep an eye out for you. They’ll keep you from making wrong turns, or following the bad directions of those who are lost themselves and can’t tell a trail from a tumbleweed, these losers who make a game of evil and throw parties to celebrate perversity, traveling paths that go nowhere, wandering in a maze of detours and dead ends. — Proverbs 2:9-15 (MSG) The LORD has set before you life and death, blessings and curses. Now choose life, so that you and your children may live (Deuteronomy 30:19 NIV) Avoid the detours and dead ends of the enemy. They only lead to death. Our heavenly Father will show you the path of everlasting life. Why be a wanderer when you can be a worshiper?
