Manna for Your Morning

The LORD gave me another message. He said, “Go and shout this message to Jerusalem. This is what the LORD says: “I remember how eager you were to please me as a young bride long ago, how you loved me and followed me even through the barren wilderness.” — Jeremiah 2:1-2 (NLT) No matter how old or young we may be, let us always be eager to please Yahweh, the Everlasting GOD. Be eager to do what is right. The LORD will withhold no good thing from those who do what is right. (See Psalms 84:11 NLT) Love the LORD your God with all your heart, all your soul, all your mind, and all your strength.’ (See Mark 12:30 NLT) And continue to follow Him, even in the wilderness, in the deep waters and in the desert. He makes a way in the sea and a path through the mighty waters. He is able to make a road in the wilderness and rivers in the desert. (See Isaiah 43:16 & 19 NKJV) Our mighty GOD can turn the barren wilderness into a fruitful field.

“The heavens are shocked at such a thing and shrink back in horror and dismay,” says the LORD. “For my people have done two evil things: They have abandoned me— the fountain of living water. And they have dug for themselves cracked cisterns that can hold no water at all!” — Jeremiah 2:12-13 (NLT) In Jeremiah 2:11 (NLT) Yahweh says: “… my people have exchanged their glorious God for worthless idols!” In Jeremiah 2:32, He says, “for years on end my people have forgotten me.” “But the LORD is the only true God. He is the living God and the everlasting King! The whole earth trembles at his anger. The nations cannot stand up to his wrath. Say this to those who worship other gods: “Your so-called gods, who did not make the heavens and earth, will vanish from the earth and from under the heavens.” But the LORD made the earth by his power, and he preserves it by his wisdom. “ Your own wickedness punishes you. Your own unfaithfulness rebukes you. Look deep into your heart and you will learn how evil and bitter it is to forsake me, YAHWEH your God, and have no awe of me. I, YAHWEH, Commander of Angel Armies, have spoken. ” — Jeremiah 2:19 (TPT) May we learn from our wrong choices and bad decisions. Hold onto the faith, and never reject YAHWEH. To be indifferent to Him is like being lukewarm. In Revelation 3:16 Yeshua says: “…because you are lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will vomit you out of My mouth.”  Life and death are set before us, the blessing and the curse. So choose life in order that you may live, you and your descendants… (See Deuteronomy 30:19). To choose YAHWEH is to choose life. All who desire real life, choose YAHWEH, and His Son. No one comes to the Father except through Yeshua. (See John 14:16 TLV) He came that we may have and enjoy life, and have it in abundance [to the full, till it overflows]. (See John 10:10 AMP)

Then the LORD said to me, “You have seen well, for I am watching over My word to perform it.” — Jeremiah 1:12 (NASB1995) The LORD actively watches over His word to fulfill it. Yahweh is faithful to fulfill every promise He has spoken. Believe His Word, in your heart and let it continually renew your mind. May we speak it out loud, and continue to stand on it, in the face of contrary circumstances. In Isaiah 55:11, He says, the word which goes forth from His mouth will not return to Him empty, without accomplishing what He desires, and without succeeding in the matter for which He sent it. Amen. In times of spiritual warfare the Word of God (the Sword of the Spirit) is the only offensive weapon in our arsenal. When Jesus was in the wilderness being tempted by the devil, His response was: “It is written...” (See Matthew 4:1-11) When the enemy comes at you with his lies, give him a jab by speaking the Word of God.

The stone which the builders rejected has become the chief cornerstone. This was the LORD’s doing; It is marvelous in our eyes. — Psalm 118:22-23 (NKJV) Be wise and build your life upon the rock and when the storms come and beat against your house, you will not be moved. Therefore, this is what the Sovereign LORD says: “ Look! I am placing a foundation stone in Jerusalem, a firm and tested stone. It is a precious cornerstone that is safe to build on. Whoever believes need never be shaken . (Isaiah 28:16 NLT) You are coming to Christ, who is the living cornerstone of God’s temple. He was rejected by people, but he was chosen by God for great honor. (1 Peter 2:4 NLT) Together, we are his house, built on the foundation of the apostles and the prophets. And the cornerstone is Christ Jesus himself. — Ephesians 2:20 (NLT)

“I have spread out My hands all the day long to a rebellious and stubborn people, who walk in the way that is not good, [following] after their own thoughts and intentions,” — Isaiah 65:2 (AMP) We walk a crooked path when we turn away from God’s will to follow our own selfish, fleshly desires. Voices are heard high on the windswept mountains, the weeping and pleading of Israel’s people. For they have chosen crooked paths and have forgotten the LORD their God. (Jeremiah 3:21 NLT) Remember the LORD, Who knew you before He formed you in your mother's womb. His plans for you are good. “My wayward children,” says the LORD, “come back to me, and I will heal your wayward hearts.”  (Jeremiah 3:22a NLT) The arms of the LORD are open wide, waiting to embrace His children who have strayed away. May the answer of our hearts be the same as His people in Jeremiah 3:22b (NLT): “Yes, we’re coming,” the people reply, “for you are the LORD our God.
