Great is His Goodness

Image
“How great is the goodness you have stored up for those who fear you. You lavish it on those who come to you for protection, blessing them before the watching world.” — Psalms 31:19 (NLT) Good and upright is the LORD; Therefore He teaches sinners in the way. The humble He guides in justice, and the humble He teaches His way. (Psalms 25:8-9 NKJV) He loves righteousness and justice; The earth is full of the goodness of the LORD. (Psalms 33:5 NKJV) Oh, that men would give thanks to the LORD for His goodness, and for His wonderful works to the children of men! For He satisfies the longing soul, and fills the hungry soul with goodness. (Psalms 107:8-9 NKJV) The goodness of God endures continually. (See Psalms 52:1) He is ready to forgive, and abundant in mercy to all those who call upon Him. (See Psalms 86:5) O love the LORD, all you His godly ones! The LORD preserves the faithful [those with moral and spiritual integrity] and fully repays the [self-righteousness of the] arrogant. — Psalms...

Do As He Says

Image
Simon answered and said, “Master, we worked hard all night and caught nothing, but I will do as You say and let down the nets.” — Luke 5:5 (NASB1995) Even though Peter and the other fishermen had worked hard all night and caught nothing, he obeyed the words of Yeshua and lowered the nets again. As a result, they caught such a great number of fish, they signaled to their partners in the other boat to come and help them. And they filled both of the boats, so that they began to sink. (See Luke 5:6-7) Oh, the blessings that follow our obedience! May we always do as our Lord and Savior says. When He says: “Follow Me,” let us follow Him each and every moment of the day. It’s only when we abide in Him that we can bear much fruit. (See John 15:4-5)  Yeshua says: “Whenever you stand praying, forgive, if you have anything against anyone…” And the blessing we receive is that our Father who is in heaven will also forgive us our transgressions. (See Mark 11:25) In Matthew 6:31-32, Yeshua instr...

Choose Life

Image
“ Your own wickedness punishes you. Your own unfaithfulness rebukes you. Look deep into your heart and you will learn how evil and bitter it is to forsake me, YAHWEH your God, and have no awe of me. I, YAHWEH, Commander of Angel Armies, have spoken. ” — Jeremiah 2:19 (TPT) May we learn from our wrong choices and bad decisions. Hold onto the faith, and never reject YAHWEH. To be indifferent to Him is like being lukewarm. In Revelation 3:16 Yeshua says: “…because you are lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will vomit you out of My mouth.”  Life and death are set before us, the blessing and the curse. So choose life in order that you may live, you and your descendants… (See Deuteronomy 30:19). To choose YAHWEH is to choose life. All who desire real life, choose YAHWEH, and His Son. No one comes to the Father except through Yeshua. (See John 14:16 TLV) He came that we may have and enjoy life, and have it in abundance [to the full, till it overflows]. (See John 10:10 AMP)

Continual Guidance

Image
Yahweh will always guide you where to go and what to do. He will fill you with refreshment even when you are in a dry, difficult place. He will continually restore strength to you, so you will flourish like a well-watered garden and like an ever-flowing, trustworthy spring of blessing. — Isaiah 58:11 (TPT) When you don’t know what to do, always seek guidance from Yahweh. Seek His will through the Holy Scriptures. Be still, tune your ears to hear His still small voice and follow the leading of His Holy Spirit within you. He will show you the best pathway for your life. Oh, the joys of those who do not follow the advice of the wicked, or stand around with sinners, or join in with mockers. But they delight in the law of the LORD, meditating on it day and night. They are like trees planted along the riverbank, bearing fruit each season. Their leaves never wither, and they prosper in all they do. (Psalms 1:1-3 NLT)

The Turn Around

Image
For they had not provided the Israelites with food and water in the wilderness. Instead, they hired Balaam to curse them, though our God turned the curse into a blessing. — Nehemiah 13:2 (NLT) Dear friends, don’t be surprised at the fiery trials you are going through, as if something strange were happening to you. (1 Peter 4:12 NLT) With our great and mighty God, what our enemy plans for evil against us, can be turned around for good. Just as Joseph told his brothers in Genesis 50:20 (NLT): “You intended to harm me, but God intended it all for good. He brought me to this position so I could save the lives of many people.” The difficulties, troubles and trials we go through could result in the salvation of others. We may sow some tears, but do not grow weary or become discouraged. There will come a time of joyful shouting. (See Psalm 126:5) Amen. “For I know the plans I have for you,” says the LORD. “They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope.” — Jere...

Give Thanks

Image
By his divine power, God has given us everything we need for living a godly life. We have received all of this by coming to know him, the one who called us to himself by means of his marvelous glory and excellence. — 2 Peter 1:3 (NLT) We have been given all things that pertain to life and godliness. Let us receive them with an open heart. Anything else is related to death and ungodliness and a child of God wants no part of it. If our minds are preoccupied with the things of this world, we may not be able to perceive all the beautiful blessings our Heavenly Father showers upon us every moment of each and every day. As believers, let us set our sights on the things above. Psalm 128:1 (AMP) says: Blessed [happy and sheltered by God’s favor] is everyone who fears the LORD [and worships Him with obedience], who walks in His ways and lives according to His commandments. So let us enter into His gates with thanksgiving, and come into His courts with praise. Be thankful to Him, and bless His n...

The Real Blessing

Image
“The LORD is the one who goes ahead of you; He will be with you. He will not fail you or forsake you. Do not fear or be dismayed.” — Deuteronomy 31:8 (NASB1995) In Exodus 33:14 (NKJV), the LORD said, “My Presence will go with you, and I will give you rest.” We can rest in Him when we realize that in His Presence, we have all that we need. If you are waiting on some “big” blessing, realize that Presence of YAHWEH is the greatest blessing we could ever experience. The real blessing is not in any material or temporary thing. His Presence with us, always and forever, is the highest honor and privilege. In His Presence is peace, joy and unfailing love. With the LORD there is lovingkindness. (See Psalm 130:7 NASB1995) In His Presence is healing, restoration, renewal, and times of refreshing (see Acts 3:19 NKJV). In Joshua 1:5 (NASB), the LORD said to Joshua, “No one will be able to oppose you all the days of your life. Just as I have been with Moses, I will be with you; I will not desert you...

He Sustains You

Image
The steps of a [good and righteous] man are directed and established by the LORD, and He delights in his way [and blesses his path]. When he falls, he will not be hurled down, because the LORD is the One who holds his hand and sustains him. — Psalm 37:23-24 (AMP) You’ve gone into my future to prepare the way, and in kindness you follow behind me to spare me from the harm of my past. With your hand of love upon my life, you impart a blessing to me. This is just too wonderful, deep, and incomprehensible! Your understanding of me brings me wonder and strength. (Psalm 139:5-6 TPT) Find strength in the One Who holds your hand and sustains you. He has placed His hand of blessing on your head. ‘May the LORD bless you and protect you. May the LORD smile on you and be gracious to you. May the LORD show you his favor and give you his peace.’ — Numbers 6:24-26 (NLT)

His Hand of Love

Image
You’ve gone into my future to prepare the way, and in kindness you follow behind me to spare me from the harm of my past. With your hand of love upon my life, you impart a blessing to me. — Psalm 139:5 (TPT) Our heavenly Father formed us in our mother’s womb and brought us into this world. When our days on this earth are done, He will be the One who welcomes us into a glorious eternity. And each day in between, He will be by our side, as we journey through life. We have the blessing of His Presence and His hand of love, gently leads us along the pathway that leads to life and life more abundantly. His hand of love is our protection and our peace. Wherever I go, your hand will guide me; your strength will empower me. It’s impossible to disappear from you or to ask the darkness to hide me, for your presence is everywhere, bringing light into my night. — Psalm 139:10-11 (TPT)

Great is His Goodness

Image
How great is the goodness you have stored up for those who fear you. You lavish it on those who come to you for protection, blessing them before the watching world. You hide them in the shelter of your presence, safe from those who conspire against them. You shelter them in your presence, far from accusing tongues. — Psalm 31:19-20 (NLT) Trust in the LORD. Be glad and rejoice in His unfailing love, for He has seen your troubles, and He cares about the anguish of your soul. He has not handed you over to your enemies but has set you in a safe place. (Psalm 31:6-8) He is our rock and our fortress; for His name’s sake He will lead us and guide us. (Psalm 31:3) Follow Him.

ENDURE

Image
After you have suffered for a little while, the God of all grace [who imparts His blessing and favor], who called you to His own eternal glory in Christ, will Himself complete, confirm, strengthen, and establish you [making you what you ought to be]. — 1 Peter 5:10 (AMP) We will endure some light momentary affliction and times of trouble, however, God will restore us, support us, and give us strength. He will place us on a firm foundation and build us up. Our heavenly Father blesses us with His favor and has called us to His everlasting presence through Jesus, the Anointed One. He endured the cross, disregarded its shame and is now seated in the place of honor beside God’s throne. “... In the world you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world. ” — John 16:33 (NKJV)

Trust in the LORD

Image
I hate those who worship worthless idols. I trust in the LORD. I will be glad and rejoice in your unfailing love, for you have seen my troubles, and you care about the anguish of my soul. You have not handed  me over to my enemies but have set me in a safe place. — Psalm 31:6-8 (NLT) How great is the goodness you have stored up for those who fear you. You lavish it on those who come to you for protection, blessing them before the watching world. (Psalm 31:19 NLT) Oh, love the LORD, all you His saints! For the LORD preserves the faithful, and fully repays the proud person. Be of good courage, and He shall strengthen your heart, all you who hope in the LORD. (Psalm 31:23-24 NKJV)

Come Freely

Image
Therefore let us [with privilege] approach the throne of grace [that is, the throne of God’s gracious favor] with confidence and without fear, so that we may receive mercy [for our failures] and find [His amazing] grace to help in time of need [an appropriate blessing, coming just at the right moment]. — Hebrews 4:16 (AMP) Since we have a great High Priest, Jesus, the Son of God who has passed through the heavens from death into new life with God, let us hold tightly to our faith. For Jesus is not some high priest who has no sympathy for our weaknesses and flaws. He has already been tested in every way that we are tested; but He emerged victorious, without failing God. (Hebrews 4:14-15 VOICE) What a great privilege and honor! Jesus has given us access, so come freely into the throne room of God today. Present yourselves to God as a living and holy sacrifice. Receive mercy and accept His help. So now we come freely and boldly to where love is enthroned, to receive mercy’s kiss and d...

Do It Again

Image
God was wonderful to us; we are one happy people. And now, God, do it again— bring rains to our drought-stricken lives so those who planted their crops in despair will shout hurrahs at the harvest, so those who went off with heavy hearts will come home laughing, with armloads of blessing. — Psalm 126:3-6 (MSG) Many, O LORD my God, are Your wonderful works which You have done; and Your thoughts toward us cannot be recounted to You in order; If I would declare and speak of them, they are more than can be numbered. (Psalm 40:5 NKJV) Abba Father, I look with joyful expectation for You to do it again. For You, LORD, have made me glad through Your work; I will triumph in the works of Your hands. (Psalm 92:4) I will praise You, O LORD, with my whole heart; I will tell of all Your marvelous works. (Psalm 9:1) God has not brought you this far to leave you now.

Keep Soaring!

Image
He gives power to the weak and strength to the powerless. Even youths will become weak and tired, and young men will fall in exhaustion. But those who trust in the LORD will find new strength. They will soar high on wings like eagles. They will run and not grow weary. They will walk and not faint. — Isaiah 40:29-31 (NLT) Keep soaring with Jesus and you will find new strength. In the depths of your suffering, greater strength is developed. In the midst of your pain, you will gain power to rise up. As you continue to mount up with wings like eagles, your mess will become your message. Your tests and trials will lead to your testimony of what God has done. Keep soaring with the LORD and the land of your brokenness will be the place of your blessing. You will come out of the fiery furnace without even the smell of smoke on you. Keep soaring through the valley and onto the victory, we have in Jesus. Spread your wings and rise higher and higher toward the glorious destination the LORD has...

Continually Choose Life

Image
“I call heaven and earth as witnesses against you today that I have set before you life and death, blessing and curse. Choose life so that you and your descendants may live, love the LORD your God, obey him, and remain faithful to him. For he is your life, and he will prolong your days…” — Deuteronomy 30:19-20 (CSB)  Each and every day we are presented with choices that either bring life or bring death. When we speak words of life, we transmit hope, peace and love. When we speak negative, critical words or engage in gossip, we kill joy, hope, love, peace, etc., not only in ourselves but in those who hear our words. It’s not just the words we speak, but our thoughts and actions either give life and blessing or lead to cursing and death. Choose life each moment of the day. Our heavenly Father instructs us to choose life and live under His cloud of blessing. As children of God, that is where we not only survive, but thrive. Examine yourself and see if your choices lead to life ...

Got Joy?

Image
And they worshiped Him and returned to Jerusalem with great joy [fully understanding that He lives and that He is the Son of God]; and they were continually in the temple blessing and praising God. — Luke 24:52-53 (AMP) The Message Bible says the disciples were bursting with joy! If you need some joy, spend time with Jesus, our risen Savior. When we understand Who He is and realize that in Him, we already have the victory, our hearts will be filled with joy. Instead of letting adverse circumstances get you down, keep worshiping the Lord and know that He will bring you out on the other side. Everything we go through in this life is temporary and Jesus has already overcome the world. Don’t let the enemy steal your joy, for the joy of the Lord is our strength (Nehemiah 8:10).

Draw Near

Image
As the deer pants for the water brooks, so my soul pants for You, O God. My soul thirsts for God, for the living God; When shall I come and appear before God? — Psalm 42:1-2 (NASB) And so, dear brothers and sisters, we can boldly enter heaven’s Most Holy Place because of the blood of Jesus. By his death, Jesus opened a new and life-giving way through the curtain into the Most Holy Place. (Hebrews 10:19-20 NLT) Therefore let us [with privilege] approach the throne of grace [that is, the throne of God’s gracious favor] with confidence and without fear, so that we may receive mercy [for our failures] and find [His amazing] grace to help in time of need [an appropriate blessing, coming just at the right moment]. (Hebrews 4:16 AMP) … let us draw near with a sincere heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled clean from an evil conscience and our bodies washed with pure water. — Hebrews 10:22 (NASB)

Turn Up the Praise!

Image
Oh come, let us sing to the LORD! Let us shout joyfully to the Rock of our salvation. Let us come before His presence with thanksgiving;  Let us shout joyfully to Him with psalms.  For the LORD is the great God, a nd the great King above all gods. — Psalm 95:1-3 (NKJV) Let us worship God not just for what He has done, but for WHO He is: the great I AM, our Creator. Give unto the LORD the glory due to His name; Worship the LORD in the beauty of holiness. (Psalm 29:2 NKJV)  What a stack of blessing you have piled up for those who worship you, ready and waiting for all who run to you to escape an unkind world. You hide them safely away from the opposition. (Psalm 31:19-20 MSG) Now I’ll worship you passionately and bring to you my sacrifice of praise, drenched with thanksgiving! — Psalm 116:17 (TPT)

He Sees You

Image
Thereafter, Hagar used another name to refer to the LORD, who had spoken to her. She said, “You are the God who sees me.” She also said, “Have I truly seen the One who sees me?” — Genesis 16:13 (NLT) Our heavenly Father sees us. We can take comfort in the fact that His eye is upon us. The Amplified Bible says, He sees us with understanding and compassion (Genesis 16:13). The LORD watches over us because He cares for us. He guides us and strengthens us as we go. Thank God that He never leaves our side. O LORD, you have examined my heart and know everything about me. You know when I sit down or stand up. You know my thoughts even when I’m far away. You see me when I travel and when I rest at home. You know everything I do. You know what I am going to say even before I say it, LORD. You go before me and follow me. You place your hand of blessing on my head. If I ride the wings of the morning, if I dwell by the farthest oceans, even there your hand will guide me, and your streng...
