And we know [with great confidence] that God [who is deeply concerned about us] causes all things to work together [as a plan] for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to His plan and purpose. — Romans 8:28 (AMP) The Scripture says Yahweh causes ALL things to work together for good. Whatever happens, remember, our great God is deeply concerned about you. If you love God and are called according to His purpose know that He is working for your good. Any challenges you faced in the past has made you stronger for future challenges. Yield to His plan and purpose and you will have good success. You can do all things [which He has called you to do] through Him who strengthens and empowers you. (See Philippians 4:13 AMP) Now may our Lord Jesus Christ Himself and God our Father, who has loved us and given us eternal comfort and good hope by grace, comfort and strengthen your hearts in every good work and word. — 2 Thessalonians 2:16-17 (NASB1995)

That leaves nothing out. No matter how crazy and unsettling current circumstances may appear, we can be certain that they will come to pass, and God will cause something good to eventually come out of the situation. Also, we know that Yahweh is with us through all of our troubles. Let His Presence with us be our greatest source of comfort and confidence. He is faithful to deliver us out of all our troubles and trials.

He watches over us continually to lead us and guide us along on the path that leads to life. He didn’t create us to abandon us. He is attentively involved in the details of our lives. The second take away from this verse is that our heavenly Father has a plan. And Jeremiah 29:11 says, His plan for us is for peace and well-being and not for disaster, to give us a future and a hope. And third, we need to love Yahweh, and put Him first in all we do; Honor Him in our speech and our behavior. We also need to be called according to His plan and purpose, instead of running our own agenda, and we can be confident that He will cause all things to work together for good.

God has a plan for your life and it is a good plan. Trust God from the bottom of your heart; don’t try to figure out everything on your own. Listen for God’s voice in everything you do, everywhere you go; he’s the one who will keep you on track. The question is: Do we love God? True love for God means obeying his commands, and his commands don’t weigh us down as heavy burdens. (1 John 5:3 TPT) The second criteria for God to work everything together for good is to be called according to His plan and purpose. If we are doing what God called us to do,  we can be certain, ALL things will come together for good. So we are convinced that every detail of our lives is continually woven together to fit into God’s perfect plan of bringing good into our lives, for we are his lovers who have been called to fulfill his designed purpose. May we hold onto His perfect peace, as we develop patience and perseverance. Working all things together for good is a process that takes T-I-M-E. Be assured that the testing of your faith [through experience] produces endurance [leading to spiritual maturity, and inner peace]. (James 1:3 AMP) We can rejoice, too, when we run into problems and trials, for we know that they help us develop endurance. (Romans 5:3 NLT) Indeed we count them blessed who endure. You have heard of the perseverance of Job and seen the end intended by the Lord—that the Lord is very compassionate and merciful. (James 5:11 NKJV)

The LORD is deeply concerned about you! His care is not just on the surface or superficial. His concern for us is deep and thorough, for all areas of our lives now and into eternity. While unexpected life events may take us by surprise, they don’t ever catch God off guard. He is fully aware and He has already made a way for you through each and every difficult situation. Every day of your life was recorded in His book. Every moment was laid out before a single day had passed. (Psalm 139:16). Your current circumstances will work together for good as you love God with all your heart, mind and soul and continue to pursue the plan and purpose He has given to you.

Behold, how good and how pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity! — Psalm 133:1 (NKJV) May there be no division in the body of Christ. For just as each of us has one body with many members, and these members do not all have the same function, so in Christ we, though many, form one body, and each member belongs to all the others (Romans 12:4-5 NIV).  Let us work together with one mind and purpose, that of advancing the Kingdom of God. Not all of us have the same function but we do have a part to play. If you’ve gotten anything at all out of following Christ, if his love has made any difference in your life, if being in a community of the Spirit means anything to you, if you have a heart, if you care— then do me a favor: Agree with each other, love each other, be deep-spirited friends.  (Philippians 2:1-2 MSG). Don’t be obsessed with getting your own advantage. Forget yourselves long enough to lend a helping hand (Philippians 2:4 MSG).

And we know that God causes everything to work together for the good of those who love God and are called according to his purpose for them. — Romans 8:28 (NLT) What have I learned in 52 years of living? The most important lesson I have learned is that our great big God is indeed good all the time! And He does in fact cause everything to work together for good. All the things I stressed out about, came and went and yet I stand. He faithfully brought me through things I thought I would never make it through. Wherever you are in life, know that He will see you through the good and the bad, the fire and the flood. God’s plans for you are good. As you love God and continue to follow Him, His wonderful plans and purpose for your life will unfold. It may not always be pretty, but it will be powerful!

One event by itself may appear not to be good, but worked together with other things, good will come out of it. Every day of your life was recorded in His book.
