Manna for Your Morning

Through the LORD’s mercies we are not consumed, because His compassions fail not. They are new every morning; Great is Your faithfulness. — Lamentations 3:22-23 (NKJV) “I will sing of the LORD’s unfailing love forever! Young and old will hear of your faithfulness. Your unfailing love will last forever. Your faithfulness is as enduring as the heavens.” (Psalms 89:1-2 NLT) “Though we experience every kind of pressure, we’re not crushed. At times we don’t know what to do, but quitting is not an option. We are persecuted by others, but God has not forsaken us. We may be knocked down, but not out.” (2 Corinthians 4:8-9 TPT) In Psalms 89:33-34 (NKJV) the LORD said: “…My lovingkindness I will not utterly take from him, nor allow My faithfulness to fail. My covenant I will not break, nor alter the word that has gone out of My lips.” May we trust in the LORD and do good; Dwell in the land and cultivate faithfulness. (See Psalms 37:3 NASB1995)

At the dawn of each new day, let us have hope as we remember the lovingkindness of Yahweh is being poured out upon us. Even when we are not faithful, He remains faithful. We get a fresh start every morning! No matter how badly we messed up yesterday, we can repent and move forward, doing the new thing the LORD has for us today. Lamentations 3:22 (CSB) says, because of the LORD’s faithful love we do not perish… So let us keep in step with YAHWEH, no looking back or taking detours, knowing that He loves us, no matter what.. May we open our hearts to receive His never ending supply of love and mercy. Allow Him to continually fill you with more of Him, and healing will come. He will turn your mourning into gladness. Do you want what's normal or new? So much about our heavenly Father is not routine or normal: seas parting, sick people being healed, barren wombs giving birth, blind eyes receiving sight, the dead coming back to life, etc. Instead of looking for what is normal, let us begin each day new and fresh, trusting God to be our guide. The LORD is good to all; he has compassion on all he has made. — Psalm 145:9 (NIV) O taste and see that the LORD is good; How blessed is the man who takes refuge in Him! (Psalm 34:8 NASB) The LORD’s compassions for us never fail. They are new every morning. May we be like our heavenly Father, and be good to all. Have fresh new mercy and compassion for those who may have offended you in the past. Don’t look out only for your own interests, but take an interest in others, too. (Philippians 2:4 NLT) Recognize the value of every person and continually show love to every believer. Live your lives with great reverence and in holy awe of God. So if you’re serious about living this new resurrection life with Christ, act like it. Pursue the things over which Christ presides. Don’t shuffle along, eyes to the ground, absorbed with the things right in front of you. Look up, and be alert to what is going on around Christ—that’s where the action is. See things from his perspective. — Colossians 3:1-2 (MSG) The enemy likes to distract us with the difficulties of the day. Don’t fall for his tricks. Keep your eyes on Jesus and what He is doing. See things from God’s perspective. How the world sees you is of no consequence, if you don’t buy into it. When you see things from His perspective, your thoughts about yourself line up with His Word. You are a child of the Most High God. You are loved, chosen, and accepted. You are more than a conqueror! And those who know Your name will put their trust in You, for You, O LORD, have not forsaken those who seek You. — Psalm 9:10 (NASB)

Let me hear of your unfailing love each morning, for I am trusting you. Seek His guidance and He will show you the way in which you should walk.

They could not see past Friday, to the glory of Sunday and the empty tomb. If we are more plugged in to the negative news of this world, instead of the Good News we have in Jesus, the Living Word, our outlook becomes dark and gloomy. If we rely on the Word of God instead of a doctor’s report, we will maintain our peace and a proper perspective. To keep a proper perspective, look up to Almighty God and look in His Word which stands forever. What looks like failure, is just a temporary spot on the way to your promise land. It’s ...

The LORD has appeared of old to me, saying: “Yes, I have loved you with an everlasting love; Therefore with lovingkindness I have drawn you.” — Jeremiah 31:3 (NKJV) God draws us to Himself with love and kindness, and what great a love He has lavished on us! I will lift up my eyes to the hills— From whence comes my help? My help comes from the LORD, Who made heaven and earth. — Psalm 121:1-2 (NKJV) Sometimes we put a lot of time and energy into trying to figure stuff out on our own. As we take our eyes off of the situation or the person, and put them on the LORD, He will reveal things to us at the proper time and in His way. As we invest our time and energy into seeking His face, He shows us the solution. He gives us the answer to the problem. He exposes the root cause of an issue. As we look to Him, He will take care of ALL that concerns us. He is The Fixer. He makes old things new. He brings dead things back to life. He mends broken hearts and fractured relationships. He lifts up the heads that are beat down. Always look to Him!

There is a continual flow of His compassions toward us. Great is His faithfulness! Because the LORD's compassions are new every morning, we don’t have to dwell on the shortcomings of yesterday. Today, we get a clean slate. We can press on, making the most of every opportunity He gives us. Because of His lovingkindness, He gives us wisdom, when we ask for it, and guides us along on the best pathway for our lives (Psalm 32:8). Because of His lovingkindness, we are free to live in fullness of joy, love, and peace.

He does not hold grudges over the mistakes we made yesterday. Instead, the LORD is longsuffering and abundant in mercy. Once we confess our sins, He is faithful to forgive us and remember them no more. If He doesn’t hold our past against us, why do we sometimes have difficulty letting go and moving forward? Today, we have a fresh new start in Christ, let’s press on, toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus. The Creator of the universe has thoughts about you that outnumber the sand. Dare to hope, knowing that nothing can separate you from His great love. And I am convinced that nothing can ever separate us from God’s love. Neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither our fears for today nor our worries about tomorrow—not even the powers of hell can separate us...

Cause me to hear Your lovingkindness in the morning, for in You do I trust; Cause me to know the way in which I should walk, for I lift up my soul to You. — Psalm 143:8 (NKJV) We can not only hear of the LORD’s lovingkindness, we can experience it for ourselves. The LORD’s lovingkindnesses indeed never cease, for His compassions never fail. They are new every morning; Great is Your faithfulness. (Lamentations 3:22-23 NASB) He crowns us [lavishly] with lovingkindness and tender mercy (Psalm 103:4b AMP). His lovingkindness is better than life itself (Psalm 63:3a).  How blessed and favored are the people in such circumstance; How blessed [fortunate, prosperous, and favored] are the people whose God is the LORD! (Psalm 144:15 AMP)

And the vessel that he made of clay was marred in the hand of the potter; so he made it again into another vessel, as it seemed good to the potter to make. — Jeremiah 18:4 (NKJV)  It’s not so much about being perfect as it is about being teachable and remaining on God’s wheel so He can mold us into the person He created us to be. When life events cause our vessels to be cracked and broken, our story is not over. God is not finished with us yet. Not only will He will make us new, He is also able to use us in whatever condition we are in. We now have this light shining in our hearts, but we ourselves are like fragile clay jars containing this great treasure. This makes it clear that our great power is from God, not from ourselves (2 Corinthians 4:7 NLT).

For we are God’s masterpiece. He has created us anew in Christ Jesus, so we can do the good things he planned for us long ago. — Ephesians 2:10 (NLT) You are a unique masterpiece put together by our heavenly Father, one of a kind. You are His special treasure, created new in Christ Jesus. We are the clay, and our Father the potter; And all of us are the work of His hand. (Isaiah 64:8) Just as clay in the hand of the potter, we need to be soft and pliable in His hands in order to fulfill the good things He has planned for us. May we bend when He says bend and fold in the places where He wants us to fold. And He is able to [carry out His purpose and] do superabundantly more than all that we dare ask or think [infinitely beyond our greatest prayers, hopes, or dreams]… (Ephesians 3:20 AMP)
