Manna for Your Morning

We know that our old sinful selves were crucified with Christ so that sin might lose its power in our lives. We are no longer slaves to sin. For when we died with Christ we were set free from the power of sin. And since we died with Christ, we know we will also live with him. Death no longer has any power over him. — Romans 6:6-9 (NLT)  We were set free from the power of sin, to live with Christ. Let us live with Jesus and not just visit Him on Sunday morning. Abide in Him 24 hours a day, 7 days a week; continually talk to Him. Dine with Him daily. When we open the door, of our heart, He will come in to us and dine with us. If you need some joy, spend time with Jesus, our risen Savior. When we understand Who He is and realize that in Him, we already have the victory, our hearts will be filled with joy. Instead of letting adverse circumstances get you down, keep worshiping the Lord and know that He will bring you out on the other side. Everything we go through in this life is temporary and Jesus has already overcome the world. Don’t let the enemy steal your joy, for the joy of the Lord is our strength (Nehemiah 8:10).
