He may have a great army, but they are merely men. We have the LORD our God to help us and to fight our battles for us!” Hezekiah’s words greatly encouraged the people. — 2 Chronicles 32:8 (NLT) When the enemy attacks, do not be afraid or discouraged, for the battle is not yours, but God’s. Nothing is too difficult for our great God. Stand strong in the LORD and on His Word. How blessed [fortunate, prosperous, and favored by God] are all those who take refuge in Him! (Psalm 2:12b)

He delivered me from my strong enemy, from those who hated me; for they were too strong for me. They confronted me in the day of my calamity, but the LORD was my support. — 2 Samuel 22:18-19 (NKJV) When the enemy attacks, know that the LORD is your support and the day of your deliverance is near. The Message Bible says, God is bedrock under my feet, the castle in which I live, my rescuing knight. My God—the high crag where I run for dear life, hiding behind the boulders, safe in the granite hideout; My mountaintop refuge, he saves me from ruthless men. (2 Samuel 22:2-3) Call on the LORD, who is worthy of praise, and take shelter in Him. He will deliver you from the hand of your enemies and out of all your troubles.

The eternal God is your refuge, and his everlasting arms are under you. He drives out the enemy before you; — Deuteronomy 33:27 (NLT) Our heavenly Father is our refuge, a secure shelter that protects us and keeps us safe when the enemy attacks. As we abide in Him, our battles belong to the LORD! And He always leads us in triumph in Christ. For since the beginning of the world men have not heard nor perceived by the ear, nor has the eye seen any God besides You, Who acts for the one who waits for Him. (Isaiah 64:4 NKJV). Take refuge in Almighty God.

They confronted me in the day of my calamity, but the LORD was my support.  — Psalm 18:18 (NKJV) When your enemy attacks, the LORD will stand by your side. While others may abandon you, God is your strong and mighty support. Whenever I am afraid, I will trust in the LORD. In God (I will praise His word), in God I have put my trust; I will not fear. What can flesh do to me? (Psalm 56:3-4)

For You have been a shelter for me, a strong tower from the enemy. I will abide in Your tabernacle forever; I will trust in the shelter of Your wings. Selah — Psalm 61:3-4 (NKJV) We have an open invitation from Abba Father to live in the safety of His sanctuary. The LORD is a tower of strength against the adversary. He shall cover you with His feathers, and under His wings you shall take refuge (Psalm 91:4). No matter what attacks may come, trust in the shelter of His wings.
