Manna for Your Morning

...casting all your anxiety on Him, because He cares for you. — 1 Peter 5:7 (NASB) Live free from worry by casting every care, concern, and all of your anxiety on the LORD, because He most definitely cares for you. Destroy speculations and every lofty thing raised up against the knowledge of God, and take every thought captive to the obedience of Christ, (2 Corinthians 10:5). If a thought does not line up with the Word of God it has no place in the mind of a Believer. The LORD will accomplish what concerns you because His lovingkindness is everlasting; (Psalm 138:8) Cast your burden upon the LORD and He will sustain you; He will never allow the righteous to be shaken. — Psalm 55:22 (NASB)

Every single moment you are thinking of me! How precious and wonderful to consider that you cherish me constantly in your every thought! O God, your desires toward me are more than the grains of sand on every shore! When I awake each morning, you’re still with me. — Psalm 139:17-18 (TPT) No matter what you have been through today, God is still with you. He will protect, guide and comfort you. He gives us strength and is our strong foundation. He sustains us in the good times and the bad.

When I look at the night sky and see the work of your fingers— the moon and the stars you set in place— what are mere mortals that you should think about them, human beings that you should care for them? Yet you made them only a little lower than God and crowned them with glory and honor. You gave them charge of everything you made, putting all things under their authority —   Psalm 8:3-6 (NLT) Our heavenly Father and Creator of the universe, is mindful of us. Even before He made the world, God loved us and chose us. Every single moment you are thinking of me! How precious and wonderful to consider that you cherish me constantly in your every thought! O God, your desires toward me are more than the grains of sand on every shore! When I awake each morning, you’re still with me. (Psalm 139:17-18 TPT) Never think for one moment, our ever-present God has forgotten about you. He is working all things together for your good.

How precious and wonderful to consider that you cherish me constantly in your every thought! O God, your desires toward me are more than the grains of sand on every shore! When I awake each morning, you’re still with me. (Psalm 139:17-18 TPT) May we give God greater attention. Let us pay more attention to our Mighty God than to our cell phones, our social media posts or our favorite sports team. Give greater attention to the One we celebrate, than to the activities and events themselves. Be intentional in your thoughts of our heavenly Father and Christ our Savior. Cherish Him constantly.

Acknowledge the God of your father, and serve him with wholehearted devotion and with a willing mind, for the LORD searches every heart and understands every desire and every thought. — 1 Chronicles 28:9 (NIV) In the parable of the lost son, the older brother was angry and wouldn’t go in to the celebration of the return of the prodigal son (Luke 15:28-30). Even though the older son stayed with his father and served him, while the younger son did his own thing, his heart was not with him. Likewise, we can be in church every week and still have a heart that is far from the heart of God. May we examine our hearts and make sure the affections of our hearts are in perfect alignment with the things that please our heavenly Father. Amen.

Ponder the path of your feet, and let all your ways be established. Do not turn to the right or the left;  Remove your foot from evil.  — Proverbs 4:26-27 (NKJV) Let us give careful thought to the way we choose to go. Don't let your attention be captivated by the sideshows and refuse to take any detours off the path of life, which the LORD shows us. Proverbs 4:18 says, the path of the just is like the shining sun, that shines ever brighter unto the perfect day. Follow the light of the LORD!
