Manna for Your Morning

“Be still, be calm, see, and understand I am the True God. I am honored among all the nations. I am honored over all the earth.” — Psalm 46:10 (VOICE) Cease striving and understand that the LORD our God is the one true God. He is the Most High God. Honor Him. Our heavenly Father is over all the earth. The Message Bible says to: “ Step out of the traffic! Take a long, loving look at me, your High God, above politics, above everything. ” (Psalm 46:10 MSG) He reigns over every situation in your life, over every mountain and over every valley. And He loves you. He is always with you, never to leave you nor forsake you. Surrender your anxiety! Be silent and stop your striving and you will see that I am God. I am the God above all the nations, and I will be exalted throughout the whole earth. — Psalm 46:10 (TPT)

Take a long, loving look at me, your High God, above politics, above everything.” — Psalm 46:10 (MSG) Step away from the business of life, with its many distractions and take a long loving look at our mighty, awesome God. Adore Him. He is above politics, sports, and doctor reports. You don’t need a telescope, a microscope, or a horoscope to realize the fullness of Christ, and the emptiness of the universe without him. When you come to him, that fullness comes together for you, too. His power extends over everything. (Colossians 2:10 MSG)  Let us look only to Jesus, the Champion who initiates and perfects our faith (Hebrews 12:2) Look up to Him, from whom our help comes.

Turn a deaf ear to all the voices in the world clamoring for your attention and tune in to the voice of the Most High God. Hit the stop button on the chatter in your mind that causes doubt and fear. Recognize that He is a great and mighty God, full of grace, mercy and compassion. Acknowledge His Presence in your life. When you go through the floods and the fire, He is there. Understand that even when the world shuns you, our heavenly Father loves and cherishes you. He continually draws us closer to Him. When you give attention to our great God, everything else comes into proper perspective. He is exalted above all else. Let us be still and recognize that Almighty God is GOD. Draw near to Him and get to know Him, His ways, His will and His Word. Understand that He is exalted above all. He is over every circumstance in your life. If all others forsake you, God stands by your side. He is with you and He enables you to persevere and conquer all.

Attention, all! See the marvels of God! He plants flowers and trees all over the earth, bans war from pole to pole, breaks all the weapons across his knee “Step out of the traffic! Put your hand in the hand of the Father and be led on the path that He has for you. It is a path of abundant life and peace. Take a long, loving look at the LORD. He is above all.
