“You will keep in perfect and constant peace the one whose mind is steadfast [that is, committed and focused on You—in both inclination and character], because he trusts and takes refuge in You [with hope and confident expectation].” — Isaiah 26:3 (AMP) When we stay focused on Yahweh, His goodness and His faithfulness, our peace will be perfect and constant. It will not be moved by external circumstances. “Trust in Yahweh forever, for in Yah—Yahweh Himself—we have an everlasting Rock.” (Isaiah 26:4 LSB) casting all your cares [all your anxieties, all your worries, and all your concerns, once and for all] on Him, for He cares about you [with deepest affection, and watches over you very carefully]. (1 Peter 5:7 AMP) Do not be anxious or worried about anything, but in everything [every circumstance and situation] by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, continue to make your [specific] requests known to God. constantly rejoicing in hope [because of our confidence in Christ], steadfast and patient in distress, devoted to prayer [continually seeking wisdom, guidance, and strength], — Romans 12:12 (AMP) Let us constantly rejoice in the hope we have in Christ. This hope [this confident assurance] we have as an anchor of the soul [it cannot slip and it cannot break down under whatever pressure bears upon it]—a safe and steadfast hope that enters within the veil [of the heavenly temple, that most Holy Place in which the very presence of God dwells], (Hebrews 6:19 AMP) Don't drift and have no doubt, for the one who doubts is like a wave of the sea that is driven and tossed by the wind. (See James 1:6) Cling to your faith in Christ, and keep your conscience clear. For some people have deliberately violated their consciences; as a result, their faith has been shipwrecked. (1 Timothy 1:19 NLT) Continually seek God's wisdom and guidance and draw your strength from Him.

Give more attention to the Good News than to the nightly negative news. Keep your thoughts focused on the Most High God, Elohim, the all-powerful One. For you know the saying, “We live in God; we move in God; we exist in God.” And still another said, “We are indeed God’s children.” (Acts 17:28 VOICE) “ Trust in the LORD forever, for in God the LORD, we have an everlasting Rock. ” — Isaiah 26:4 (NASB)

Why are you down in the dumps, dear soul? Why are you crying the blues? Fix my eyes on God—soon I’ll be praising again. He puts a smile on my face. He’s my God. — Psalm 42:11 (MSG) When we keep our eyes fixed on God, our hope in Him is alive and well. Happy is he who has the God of Jacob for his help, whose hope is in the LORD his God, (Psalm 146:5 NKJV) We can smile at the future because we know, with His help, all things are possible. The hope of the righteous will be gladness, (Proverbs 10:28a). Sailors put out the anchor when they want to keep the boat in place. In stormy times, we have to let hope serve as our trustworthy anchor, sure and steadfast. Hope will hold us close to our Savior.  Let us be constantly rejoicing in hope because of our confidence in Christ, (Romans 12:12a AMP).

(Jeremiah 17:7 NKJV) Our hope in Christ is is a strong and trustworthy anchor for our souls… It holds us firm and secure in stormy times. When the winds of adversity blow, it keeps us from being tossed to and fro in a sea of uncertainty. So be strong and courageous, all you who put your hope in the LORD! (Psalm 31:24 NLT)

“For the mountains may move and the hills disappear, but even then my faithful love for you will remain. My covenant of blessing will never be broken,” says the LORD, who has mercy on you. — Isaiah 54:10 (NLT) Know that the LORD your God, He is God, the faithful God who keeps covenant and mercy for a thousand generations with those who love Him and keep His commandments; (Deuteronomy 7:9 NKJV) God does not change. (Malachi 3:6) While the world around us is constantly changing, His love is sure and steadfast. His covenant of love is sealed with the blood of Jesus. May we be deeply rooted and securely grounded in His love. (Ephesians 3:17)

“And now, Lord, what do I wait for? My hope is in You.” — Psalm 39:7 (NKJV) Christ Jesus is our hope… (1 Timothy 1:1 NASB). Keep your hope in Him alive, and fresh! This hope we have as an anchor of the soul, is both sure and steadfast… (Hebrews 6:19 NKJV). Our hope is the anchor that will keep us from drifting when stormy winds blow. As we hang on to hope, it will keep us from being carried away by the currents of life circumstances and pressures. This hope is a strong and trustworthy anchor… (Hebrews 6:19 NLT). We can trust God to keep His promises because He is faithful. He will fulfill each and every one. And this hope will not lead to disappointment. For we know how dearly God loves us, because he has given us the Holy Spirit to fill our hearts with his love. ( Romans 5:5 NLT) Surely there is a future, and your hope will not be cut off. (Proverbs 23:18 NASB)

Anyone who meets a testing challenge head-on and manages to stick it out is mighty fortunate. For such persons loyally in love with God, the reward is life and more life. — James 1:12 (MSG) The Amplified Bible says, “Blessed [happy, spiritually prosperous, favored by God] is the man who is steadfast under trial and perseveres when tempted;” (James 1:12a). As we remain loyal in our love for God and continually rely on His love for us we are able to endure the challenges, trials and temptations. Nothing can separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord. (Romans 8:38-39). When we depend on God’s love, we can be confident that no matter what comes our way He has our best interests in mind. As a loving Father, He is faithful to help us overcome every challenge. Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors and gain an overwhelming victory through Him who loved us [so much that He died for us]. Romans 8:37 (AMP)

And the God of all grace, who called you to his eternal glory in Christ, after you have suffered a little while, will himself restore you and make you strong firm and steadfast. — 1 Peter 5:10 (NIV) Dear friends, don’t be surprised at the fiery trials you are going through, as if something strange were happening to you (1 Peter 4:12 NLT). Look away from all the distractions and fix your eyes upon Jesus, the source of all our faith and hope. Persevere the struggles, and after you have suffered a little while, God will restore you and make you strong.

Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil walks about like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour. Resist him, steadfast in the faith, knowing that the same sufferings are experienced by your brotherhood in the world. — 1 Peter 5:8-9 (NKJV) Stay clearheaded and alert so that you don’t end up in the snare of the enemy. The Devil is poised to pounce, and would like nothing better than to catch you napping (1 Peter 5:8, The Message). Resist him, standing strong in your faith. James 4:7 instructs us to submit to God. Resist the devil and he will flee from you. Our God is greater! Amen.

Be merciful and gracious to me, O God, be merciful and gracious to me, for my soul takes refuge and finds shelter and confidence in You; yes, in the shadow of Your wings will I take refuge and be confident until calamities and destructive storms are passed. I will cry to God Most High, Who performs on my behalf and rewards me [Who brings to pass His purposes for me and surely completes them]!  — Psalm 57:1-2 (AMP) Hide in the shadow of His wings and hold on through the storms. Anchor your hope in the Most High and you will remain steadfast and immovable. You can be sure that our gracious God will fulfill His purposes for you!

For the eyes of the LORD run to and fro throughout the whole earth, to show Himself strong on behalf of those whose heart is loyal to Him. — 2 Chronicles 16:9 (NKJV) A loyal heart has a consistent, deep devotion, that says, “I'm with you!” It is steadfast and immovable. When you are loyal to someone, you are willing to lay your life on the line for the other person. God is constantly looking for people whose hearts are totally committed to Him, so He can show Himself strong on their behalf. Let us serve Him with a loyal heart and with a mind that is willing to do it His way.

Restore us, Lord God Almighty; make your face shine on us, that we may be saved . — Psalm 80:19 (NIV) Our God is a God of restoration. He restores us to the joy of our salvation (Psalm 51:12). First Peter 5:10 says, after you have suffered a little while, He will restore you and make you strong, firm and steadfast. May the Lord make his face shine on you today and be gracious to you.
