God is Good!

Image
O taste and see that the LORD [our God] is good; How blessed [fortunate, prosperous, and favored by God] is the man who takes refuge in Him. — Psalm 34:8 (AMP) The LORD is good to all, and His tender mercies are over all His works. (Psalm 145:9 NKJV) For the LORD is good. His unfailing love continues forever, and his faithfulness continues to each generation. (Psalm 100:5 NLT) The LORD is good, a strong refuge when trouble comes. He is close to those who trust in him. (Nahum 1:7 NLT) And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose. (Romans 8:28 NKJV) God is good. And it is good for us to draw near to Him. For the LORD God is a sun and shield; The LORD will give grace and glory; No good thing will He withhold from those who walk uprightly. — Psalm 84:11 (NKJV)

What a God!

What a God we have! And how fortunate we are to have him, this Father of our Master Jesus! Because Jesus was raised from the dead, we’ve been given a brand-new life and have everything to live for, including a future in heaven—and the future starts now! — 1 Peter 1:3-4 (MSG) We are abundantly blessed because God is with us and He is for us. Thank God for the brand-new life we have in Christ. Praise Him for His breath of life in your lungs and the new mercies He poured out on you this morning. He has given us all things that pertain to life and godliness. We can shed what is left of the old, dead life and embrace what God is doing in our lives today. What He has planned for us is much better than anything we could ever think or imagine.

Blessed in Believing!

O Lord of hosts, blessed (happy, fortunate, to be envied) is the man who trusts in You [leaning and believing on You, committing all and confidently looking to You, and that without fear or misgiving]!   — Psalm 84:12 (AMP) Trust in the LORD and be totally committed to Him. Blessed are those who keep on believing that God is good and that He causes everything to work together for the good of those who love God and are called according to His purpose for them (Romans 8:28). No matter what contrary circumstances are in your midst, keep leaning on the LORD and confidently look to Him!
