Manna for Your Morning

This is the day which Yahweh has made; Let us rejoice and be glad in it. — Psalms 118:24 (LSB) “Do not be grieved, for the joy of Yahweh is your strength.” (See Nehemiah 8:10 LSB) In 2 Corinthians 7:4 (AMP), the Apostle Paul says: “I am overflowing with joy in spite of all our trouble.” We can choose joy in all circumstances, knowing that our heavenly Father is working for our good. For His anger is but for a moment, His favor is for a lifetime; Weeping may last for the night, but a shout of joy comes in the morning. (Psalms 30:5 NASB1995) Many are the sorrows of the wicked, but he who trusts in Yahweh, lovingkindness shall surround him. Be glad in Yahweh and rejoice, you righteous ones; And shout for joy, all you who are upright in heart. (Psalms 32:10-11 LSB) I will rejoice and be glad in Your lovingkindness, because You have seen my affliction; You have known the troubles of my soul, and You have not given me over into the hand of the enemy; You have set my feet in a large place. ...

Though the fig tree does not blossom
 and there is no fruit on the vines, 
though the yield of the olive fails 
and the fields produce no food,
 though the flock is cut off from the fold and there are no cattle in the stalls, yet I will [choose to] rejoice in the LORD;
 I will [choose to] shout in exultation in the [victorious] God of my salvation! — Habakkuk 3:17-18 (AMP) In the face of difficult circumstances, we can still choose to sing joyful praise to the Lord GOD. Habakkuk 3:19 (AMP), tells us why: He is our strength [our source of courage, our invincible army]; He has made our feet [steady and sure] like hinds’ feet and makes us walk [forward with spiritual confidence] on our high places [of challenge and responsibility]. Whatever need we have, He is our source. His supply is endless. And He is a generous and gracious God, slow to anger and abundant in lovingkindness and truth. He is a good and faithful Father, Who always takes care of His children. Amen.

Despite the state of affairs, personally, politically, socially, economically, etc. YAHWEH still reigns. Our great God is with us and He is the Source of all we need. Don’t be dejected and sad, for the joy of the LORD is your strength!” (See Nehemiah 8:10 NLT) Rejoice in the Lord always [delight, take pleasure in Him]; again I will say, rejoice! — Philippians 4:4 (AMP)

Because we always have the LORD, our God, with us, we always have reason to rejoice. You will make known to me the path of life; In Your presence is fullness of joy; In Your right hand there are pleasures forever. (Psalm 16:11 NASB) As we abide in the Presence of the LORD, we can experience fullness of joy. Today, choose JOY! Celebrate God all day, every day. I mean, revel in him! ( Philippians 4:4 MSG) So the ransomed of the LORD will return and come with joyful shouting to Zion, and everlasting joy will be on their heads. They will obtain gladness and joy, and sorrow and sighing will flee away. — Isaiah 51:11 (NASB)
