Manna for Your Morning

He has told you, O man, what is good; And what does Yahweh require of you but to do justice, to love lovingkindness, and to walk humbly with your God? — Micah 6:8 (LSB) Walk with God. Don’t run ahead of Him, or take that detour away from Him. Follow Him closely wherever He leads. Don’t delay and stay behind when He is calling you onward and upward. How do we do this? By humbling ourselves under the mighty hand of God. (See 1 Peter 5:6). When we are submitted to His will, we consistently choose to do what is right, and diligently practice kindness and compassion. To walk with Yahweh is to walk in love. “Love is patient and kind. Love is not jealous or boastful or proud or rude. It does not demand its own way. It is not irritable, and it keeps no record of being wronged.” (1 Corinthians 13:4-5 NLT)  My soul follows close behind You; Your right hand upholds me. — Psalms 63:8 (NKJV)

Finally, believers, rejoice! Be made complete [be what you should be], be comforted, be like-minded, live in peace [enjoy the spiritual well-being experienced by believers who walk closely with God]; and the God of love and peace [the source of lovingkindness] will be with you. — 2 Corinthians 13:11 (AMP) Let us walk closely with YAHWEH and have a continual conversation with Him as we go about our day. Genesis 6:9 (VOICE) says: … Noah was a good man, a right-living man, the best man of his generation; and he walked closely with God. The Amplified Bible says: Noah walked (lived) [in habitual fellowship] with God. Open your heart and mind to receive His gift of everlasting peace, a peace that surpasses human understanding. The enemy is a thief. Don’t let Him rob you of peace. As we walk closely to the Prince of Peace, we will have peace at all times, in every situation, and circumstance. Choose to trust God and believe His Word. It is the Good News. The LORD is close to all who call on him, yes, to all who call on him in truth. — Psalm 145:18 (NLT) The key to experiencing a successful, productive and prosperous life is to consistently walk closely with our heavenly Father. We were created for fellowship with Abba Father and His Son, Jesus Christ our Lord. Psalm 27:10 NLT says, even if my father and mother abandon me, the LORD will hold me close. Our hearts long for that fellowship and anything else we use as a substitute leaves us empty. When we wander away from Him, we are like sheep gone astray. We end up falling into ditches and dark places. We don’t have to go to any particular place to maintain a closer walk with Him, since our body is His temple. We maintain a close intimate relationship with Him by having a continual conversation as we go about our day and always giving thanks. We keep that connection with Him as we praise Him for all He is doing and worship Him for who He is.  Come close to God, and God will come...
