Nevertheless, keep watching! I will restore this city and heal the wounds of My people. I will lavish them with peace and stability. — Jeremiah 33:6 (VOICE) “But now take another look. I’m going to give this city a thorough renovation, working a true healing inside and out. I’m going to show them life whole, life brimming with blessings. I’ll restore everything that was lost to Judah and Jerusalem. I’ll build everything back as good as new. I’ll scrub them clean from the dirt they’ve done against me. I’ll forgive everything they’ve done wrong, forgive all their rebellions. (Jeremiah 33:6-8 MSG) Our heavenly Father is a God of restoration and renewal. He is faithful and righteous to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. (1 John 1:9)

Behold, I will bring it health and healing; I will heal them and reveal to them the abundance of peace and truth. — Jeremiah 33:6 (NKJV) God desires for His people to be healthy and whole, in every area of our lives. “For I will restore you to health and I will heal you of your wounds,” declares the LORD… (Jeremiah 30:17a NASB). He wants to show us peace and truth, so we can be set free by the truth and live in peace. Beloved, I pray that in every way you may succeed and prosper and be in good health [physically], just as [I know] your soul prospers [spiritually]. (3 John 2 AMP) Let us also seek the LORD for the healing of our land. “If My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land.” (2 Chronicles 7:14 NKJV)

Jesus said: “A man was going down from Jerusalem to Jericho, when he was attacked by robbers. They stripped him of his clothes, beat him and went away, leaving him half dead (Luke 10:30 NIV). First a priest and a Levite, a religious man passed by on the same road, and avoided the injured man. Then a Samaritan traveling the road came on him. When he saw the man’s condition, his heart went out to him. He gave him first aid, disinfecting and bandaging his wounds. Then he lifted him onto his donkey, led him to an inn, and made him comfortable. — Luke 10:33-35 MSG Does your heart go out to those in need? Many of us, in the busyness of our day, pass by those in need, physically and spiritually, everyday. May we have discernment and let our hearts engage with those in need. If we picture ourselves in the place of the man left half dead on the side of the road, it will be easier to extend a helping hand. The living, the living man, he shall praise You, as I do this day; The father shall make known Your truth to the children.  — Isaiah 38:19 (NKJV) Parents give your children full reports on God's faithfulness. Make known His truth to the broken hearted, for He heals the brokenhearted and bandages their wounds (Psalm 147:3). Make known His truth to those who are down and in despair, for the LORD, is a shield around us, our glory and the One who lifts our heads up high (Psalm 3:3). Make known His truth to those who are overwhelmed, because the LORD is our everlasting peace. Let everything that has breath praise the LORD!

I will meditate on the glorious splendor of Your majesty, and on Your wondrous works.  — Psalm 145:5 (NKJV) Our God is alive and active! The LORD upholds all who fall (Psalm 145:14). He executes justice for the oppressed, and gives food to the hungry. The LORD gives freedom to the prisoners and opens the eyes of the blind. The LORD raises those who are bowed down. He loves the righteous (Psalm 146:7-8). The LORD heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds (Psalm 147:3). Our heavenly Father  takes pleasure in His people; (Psalm 149:4) Marvelous are His works!

He sent His word and healed them, and delivered them from their destructions. Oh, that men would give thanks to the LORD for His goodness, and for His wonderful works to the children of men!  — Psalm 107:20-21 (NKJV) Don't claim your sickness. Claim your healing! God sent Jesus, the Living Word, and by His stripes we are healed (1 Peter 2:24).  Proverbs 4:21-22 instructs us to pay attention to the words of wisdom because they are life to those who find them and they heal the whole body. Jesus is the Great Physician, His Words are wisdom. He heals ALL our diseases (Psalm 103:3)! In Jeremiah 30:17, the LORD says, ‘I will restore health to you and heal you of your wounds.’ Praise the Lord for His wonderful works!

This is the kind of life you've been invited into, the kind of life Christ lived. He suffered everything that came his way so you would know that it could be done, and also know how to do it, step-by-step. He never did one thing wrong, Not once said anything amiss. They called him every name in the book and he said nothing back. He suffered in silence, content to let God set things right. He used his servant body to carry our sins to the Cross so we could be rid of sin, free to live the right way. His wounds became your healing. 1 Peter 2:21-24 (The Message) Let us follow in the footsteps of Jesus. He is our example. He endured everything that came His way. He was content to let God make things right. He didn't speak a word outside of the Father's will. He bore our sins in His body on the cross and set us free from sin. We are free to live the right way, a life of righteousness, peace and wholeness. By His wounds we are healed.
