“Whom Do You seek?”

Image
But he said to them, “Do not be alarmed. You seek Jesus of Nazareth, who was crucified. He is risen! He is not here. See the place where they laid Him.” — Mark 16:6 (NKJV) When the Sabbath was past, Mary Magdalene, Mary the mother of James, and Salome bought spices, that they might come and anoint Yeshua, very early in the morning, on the first day of the week. (See Mark 16:1-2) Whom do you seek? The most beneficial and advantageous activity we can engage in is to wholeheartedly seek Yeshua, the King of kings and the Lord of lords. “Behold! He is The Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world! (See John 1:29) He is indeed the Messiah (which translated means Christ). (See John 1:41). “And we have seen and testify that the Father has sent the Son as Savior of the world. Whoever confesses that Jesus is the Son of God, God abides in him, and he in God.” (1 John 4:14-15 NKJV) And 1 John 5:4 (AMP) says: …everyone born of God is victorious and overcomes the world; and this is the victo...

Be Aware

Image
And she said, “The Philistines are upon you, Samson!” And he awoke from his sleep and said, “I will go out as at other times and shake myself free.” But he did not know that Yahweh had left him. — Judges 16:20 (LSB) Samson did not realize that Yahweh had left him. What a sad situation. After being lulled to sleep with his head in the lap of Delilah, and having the seven locks of his hair shaved off, Delilah began to bring him down, and his strength left him. (See Judges 16:19) Today, we have the Holy Spirit of God dwelling inside of us and He promises to never leave us or forsake us. In Matthew 28:20 (NKJV), Yeshua says: “…and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” Intentionally set your heart and your soul to seek the LORD our God. Seek Him, and you will find Him when you search for Him with all your heart. (See Jeremiah 29:13 NASB1995) Don’t let the things of this world, distract you and draw you away from Yahweh. Remain alert and aware of Satan and his devices.

Worship the LORD

Image
Give unto the LORD, O you mighty ones, Give unto the LORD glory and strength. Give unto the LORD the glory due to His name; Worship the LORD in the beauty of holiness. — Psalm 29:1-2 (NKJV) O LORD, our Lord, how majestic is Your name in all the earth, Who have displayed Your splendor above the heavens! (Psalm 8:1 NASB1995) I will give thanks to Yahweh with all my heart; I will recount all Your wondrous deeds. I will be glad and exult in You; I will sing praise to Your name, O Most High. (Psalm 9:1-2 LSB) And those who know Your name [who have experienced Your precious mercy] will put their confident trust in You, for You, O LORD, have not abandoned those who seek You. (Psalm 9:10 AMP) Rely on the Most High God. He will never leave you nor forsake you.

Light into the World

Image
“I have come as Light into the world, so that everyone who believes and trusts in Me [as Savior—all those who anchor their hope in Me and rely on the truth of My message] will not continue to live in darkness.” — John 12:46 (AMP) The LORD is our light and our salvation. Have no fear. (See Psalm 27:1) Rely on and have confidence in the truth of God's Word. In Luke 2:32 (NLT), Simeon said: Jesus is a light to reveal God to the nations, and he is the glory of your people Israel!” Isaiah 42:6 says: He will be a light to guide the nations. A light shows us the way to go and also reveals things we need to avoid. We were formerly in the darkness, but now we are Light in the Lord. Therefore, let us lay aside the deeds of darkness, and continually walk in the light of the Lord. “ Arise, shine; for your light has come, and the glory of the LORD has risen upon you. “For behold, darkness will cover the earth and deep darkness the peoples; But the LORD will rise upon you and His glory will appe...

Wait Patiently

Image
I waited and waited and waited some more, patiently, knowing God would come through for me. Then, at last, he bent down and listened to my cry. He stooped down to lift me out of danger from the desolate pit I was in, out of the muddy mess I had fallen into. Now he’s lifted me up into a firm, secure place and steadied me while I walk along his ascending path. — Psalms 40:1-2 (TPT) Wait patiently and full of expectation, knowing that our great God will come through for you. In due time your mess, will become your message. He will turn your mourning into joyful dancing. He will take away your clothes of mourning and clothe you with joy, that you may sing praises to Him and not be silent. O LORD my God, I will give you thanks forever! (See Psalm 30:11-12 NLT) Exalt the LORD, for He rescues you. He refuses to let your enemies triumph over you. (See Psalm 30:1 NLT) He redeems your life from destruction, and crowns you with lovingkindness and tender mercies. (See Psalm 103:4 NKJV) Oh, the joy...

Press On

Image
“ Do not call to mind the former things, or consider things of the past. Behold, I am going to do something new, now it will spring up; Will you not be aware of it? I will even make a roadway in the wilderness, rivers in the desert. ” — Isaiah 43:18-19 (NASB) Don’t let the disappointments and failures of yesterday keep you from the fruitfulness of today. Brothers and sisters, I do not regard myself as having taken hold of it yet; but one thing I do: forgetting what lies behind and reaching forward to what lies ahead, I press on toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus. (Philippians 3:13-14 NASB)
