Manna for Your Morning

…that you may love the LORD your God, that you may obey His voice, and that you may cling to Him, for He is your life and the length of your days; — Deuteronomy 30:20a (NKJV) The New Living Bible says, this is the key to your life: …loving the LORD your God, obeying him, and committing yourself firmly to him. The Amplified says, He is your life [your good life, your abundant life, your fulfillment]. May we cling to the LORD and let nothing come in between us and Him. Just as iron is drawn to a magnet, may we stick with God. But as for me, how good it is to be near God! (Psalm 73:28a NLT)

He will be the sure foundation for your times, a rich store of salvation and wisdom and knowledge; the fear of the LORD is the key to this treasure. — Isaiah 33:6 (NIV) When the storms of life come, the wicked are whirled away, but the godly have a lasting foundation (Proverbs 10:25 NLT). The LORD is the sure foundation for our times. Let us build our lives upon Him and utilize the resources He abundantly provides for us: a rich store of salvation, wisdom and knowledge. Whatever we build in Him will last forever, and not be shaken. He is the sure foundation that will last throughout all generations. Amen!

The one who is holy, who is true, who has the key of David, who opens a door that no one can shut, and who shuts a door that no one can open, says: I know what you have done. See, I have opened a door in front of you that no one can shut.  — Revelation 3:7-8 (GW) Sometimes we are so focused on the closed doors that we spend all our time and energy trying to force them open. May God give us the wisdom to know when to move beyond the closed doors and to always look for the open doors in our lives. It is the open doors that lead to new opportunities, and to the greater things He wants to do in our lives.
