Worship Yahweh

Image
And one called out to another and said, “Holy, Holy, Holy, is Yahweh of hosts; The whole earth is full of His glory.” — Isaiah 61:3 (LSB) Ascribe to the LORD the glory due His name; Worship the LORD in the beauty and majesty of His holiness [as the creator and source of holiness]. (Psalms 29:2 AMP) For as the heavens are high above the earth, so great is His lovingkindness toward those who fear and worship Him [with awe-filled respect and deepest reverence]. (Psalms 103:11 AMP) Exalt the LORD our God and worship at His footstool; Holy is He. (Psalms 99:5 NASB1995) He is the only One we are to worship. We are to worship Him not only with our words, but also in our behavior, and with a genuine heart. In addition, we worship Him with our minds by having thoughts that honor and give Him glory. Yahweh sat enthroned over the flood; Indeed, Yahweh sits as King forever. Yahweh will give strength to His people; Yahweh will bless His people with peace. (Psalms 29:10-11 LSB) All the ends of the ...

Gain New Strength

Image
But those who wait for the LORD [who expect, look for, and hope in Him] will gain new strength and renew their power; They will lift up their wings [and rise up close to God] like eagles [rising toward the sun]; They will run and not become weary, they will walk and not grow tired. — Isaiah 40:31 (AMP) Gain new strength as you draw near to Yahweh and be still in His Presence. Pour out your petitions to Him and wait expectantly for His answer. Our mighty God is able. He will establish and strengthen you. In Isaiah 41:10 (AMP), the LORD says: ’Do not fear [anything], for I am with you; Do not be afraid, for I am your God. I will strengthen you, be assured I will help you; I will certainly take hold of you with My righteous right hand [a hand of justice, of power, of victory, of salvation].’  May He grant you out of the riches of His glory, to be strengthened and spiritually energized with power through His Spirit in your inner self, [indwelling your innermost being and personality] ...

Never Abandoned

Image
We are pressed on every side by troubles, but we are not crushed. We are perplexed, but not driven to despair. We are hunted down, but never abandoned by God. We get knocked down, but we are not destroyed. — 2 Corinthians 4:8-9 (NLT) Just as the mountains surround Jerusalem, so the LORD surrounds his people, both now and forever. (Psalm 125:2 NLT) He surrounds us with songs of victory. (See Psalm 32:7) Even if your father and mother abandon you, the LORD will hold you close. (See Psalm 27:10 NLT) Yahweh will never leave you, nor forsake you. Have patient perseverance and He will deliver you out of all trouble. The LORD will work out his plans for my life— for your faithful love, O LORD, endures forever. Don’t abandon me, for you made me. — Psalm 138:8 (NLT)

Choose the Good Part

Image
But the Lord answered and said to her, “Martha, Martha, you are worried and bothered about so many things; but only one thing is necessary, for Mary has chosen the good part, which shall not be taken away from her.” — Luke 10:41-42 (NASB1995) Luke 10:40 says, Martha was distracted with all her preparations. Have you let earthly concerns distract you from sitting at the Lord’s feet and listening to His Word? Instead of being anxious and upset, prepare your heart and mind to be still and listen to the Lord and enjoy His Presence, every day. If you are worried and bothered about so many things, cast all your cares on the Lord and let His Spirit guide you through this day. Trust God. Whatever He has purposed for you to accomplish today has already been written in His Book. Therefore, the time to do it has already been allotted. Choose the good part, to sit at His feet (humility) and actively listen (be attentive) to His still small voice. In Luke 10:40 Martha asked: “ Lord, do You not car...

Need Help?

Image
I look up to the mountains— does my help come from there? My help comes from the LORD, who made heaven and earth! He will not let you stumble; the one who watches over you will not slumber. — Psalm 121:1-3 (NLT) The LORD hears his people when they call to him for help. He rescues them from all their troubles. (Psalm 34:17 NLT) The LORD is my strength and shield. I trust him with all my heart. He helps me, and my heart is filled with joy. I burst out in songs of thanksgiving. (Psalm 28:7 NLT) Those who look to him for help will be radiant with joy; no shadow of shame will darken their faces. (Psalm 34:5 NLT) Put your hope in the LORD. He is our help and our shield. (See Psalm 33:20 NLT) Commit everything you do to the LORD. Trust him, and he will help you. (Psalm 37:5 NLT)
