These two things are unchangeable because it is impossible for God to lie. Therefore, we who have fled to him for refuge can have great confidence as we hold to the hope that lies before us. This hope is a strong and trustworthy anchor for our souls. God’s Word stands forever. He watches over His Word, and it does not return to Him void. He is faithful to fulfill every word He has spoken. Here a just a few encouraging Scriptures:   God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. (Psalm 46:1 NASB1995) This assures us that no matter what we go through, our great God is with us. In Isaiah 43:2 (NLT), He says: “When you go through deep waters, I will be with you. When you go through rivers of difficulty, you will not drown. Let us be encouraged as the gracious hand of the LORD our God is also upon us. He surrounds us on all sides. (Psalm 125:2). God’s Holy Spirit resides in us and enables us to live the life He has designed for us, so we can fulfill His purpose upon the earth. Be strengthened and courageous to engage in the work He has called you to. The LORD will guide you continually, giving you water when you are dry and restoring your strength (Isaiah 58:11 NLT).

  Do all things without complaining and disputing, — Philippians 2:14 (NKJV) Your words are seeds that germinate in the soil of your heart. They will either produce life or death. Proverbs 18:21 says, death and life are in the power of the tongue, and those who love it will eat its fruit. When you criticize, complain, bicker, and engage in faultfinding, your words produce poisonous weeds that will choke the life out of the hearer. May we speak positive, uplifting praiseworthy words of encouragement over our lives and into the lives of others. Then the garden of our hearts will thrive and produce a harvest full of life, strength and beauty.

For whatever things were written before were written for our learning, that we through the patience and comfort of the Scriptures might have hope. — Romans 15:4 (NKJV) The Scriptures, even though inscribed long ago, were written for us. They were written to give us hope and encouragement. In the Word, we can see the faithfulness of God. We see that even though God’s people endured and persevered through all kinds of difficult situations, God faithfully brought them through and gave them double for their troubles, many times over. Let us heed the words of Joshua 1:8 and never let the Book depart from our mouths, and consistently meditate in it day and night, so that we may observe to do according to all that is written in it. Then we will make our way prosperous, and then we will have good success and a living hope.

God our Father loved us and by his kindness gave us everlasting encouragement and good hope. Together with our Lord Jesus Christ, may he encourage and strengthen you to do and say everything that is good. 2 Thessalonians 2:16-17 (God's Word) The lovingkindness of our heavenly Father gives us everlasting encouragement and ignites our hope. We know the LORD has wonderful plans for us, and He will do infinitely more than we can ask or imagine (Ephesians 3:20). May God supply the strength you need to consistently do and say that which is good.
