Manna for Your Morning

The LORD says, “I will guide you along the best pathway for your life. I will advise you and watch over you. Do not be like a senseless horse or mule that needs a bit and bridle to keep it under control.” — Psalms 32:8-9 (NLT) Psalms 23:3 (NASB1995) says, He guides us in the paths of righteousness for His name’s sake. And His Spirit will guide us into all truth. (See John 16:13)  Wherever Yahweh directs us to go, we can be certain that it is the best pathway for our lives. In Jeremiahs 29:11 He says: “For I know the plans and thoughts that I have for you,’ says the LORD, ‘plans for peace and well-being and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope.” Only He knows the plans, let us be obedient and follow the plan as He reveals it to us. The Father knows best. Nevertheless I am continually with You; You have taken hold of my right hand. With Your counsel You will guide me, and afterward receive me to glory. — Psalms 73:23-24 (NASB1995)

And Moses said to him, “As soon as I go out of the city, I will spread out my hands to Yahweh; the thunder will cease, and there will be hail no longer, that you may know that the earth is Yahweh’s. But as for you and your servants, I know that you do not yet fear Yahweh God.” — Exodus 9:29-30 (LSB) The [reverent] fear of the LORD [that is, worshiping Him and regarding Him as truly awesome] is the beginning and the preeminent part of knowledge (See Proverbs 1:7 AMP) “When I had nothing, desperate and defeated, I cried out to the Lord and he heard me, bringing his miracle-deliverance when I needed it most. The angel of Yahweh stooped down to listen as I prayed, encircling me, empowering me, and showing me how to escape. He will do this for everyone who fears God.” (Psalms 34:6-7 TPT) 

The LORD is my strength and my [impenetrable] shield; My heart trusts [with unwavering confidence] in Him, and I am helped; Therefore my heart greatly rejoices, and with my song I shall thank Him and praise Him. — Psalm 28:7 (AMP) The LORD gives his people strength. The LORD blesses them with peace. (Psalm 29:11 NLT) He arms us with strength for the battle… (See Psalm 18:39 NLT) Seek the LORD and His strength; Seek His face continually. (Psalm 105:4 NASB1995) The LORD is a shield to those who walk in integrity, guarding the paths of justice,
 and He preserves the way of His godly ones.(See Proverbs 2:7-8 NASB1995) God is a shield to those who take refuge in Him. (See Proverbs 30:5 NASB1995) “ You will be the inner strength of all your people, YAHWEH, the mighty protector of all, and the saving strength for all your anointed ones. ” — Psalms 28:8 (TPT)

The LORD is my strength and shield. I trust him with all my heart. He helps me, and my heart is filled with joy. I burst out in songs of thanksgiving. — Psalm 28:7 (NLT) YAHWEH is our source of strength and He is a shield of protection. Do not rely on your own power, God’s weakness is stronger than the greatest of human strength. (See 1 Corinthians 1:25 NLT) I pray that you will be strengthened with all his glorious power so you will have all the endurance and patience you need. May you be filled with joy, always thanking the Father. ( See Colossians 1:11-12 NLT) But you, O LORD, are a shield around me; you are my glory, the one who holds my head high. (Psalm 3:3 NLT) The LORD is my rock, my fortress, and my savior; my God is my rock, in whom I find protection. He is my shield, the power that saves me, and my place of safety. (Psalm 18:2 NLT) He is a shield to all who take refuge in Him. (See Psalm 18:30 NASB1995) YAHWEH has given us His shield of victory. His right hand supports us; ...

...you are a chosen people. You are royal priests, a holy nation, God’s very own possession. As a result, you can show others the goodness of God, for he called you out of the darkness into his wonderful light. — 1 Peter 2:9 (NLT) Our great and glorious God called us out of darkness, out of sin and the snare of the enemy. Just as He called us out of dark things, He also called us into something even better. He called us out of death, into life, everlasting life and a more abundant life. He called us into His marvelous light and lavish unconditional love. Even before He laid the foundation of the universe, God loved us and chose us in Christ to be holy and without fault in his eyes. We are called into His family. God decided in advance to adopt us into His own family by bringing us to Himself through our union with Jesus, the Anointed One. (See Ephesians 1:4-5) He also called us into His Kingdom of righteousness, peace and joy. (See Romans 14:17) But you are the ones chosen by God, ...

For not one of us lives for himself, and not one dies for himself; for if we live, we live for the Lord, or if we die, we die for the Lord; therefore whether we live or die, we are the Lord’s. — Romans 14:7-8 (NASB) Don’t you realize that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit, who lives in you and was given to you by God? You do not belong to yourself, for God bought you with a high price. So you must honor God with your body. (1 Corinthians 6:19-20 NLT) May we live to honor the Lord and bring glory to His Kingdom. Let every activity of your lives and every word that comes from your lips be drenched with the beauty of our Lord Jesus, the Anointed One. And bring your constant praise to God the Father because of what Christ has done for you! (Colossians 3:17 TPT) The Amplified Bibles says, do everything in the name of the Lord Jesus [ and in dependence on Him ]… (Colossians 3:17b)

Their purpose is to teach people to live disciplined and successful lives, to help them do what is right, just, and fair. — Proverbs 1:3 (NLT) Having a disciplined life goes along with living a successful life. Exercising discipline helps us to stay focused. Let us be disciplined to read and meditate on the Word of God, day and night, so that we may be careful to do everything that is written in it. Then we will make our way prosperous, and then we will be successful. Do not deviate from the Word, turning either to the right or to the left. Then you will be successful in everything you do. (see Joshua 1:7-8) Open my eyes to see the wonderful truths in your instructions. ( Psalm 119:18 NLT ) Truth’s shining light guides me in my choices and decisions; the revelation of your word makes my pathway clear.   ( Psalm 119:105  TPT)

But he took our suffering on him and felt our pain for us. We saw his suffering and thought God was punishing him.  But he was wounded for the wrong we did; he was crushed for the evil we did. The punishment, which made us well, was given to him, and we are healed because of his wounds. — Isaiah 53:4-5 (NCV) Jesus carried our pains. He was crushed for our sins and wrongdoing. He was pierced for our rebellion. Christ has rescued us from the curse pronounced by the law. When he was hung on the cross, he took upon himself the curse for our wrongdoing. (Galatians 3:13a NLT) There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, who do not walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit. (Romans 8:1 NKJV) We have been rescued from sin and death. Let us walk according to the Spirit and live well and healed.

…casting all your cares [all your anxieties, all your worries, and all your concerns, once and for all] on Him, for He cares about you [with deepest affection, and watches over you very carefully]. — 1 Peter 5:7 (AMP) Instead of concentrating on our to-do list, let us cast all our cares upon our heavenly Father and draw near to Him. It's more important for us to remember our to-be list. God is love. If we want to be like Him, we are to be love. Whatever we do, may we do it in love. When people come at us the wrong way, may we continue to be love. His perfect love working in us produces joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, and gentleness. Worry, on the other hand, produces anxiety, frustration, and fear. Our mighty God is able to handle all your concerns. Trust Him.

The LORD is close to all who call on him, yes, to all who call on him in truth. — Psalm 145:18 (NLT) The key to experiencing a successful, productive and prosperous life is to consistently walk closely with our heavenly Father. We were created for fellowship with Abba Father and His Son, Jesus Christ our Lord. Psalm 27:10 NLT says, even if my father and mother abandon me, the LORD will hold me close. Our hearts long for that fellowship and anything else we use as a substitute leaves us empty. When we wander away from Him, we are like sheep gone astray. We end up falling into ditches and dark places. We don’t have to go to any particular place to maintain a closer walk with Him, since our body is His temple. We maintain a close intimate relationship with Him by having a continual conversation as we go about our day and always giving thanks. We keep that connection with Him as we praise Him for all He is doing and worship Him for who He is.  Come close to God, and God will come...

God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Therefore we will not fear, even though the earth be removed, and though the mountains be carried into the midst of the sea; Though its waters roar and be troubled, though the mountains shake with its swelling. Selah — Psalm 46:1-3 (NKJV) Even when it seems, our world is falling apart, our God is a very present help. He is always ready to help in times of trouble. He gives power to the weak, and to those who have no might He increases strength. (Isaiah 40:29). Trust in Him at all times, you people; Pour out your heart before Him; God is a refuge for us (Psalm 62:8), a safe shelter in the storm.

You, LORD, keep my lamp burning; my God turns my darkness into light. With your help I can advance against a troop; with my God I can scale a wall. — Psalm 18:28-29 (NIV) Even in darkness light dawns for the upright, for those who are gracious and compassionate and righteous (Psalm 112:4 NIV). On your darkest day, the light of the LORD will arise. When we fall, we will arise; when we sit in darkness, the LORD will be a light to us (Micah 7:8). Praise God!

And I will dwell among the Israelites and be their God. And they shall know [from personal experience] that I am the Lord their God, Who brought them forth out of the land of Egypt that I might dwell among them; I am the Lord their God . — Exodus 29:45-46 (AMP) Just as God dwelt among the Israelites, He still dwells in the midst of His people today. We are to know our God through personal experience. And know that He is great! With our mighty God on our side, who or what can stand against us? He brings us out of whatever tries to hold us captive. Be strong and of good courage. For I know that the LORD is great, and our Lord is above all gods! (Psalm 135:5)

Through wisdom a house is built, and by understanding it is established;  — Proverbs 24:3 (NKJV) It takes wisdom to build a house on the firm foundation of Jesus Christ. He is the Chief Cornerstone (1 Peter 2:6). We have to dig deep into the Word of God and gain understanding, then we are able to establish our house on the solid rock of Christ (1 Corinthians 10:4). And when the storms of life come, the floodwaters beat vehemently against the house, but it stands firm because it is well built. The house will not crumble or be washed away because it has a good, strong foundation (Luke 6:48).

Jesus said, “Come!” So Peter got out of the boat and walked on the water toward Jesus. But when he noticed how strong the wind was, he became afraid and started to sink. He shouted, “Lord, save me!”     — Matthew 14:29-30 (GW) Jesus calls us out of the boat, out of our normal ways of doing things. He calls us out to do EXTRAORDINARY things. Keep your eyes on Jesus. Don't allow yourself to get distracted by the circumstances. Once Peter looked at the adverse circumstances, he began to sink. Get out of the boat! God has wonderful plans for you. For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future (Jeremiah 29:11).

But, Lord, you are my shield, my wonderful God who gives me courage. I will pray to the Lord, and he will answer me from his holy mountain. Selah Psalm 3:3-4 (NCV) The LORD, our God surrounds us like a protective shield. He has us covered on every side. So we can be strong and courageous as we fight the good fight of faith. Our heavenly Father will supply all that we need to fulfill our mission, and when we pray, He will answer. Amen.

Be prepared. You're up against far more than you can handle on your own. Take all the help you can get, every weapon God has issued, so that when it's all over but the shouting you'll still be on your feet. Truth, righteousness, peace, faith, and salvation are more than words. Learn how to apply them. You'll need them throughout your life. God's Word is an indispensable weapon. In the same way, prayer is essential in this ongoing warfare. Pray hard and long. Pray for your brothers and sisters. Keep your eyes open. Keep each other's spirits up so that no one falls behind or drops out. Ephesians 6:13-18 (The Message) If we are going to stand firm throughout the battles of life we must put on every piece of God’s armor. Buckle the belt of truth around your waist, put on the breastplate of righteousness. For shoes, put on the peace that comes from the Good News. We must also hold up the shield of faith to extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one. Put ...

"The fire on the altar must be kept burning; it must not go out."  — Leviticus 6:12 (NIV) The Old Testament priests were instructed to keep the fire burning. In 1 Thessalonians 5:19, the Apostle Paul instructs believers not to put out the Spirit's fire. In order to keep the fire of the Holy Spirit dwelling within us burning brightly, we are to continually offer ourselves to God as living sacrifices, laying our hearts on His altar. As we crucify the sinful nature and let our minds be controlled by what the Spirit desires, the fire of the Holy Spirit will blaze in our hearts (Romans 8:5). Love, Jesus
