Blessed is he whose transgression is forgiven, whose sin is covered. — Psalms 32:1 (NKJV) Not a single person on earth is always good and never sins. (Ecclesiastes 7:20 NLT) “But I did find this: God created people to be virtuous, but they have each turned to follow their own downward path.” (Ecclesiastes 7:29) “God overlooked people’s ignorance about these things in earlier times, but now he commands everyone everywhere to repent of their sins and turn to him. (Acts 17:30 NLT) Now repent of your sins and turn to God, so that your sins may be wiped away. (Acts 3:19 NLT)  We are made right with God by placing our faith in Jesus Christ. And this is true for everyone who believes, no matter who we are. For everyone has sinned; we all fall short of God’s glorious standard. Yet God, in his grace, freely makes us right in his sight. He did this through Christ Jesus when he freed us from the penalty for our sins. (Romans 3:22-24 NLT)

Visible Faith

And some men were carrying on a bed a man who was paralyzed; and they were trying to bring him in and to set him down in front of Him. But not finding any way to bring him in because of the crowd, they went up on the roof and let him down through the tiles with his stretcher, into the middle of the crowd, in front of Jesus. Seeing their faith, He said, “Friend, your sins are forgiven you.” — Luke 5:18-20 (NASB) These men had the kind of faith, Jesus could see. And because of their faith, the paralytic received his healing, and went home glorifying God (Luke 5:25). Do you have the visible kind of faith that finds a way to get others in front of Jesus? Let us have the type of faith that displays compassion and kindness, the quality of faith that demonstrates care and concern for those in need.
