But this thing I did command them: ‘Listen to and obey My voice, and I will be your God, and you shall be My people; and you will walk in all the way which I command you, so that it may be well with you.’ — Jeremiah 7:23 (AMP) The plans and thoughts God has toward us are good. He wants us to prosper in every area of our lives, to be healed, whole, growing and fruitful. First Timothy 6:17 (NKJV) tells us not to trust in uncertain riches but in the living God, who gives us richly all things to enjoy. For Yahweh God is a sun and shield; Yahweh gives grace and glory; No good thing does He withhold from those who walk blamelessly. (Psalms 84:11 LSB) However, Jeremiah 5:28 says, our sins have withheld good from us. “Truly, these times of ignorance God overlooked, but now commands all men everywhere to repent, because He has appointed a day on which He will judge the world in righteousness by the Man whom He has ordained. He has given assurance of this to all by raising Him from the dead.” (...

The LORD is good, a strong refuge when trouble comes. He is close to those who trust in him. — Nahum 1:7 (NLT) Trust God from the bottom of your heart; don’t try to figure out everything on your own. Listen for God’s voice in everything you do, everywhere you go; he’s the one who will keep you on track. Don’t assume that you know it all. Run to God! Run from evil! Your body will glow with health, your very bones will vibrate with life! (Proverbs 3:5-8 MSG) Do not rely on your own understanding, nor the opinions of our current culture. Totally Trust in the Lord. He is our Helper, our Healer, our Provider our Protector, etc.

Listen for God’s voice in everything you do, everywhere you go; he’s the one who will keep you on track. — Proverbs 3:5-6 (MSG) Ecclesiastes 3:1 (MSG) says, “There’s an opportune time to do things, a right time for everything on the earth…” Instead of cluttering up today with worry about tomorrow or regrets of the past, listen for God’s voice and follow His guidance for today. Each day has enough trouble of its own. (Matthew 6:34b) “ I have told you these things so that you will be whole and at peace. In this world, you will be plagued with times of trouble, but you need not fear; I have triumphed over this corrupt world order. ” — John 16:33 (VOICE)

Don’t assume that you know it all. — Proverbs 3:5-7 (MSG) We are so prone to want to do things our own way, but even Jesus said, “ Truly I tell you, the Son is not able to do anything on his own, but only what he sees the Father doing. ” (John 5:19 CSB) Listen for God’s voice in all you do and let His Word speak to your heart. For His ways are higher than our ways, and His thoughts higher than our thoughts. (Isaiah 55:9) Reject any thoughts or words spoken to you that do not line up with the Word of God. The Word that goes forth from God's mouth will not return to Him void. It will accomplish what He desires. It will do the work He sent it to do. (Isaiah 55:11). Amen!

Listen for God’s voice in everything you do, everywhere you go; he’s the one who will keep you on track. — Proverbs 3:6 (MSG) There are many voices clamoring for your attention, but make sure you listen for God’s voice and follow it. Listening to the wrong voices will cause you take detours off of the path of life and you will end up on a dead end road. Paying attention to God's voice will keep you on the right track. Seek his will in all you do, and he will show you which path to take. (Proverbs 3:6  NLT) Trust in the Lord completely, and do not rely on your own opinions. With all your heart rely on him to guide you, and he will lead you in every decision you make. (Proverbs 3:5 TPT)

He who has ears to hear, let him hear and heed My words. — Matthew 11:15 (AMP) God has given us ears to hear and eyes to see. (Proverb 20:12) In the course of a day, we are bombarded with so many voices. In order to hear God's voice we need to turn a deaf ear to the voices of the world and tune our ears to His still small voice. The voice of the LORD is powerful; the voice of the LORD is full of majesty. (Psalm 29:4) Let the voice of the LORD override all the other voices you allow to fill your head. Listen for God’s voice in everything you do, everywhere you go; he’s the one who will keep you on track. (Proverbs 3:6 MSG) … for he is our God. We are the people he watches over, the flock under his care. If only you would listen to his voice today! (Psalm 95:7 NLT)

His voice is more powerful than any other voice. His voice carries more weight than what the doctor says. What God says about you is more significant than the negative words people say about you. Hearing God's voice and doing what He instructs will keep you on the right track. The voice of the LORDis over the waters; The God of glory thunders; The LORD is over many waters. The voice of the LORD is powerful; The voice of the LORD is full of majesty. (Psalm 29:3-5 NKJV)

Nevertheless I am continually with You; You hold me by my right hand. You will guide me with Your counsel, and afterward receive me to glory. — Psalm 73:23-24 (NKJV) The Message Bible says: “ You wisely and tenderly lead me, and then you bless me. ” (Psalm 73:24). God does not force us against our will. He is gentle and compassionate. He speaks to us and patiently waits for us to listen and follow His wise counsel. Your ears shall hear a word behind you, saying, “This is the way, walk in it,” Whenever you turn to the right hand or whenever you turn to the left (Isaiah 30:21). My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me. (John 10:27). When we sync our steps with the LORD, we can walk in peace and confidence, knowing that He will never lead us astray.

The LORD came and stood there, calling as at the other times, “Samuel! Samuel!” Then Samuel said, “Speak, for your servant is listening.” — 1 Samuel 3:10 (NIV) The first three times the LORD called Samuel, he did not know it was the LORD. As men and women of God, it is imperative that we learn how to listen for God’s voice. This may involve turning a deaf ear to the negative voices you don't need to hear. Instead of listening to the doom and gloom reports of this world, listen for the glorious voice of our great God. His voice will always line up with His Word and the good plans He has for you. God is constantly speaking to each one of us. Listen for His voice today and respond to His call. “ The sheep that are My own hear My voice and listen to Me; I know them, and they follow Me. ” (John 10:27 AMP)

Don’t assume that you know it all. — Proverbs 3:5-7 (MSG) God will keep us on track to fulfilling the wonderful plans He has for us. He didn’t just save us to sit and warm the pew of a church. Like the children of Israel, He brought us out to take us to a better place, and for us to bring others along too. Believers are to be a active participants and follow God wherever He leads us, through the prompting of His Holy Spirit within us. Listen for His voice today and follow His instruction.  

Then he said, ‘The God of our fathers has chosen you that you should know His will, and see the Just One, and hear the voice of His mouth. — Acts 22:14 (NKJV) God chose us in Him before the foundation of the world, (Ephesians 1:4). He has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ (Ephesians 1:3). God chose you and accepted you into His family. See what great love the Father has lavished on us, that we should be called children of God! (1 John 3:1 NIV). Because of the LORD’s great love we are not consumed, for his compassions never fail. They are new every morning; (Lamentations 3:22-23 NIV). Open your heart to receive God's love, and listen to His still small voice as He speaks of His wonderful promises and plans for your life.

“Therefore, in the present case I advise you: Leave these men alone! Let them go! For if their purpose or activity is of human origin, it will fail. But if it is from God, you will not be able to stop these men; you will only find yourselves fighting against God.” — Acts 5:38-39 (NIV) When we run off and do our own thing, we run the risk of working against our heavenly Father. The young lions lack food and suffer hunger, but they who seek (inquire of and require) the Lord [by right of their need and on the authority of His Word], none of them shall lack any beneficial thing. — Psalm 34:10 (AMP) Continually seek the LORD, and you shall not lack any good thing. Inquire of His will and do things His way. Do not rely on your own insight or understanding (Proverbs 3:5b AMP). Listen for God’s voice in everything you do, everywhere you go; he’s the one who will keep you on track. Don’t assume that you know it all. Run to God!  (Proverbs 3:6-7a MSG)

Then the LORD answered Job out of the whirlwind, — Job 38:1 (NKJV) In the midst of Job’s suffering: loss of material possessions, poor physical health, marital discord and grieving for his children, the LORD spoke to him. In the midst of your storm, listen carefully for God's voice. When we call upon Him, He will answer. The LORD has His way in the whirlwind and in the storm, (Nahum 1:3). No storm is too great for our mighty God!

Are you listening? I will climb up to my watchtower and stand at my guardpost. There I will wait to see what the LORD says and how he will answer my complaint. — Habakkuk 2:1 (NLT) Have you ever had someone ask you and question and then not listen for the answer? Sometimes we pour out our questions to God and never listen for His reply. There is a lot of noise in the world. We have to be careful whose voice we choose to listen to. May we drown out the meaningless chatter and listen intently for His voice. The Holy Spirit is always speaking to us. Just like we program our favorite radio station for easy access, we have to stay tuned in to His still small voice to receive His wise counsel and guidance.

(Proverbs 16:9) In the coming year, may we listen for God’s voice and follow through with the action He is calling us to take. Not our will, but His be done. For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are His ways higher than our ways, and His thoughts than our thoughts (Isaiah 55:9).
