For the joy that was set before Him, He endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God. (See Hebrews 12:2 AMP/NKJV)  For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh and the lust of the eyes and the boastful pride of life, is not from the Father, but is from the world. (1 John 2:16NASB) May your eyes be continually toward the Lord. To You I have raised my eyes, You who are enthroned in the heavens! — Psalm 123:1 (NASB)

Though our bodies are dying, our spirits are being renewed every day. For our present troubles are small and won’t last very long. Do not yield to fear, for I am always near. Never turn your gaze from me, for I am your faithful God. I will infuse you with my strength and help you in every situation. I will hold you firmly with my victorious right hand.’ — Isaiah 41:10 (TPT) There are no set of circumstances that are too difficult for our great God to handle. He has every one of our days already written in His Book (Psalm 139:16), so whatever you face today, know that God already has a record of the the answer or solution. Keep looking to Him and wait patiently for the appointed time of delivery.

…You direct me on the path that leads to a beautiful life. As I walk with You, the pleasures are never-ending, and I know true joy and contentment. — Psalm 16:11 (VOICE) We find true joy and contentment when we continually walk with the LORD, each day of our lives. May we fix our gaze upon Christ Jesus, our Lord and Savior, the eternal King of kings. In Philippians 4:11-13 (VOICE), the Apostle Paul says, “… I have learned to be content in whatever circumstances. I know how to survive in tight situations, and I know how to enjoy having plenty. In fact, I have learned how to face any circumstances: fed or hungry, with or without. I can be content in any and every situation through the Anointed One who is my power and strength. ” Amen.

We are pressed on every side by troubles, but we are not crushed. We are perplexed, but not driven to despair. — 2 Corinthians 4:8 (NLT) We may experience pressure on all sides and various afflictions, but we do not give up. For the things we see now will soon be gone, but the things we cannot see will last forever. — 2 Corinthians 4:18 (NLT) When we get anxious, it’s because we are focused on the visible world, the things we can see: the challenges and troubles. However, when we fix our gaze on our mighty God, whom we cannot see, we stay in perfect peace, no matter how circumstances appear. As thoughts about Him and His goodness and faithfulness fill our minds, our trust in Him grows stronger. If we are feeling overwhelmed, it’s because we think we have to do things in our own power. But remember, our battles our won, not by might nor by power, but by His Spirit. Be led by His Spirit continually.

Let your eyes look directly forward, and your gaze be straight before you. — Proverbs 4:25 (ESV) Quit looking in the rearview mirror of your life and look straight ahead keeping your eyes on Jesus, the good Shepherd and what He is doing in your midst. The Message Bible says: Keep your eyes straight ahead; ignore all sideshow distractions. Watch your step, and the road will stretch out smooth before you. (Proverbs 4:25-26) The path of the righteous is like the light of dawn, that shines brighter and brighter until the full day. (Proverbs 4:18 NASB) That means your best days are ahead of you. Today is a new day and God is doing a new thing. If God woke you up this morning, He has a purpose and a plan for you to accomplish with this day. Move onward and forward, forgetting those things which are behind and reaching forward to those things which are ahead. ... I’ve got my eye on the goal, where God is beckoning us onward—to Jesus. I’m off and running, and I’m not turning back . —...

He is more than able to extinguish the fiery darts of the wicked one.

I will praise the LORD, who counsels me; even at night my heart instructs me. I keep my eyes always on the LORD. With him at my right hand, I will not be shaken.  — Psalm 16:7-8 (NIV) Keep your eyes on the LORD, that's where your help comes from. Don't pay any attention to the smoke show of the enemy. He is a liar and the father of lies (John 8:44). We don’t look at the troubles we can see now; rather, we fix our gaze on things that cannot be seen. For the things we see now will soon be gone, but the things we cannot see will last forever (2 Corinthians 4:18, NLT). Hallelujah!

One thing I ask of the LORD, this is what I seek: That I may dwell in the house of the LORD all the days of my life, To gaze upon the beauty of the LORD, and to seek him in his temple. Psalm 27:4 (NIV) The house of the LORD is on high ground. Dwell there, in His holy abode, above the circumstances of your life. My heart knows no greater joy than to gaze upon the beauty of our LORD. He is adorned in glory and majesty. The whole earth is a testimony of His splendor. His brilliant light shines upon us and illuminates our darkest days. Gaze upon His beauty and appreciate His absolute magnificence.
