Do Not Judge

Image
“Do not judge and criticize and condemn [others unfairly with an attitude of self-righteous superiority as though assuming the office of a judge], so that you will not be judged [unfairly]. — Matthew 7:1 (AMP) May we not criticize each other, nor compare ourselves with others, nor compete against them. We are to love each other with genuine affection, and take delight in honoring each other. (See Romans 12:10 NLT) For you are all children of God through faith in Christ Jesus. And all who have been united with Christ in baptism have put on Christ, like putting on new clothes. There is no longer Jew or Gentile, slave or free, male and female. For you are all one in Christ Jesus. (Galatians 3:26-28 NLT)  Therefore let us pursue the things which make for peace and the things by which one may edify another.  (Romans 14:19 NKJV) So encourage each other and build each other up, just as you are already doing. (1 Thessalonians 5:11 NLT)

Drawn with Love

Image
The LORD has appeared of old to me, saying: “Yes, I have loved you with an everlasting love; Therefore with lovingkindness I have drawn you.” — Jeremiah 31:3 (NKJV) Yahweh draws us to Himself with lovingkindness, a love that never fails. He redeems your life from destruction, and crowns you with lovingkindness and tender mercies. (See Psalms 103:4 NKJV) How precious is Your lovingkindness, O God! And the children of men take refuge in the shadow of Your wings. They drink their fill of the abundance of Your house; And You give them to drink of the river of Your delights. (Psalms 36:7-8 NASB1995) Cause me to hear Your lovingkindness in the morning, for in You do I trust; Cause me to know the way in which I should walk, for I lift up my soul to You. (Psalms 143:8 NKJV) For Your lovingkindness is before my eyes, and I have walked [faithfully] in Your truth. (Psalms 26:3 AMP) Because Your lovingkindness is better than life, my lips shall praise You. (Psalms 63:3 NKJV)

Light & Momentary

Image
“ So do not worry about tomorrow; for tomorrow will care for itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own. ” — Matthew 6:34 (NASB1995) There are two things we know about the troubles we face today. One, they are light and  two, they are momentary (brief and fleeting). Second Corinthians 4:17 (NASB ) says: our momentary, light affliction is producing for us an eternal weight of glory far beyond all comparison. You see, the short-lived pains of this life are creating for us an eternal glory that does not compare to anything we know here. (2 Corinthians 4:17 VOICE) For the things which are seen are temporary, but the things which are not seen are eternal. (2 Corinthians 4:18 NKJV) Walk by faith as you deal with today’s challenges, trusting YAHWEH to show you the way through each and every situation. Know this: my God will also fill every need you have according to His glorious riches in Jesus the Anointed, our Liberating King. (Philippians 4:19 VOICE)

He's Mindful of You

Image
Blessed be the LORD my Rock, Who trains my hands for war, and my fingers for battle—My lovingkindness and my fortress, my high tower and my deliverer, my shield and the One in whom I take refuge, Who subdues my people under me. LORD, what is man, that You take knowledge of him? Or the son of man, that You are mindful of him? — Psalm 144:1-3 (NKJV) Yahweh is intimately acquainted with you and all of your ways. (See Psalm 139:3) He formed your inward parts and covered you in your mother’s womb. (See Psalm 139:13) He even knows the number of hairs on your head. (See Matthew 10:30) He knows your heartache and your deepest desires, and He is the answer. He brings healing and wholeness, as we abide in Him. You who fear the LORD, trust in the LORD; He is your help and your shield. The LORD has been mindful of us; He will bless us; He will bless the house of Israel; He will bless the house of Aaron. He will bless those who fear the LORD, both small and great. (See Psalm 115:11-13 NKJV) May we ...

He is Faithful

Image
...and from Jesus Christ, the faithful witness, the firstborn of the dead, and the ruler of the kings of the earth. To Him who loves us and released us from our sins by His blood— and He made us into a kingdom, priests to His God and Father—to Him be the glory and the dominion forever and ever. Amen. — Revelation 1:5-6 (NASB) Therefore know [without any doubt] and understand that the LORD your God, He is God, the faithful God, who is keeping His covenant and His [steadfast] lovingkindness to a thousand generations with those who love Him and keep His commandments; (Deuteronomy 7:9 AMP) He is faithful to make a way when there seems to be no way. No matter what challenging circumstances we encounter, He is faithful to work everything together for the good of those who love God and are called according to his purpose for them (See Romans 8:28 NLT). Be faithful and partner with Jesus for life. He will keep you strong to the end so that you will be free from all blame on the day when our L...

Move On!

Image
“When we were at Mount Sinai, the LORD our God said to us, ‘You have stayed at this mountain long enough. It is time to break camp and move on.’” — Deuteronomy 1:6-7a  (NLT) Sometimes we are like the Israelites and want to settle in a place that is less than God’s best, or we want to go back instead of moving forward, because the way ahead seems difficult or even impossible. If you are facing a mountain of any kind, doubt, financial lack, disease, etc. remember, the LORD your God goes ahead of you. He will fight for you and He is faithful to fulfill every promise. In Deuteronomy 1:8 (NLT) the LORD says, “ Look, I am giving all this land to you! Go in and occupy it, for it is the land the LORD swore to give to your ancestors Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, and to all their descendants. ’” Move on and occupy the land the LORD has for you.

BLESS THE LORD

Image
Blessed be the LORD, who bears our burden day by day, the God who is our salvation Selah. — Psalm 68:19 (AMP) Bless the LORD, O my soul, and all that is within me, bless His holy name. Bless the LORD, O my soul, and forget none of His benefits; Who pardons all your iniquities, Who heals all your diseases; Who redeems your life from the pit, Who crowns you with lovingkindness and compassion; (Psalm 103:1-4 NASB) Delight yourself in the LORD; and He will give you the desires of your heart. Commit your way to the LORD, trust also in Him, and He will do it. (Psalm 37:4-5 NASB)

By His Spirit

Image
Then he said to me, “This is the word of the LORD to Zerubbabel saying, ‘Not by might nor by power, but by My Spirit,’ says the LORD of hosts. — Zechariah 4:6 (NASB) Whatever assignment God has for you today, let the power of His Holy Spirit work in you and through you, to accomplish His perfect will. “The LORD is the one who goes ahead of you; He will be with you. He will not fail you or forsake you. Do not fear or be dismayed.” (Deuteronomy 31:8 NASB) Be strong and courageous and go in the strength of the Lord, our God. God can do anything, you know—far more than you could ever imagine or guess or request in your wildest dreams! He does it not by pushing us around but by working within us, his Spirit deeply and gently within us. — Ephesians 3:20 (MSG)

Called Out

Image
But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, His own special people, that you may proclaim the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light; — 1 Peter 2:9 (NKJV) We are God’s special people. See what great love the Father has lavished on us, that we should be called children of God! (1 John 3:1 NIV) He called us out of darkness and into His light. He called us out of bondage, sin and death. Jesus set us free and put before us, the path that leads to everlasting life. He called us out of lack, to live a full, more abundant life. He called us out of discouragement and defeat. Instead of being a victim, we are called to success and victory! Whenever God pulls us out of something, it is to give us something even better. We are the generation God has chosen to be here now, for such a time as this. Let us proclaim the praises of God and invite others to live in the light of His extravagant love and grace.

He's Deeply Concerned

Image
And we know [with great confidence] that God [who is deeply concerned about us] causes all things to work together [as a plan] for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to His plan and purpose. — Romans 8:28 (AMP) Have no doubt. The LORD is deeply concerned about you! His care is not just on the surface or superficial. His concern for us is deep and thorough, for all areas of our lives now and into eternity. While unexpected life events may take us by surprise, they don’t ever catch God off guard. He is fully aware and He has already made a way for you through each and every difficult situation. Every day of your life was recorded in His book. Every moment was laid out before a single day had passed. (Psalm 139:16). Your current circumstances will work together for good as you love God with all your heart, mind and soul and continue to pursue the plan and purpose He has given to you.

A Living Sacrifice

Image
Therefore I urge you, brethren, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies a living and holy sacrifice, acceptable to God, which is your spiritual service of worship. — Romans 12:1 (NASB) Sacrifice involves giving up something valued for the sake of something else regarded as more important or worthy. To worship God, we must give up our fleshly desires and worldly ways, to embrace His ways and become a true reflection of our awesome God. Jesus sacrificed His life for us, what are you willing to give? God wants all of you, not just a mouth or a foot. Let your whole body be a vessel God can use for His glory. May we use our minds to meditate on His Word and gain understanding by letting it seep into our hearts. Let the words that come out of our mouths be full of life and spoken in kindness that others will be drawn to the Lord. May we lift our hands to praise Him and use them as an extension of His love and compassion to the world around us. May we faithfully put one foot in f...

Most Blessed

Image
If people can’t see what God is doing, they stumble all over themselves; But when they attend to what he reveals, they are most blessed. — Proverbs 29:18 (MSG) Instead of wandering aimlessly through life, give attention to what God has revealed to you. May we be about doing whatever God has called us to do, with a sense of urgency and priority in our lives. Blessed is the one who heeds wisdom’s instruction (Proverbs 29:18b NIV).  I pray that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened in order that you may know the hope to which he has called you… (Ephesians 1:18 NIV).

Cease Striving

Image
“ Cease striving and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth. ” — Psalm 46:10 (NAS) Cease striving and remember your Creator! Be still and acknowledge Him. “Now consider this, you who forget God, lest I tear you in pieces,
 and there be none to deliver: Whoever offers praise glorifies Me;
And to him who orders his conduct aright I will show the salvation of God.” — Psalm 50:22-23 (NKJV)

Make the Call!

‘Call to Me, and I will answer you, and show you great and mighty things, which you do not know.’ — Jeremiah 33:3 (NKJV) Evening and morning and at noon pray, and cry aloud, and the LORD shall hear your voice (55:17). God's ear is attentive to the prayers of His people. Let our heavenly Father be the first one you call, not the last resort and something you do only when you are desperate. Have constant dialogue with Him. He is faithful and He will answer you!

He Draws All People

“When I have been lifted up from the earth, I will draw all people toward me.” — John 12:32 (GW) Jesus draws all people unto Him. He didn’t come to condemn the world but to save the world (John 12:47). Jesus said, “Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.” If you are heavily burdened, cast your cares on the Lord and draw unto Him.

Favor for a Lifetime

Sing the praises of the LORD, you his faithful people; praise his holy name. For his anger lasts only a moment, but his favor lasts a lifetime; weeping may stay for the night, but rejoicing comes in the morning. Psalm 30:4-5 (NIV) God gives kindness, mercy and favor. His favor surrounds us like a shield. The favor of the LORD, grounds us like a strong mountain. His favor rests upon us and establishes the work of our hands (Psalm 90:17). Enjoy the LORD's favor. We may have seasons of sadness, but they will give way to rejoicing and laughter.

The People of His Pasture

Oh come, let us worship and bow down; Let us kneel before the LORD our Maker. For He is our God, And we are the people of His pasture, And the sheep of His hand. Psalm 95:6-7 (NKJ) Worship and bow down before the LORD our Maker. He is our God and we are His people. He makes us lie down and rest in lush, green meadows. He leads us beside peaceful streams. In the darkest valley we have no need to fear because He is right there beside us. He leads us and guides us along on the path He has chosen for each one of us. Love, Jackie

Give Thanks

Give thanks in all circumstances, for this is God's will for you in Christ Jesus. 1 Thessalonians 5:18 (NIV) Our hearts are to overflow with thankfulness to God at all times. Even in difficult times we can thank God for giving us the strength and direction to get through the trial. Don't wait until you see circumstances change, thank in Him in advance because we know He has already given us the victory. I thank God for you. Love, Jackie
