Rise Up!

Image
“Some find their strength in their weapons and wisdom, but my miracle-deliverance can never be won by men. Our boast is in Yahweh our God, who makes us strong and gives us victory! Our enemies will not prevail; they will only collapse and perish in defeat while we will rise up, full of courage.” — Psalms 20:7-8 (TPT) As followers of Yeshua, we are a chosen people. We are royal priests, a holy nation, God’s very own possession… (See 1 Peter 2:9) Rise up for the battle is the LORD’s, and He has already given us the victory. “In times of trouble, may the LORD answer your cry. May the name of the God of Jacob keep you safe from all harm. May he send you help from his sanctuary and strengthen you from Jerusalem. May he grant your heart’s desires and make all your plans succeed. May we shout for joy when we hear of your victory and raise a victory banner in the name of our God. May the LORD answer all your prayers.” (Psalms 20:1-2 & 4-5 NLT)

Boast in Yahweh

Image
Thus says Yahweh, “Let not a wise man boast in his wisdom, and let not the mighty man boast in his might; let not a rich man boast in his riches, but let him who boasts boast in this, that he understands and knows Me, that I am Yahweh who shows lovingkindness, justice, and righteousness on earth; for I delight in these things,” declares Yahweh. — Jeremiah 9:23-24 (LSB) Do not boast in worldly wealth, which is here today and gone tomorrow. Let no one boast in men. Psalms 118:8 (NKJV) says: “It is better to trust in the LORD than to put confidence in man.” May we pursue a deeper walker walk with the LORD and understand that it is always better to follow His ways and His Word.  I will bless Yahweh at all times; His praise shall continually be in my mouth. My soul will make its boast in Yahweh; The humble will hear it and rejoice. O magnify Yahweh with me, and let us exalt His name together. (Psalms 34:1-3 LSB) In God we boast all day long, and praise Your name forever. Selah (Psalms ...

Boast in The LORD

However, “Let him who boasts boast in the LORD.” — 2 Corinthians 10:17 (AMP) Thus says Yahweh, “Let not a wise man boast in his wisdom, and let not the mighty man boast in his might; let not a rich man boast in his riches, but let him who boasts boast in this, that he understands and knows Me, that I am Yahweh who shows lovingkindness, justice, and righteousness on earth; for I delight in these things,” declares Yahweh. (Jeremiah 9:23-24 LSB)  Some boast in chariots and some in horses, but we will boast in the name of Yahweh, our God. (Psalms 20:7 LSB) For by Him all things were created, both in the heavens and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or rulers or authorities—all things have been created through Him and for Him. (Colossians 1:6 NASB1995) May we seek to understand and know Yahweh. For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are His ways higher than our ways and His thoughts than our thoughts. (See Isaiah 55:9)  My soul will make i...

Magnify Yahweh

Image
I will bless Yahweh at all times; His praise shall continually be in my mouth. My soul will make its boast in Yahweh; The humble will hear it and rejoice. O magnify Yahweh with me, and let us exalt His name together. — Psalms 34:1-3 (LSB) The more we discuss the deeds of darkness, the more attention the enemy gets. As followers of Yeshua, we have the light of life in us. (See John 8:12 TLV) We have the light of hope for those who walk in gloom and doom. Let us be beacons of light, reflecting the light of the Lord. Magnify our great and awesome God. Share the good things He has done. Let others know what a loving and gracious God He is. The earth is full of the goodness of the LORD. (See Psalms 33:5 NKJV) But as for me, it is good for me to draw near to God; I have made the Lord GOD my refuge and placed my trust in Him, that I may tell of all Your works. — Psalms 73:28 (AMP)

Boast in Yahweh

Image
I am Yahweh, that is My name; I will not give My glory to another, nor My praise to graven images. — Isaiah 42:8 (LSB) Let no one boast in man, or our talents and abilities. Everything we have and all that we are, we have received freely and generously from our heavenly Father. Some boast in chariots and some in horses, but we will boast in the name of Yahweh, our God. (Psalms 20:7 LSB) I will bless Yahweh at all times; His praise shall continually be in my mouth. My soul will make its boast in Yahweh; The humble will hear it and rejoice. (Psalms 34:1-2 LSB) This poor man called out, and Yahweh heard him and saved him out of all his troubles. The angel of Yahweh encamps around those who fear Him, and rescues them. (Psalms 34:6-7 LSB) The eyes of Yahweh are toward the righteous and His ears are open to their cry for help. (Psalms 34:15 LSB) Let all who seek You rejoice and be glad in You; Let those who love Your salvation say continually, “Yahweh be magnified!” (Psalms 40:16 LSB) I...

Boast in Yahweh

Image
I will bless Yahweh at all times; His praise shall continually be in my mouth. My soul will make its boast in Yahweh; The humble will hear it and rejoice. O magnify Yahweh with me, and let us exalt His name together. — Psalm 34:1-3 (LSB) O fear the LORD, you His saints; For to those who fear Him there is no want. The young lions do lack and suffer hunger; But they who seek the LORD shall not be in want of any good thing. (Psalm 34:9-10 NASB1995) Yahweh is near to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit. Many are the evils against the righteous, but Yahweh delivers him out of them all. (Psalm 34:18-19 LSB) Hallelujah! The lovingkindness of God endures all day long. Trust in the lovingkindness of God forever and ever. (See Psalm 52:1,8) Blessed be the Lord, Who daily loads us with benefits, the God of our salvation! Selah (Psalm 68:19)

Boast Only in the LORD

Image
Thus says the LORD, “Let not a wise man boast of his wisdom, and let not the mighty man boast of his might, let not a rich man boast of his riches; but let him who boasts boast of this, that he understands and knows Me, that I am the LORD who exercises lovingkindness, justice and righteousness on earth; for I delight in these things,” declares the LORD. — Jeremiah 9:23-24 (NASB1995) Psalm 94:4 (NKJV) says: All the workers of iniquity boast in themselves. Who or what do you boast about? The wisdom of this world is foolishness before God. The Lord knows the reasonings of the wise, that they are useless. So then let no one boast in men. (See 1 Corinthians 3:19-21 NASB1995) Rather, boast in Yahweh. For He is not a God who takes pleasure in wickedness, nor shall evil dwell with Him. The boastful shall not stand in His sight… (See Psalm 5:4-5 NKJV) He delights in lovingkindness, justice and righteousness. May our greatest pursuit be to understand and know Yahweh, to become more like Him and...

Boast in His Name

Image
Some boast in chariots and some in horses, but we will boast in the name of the LORD, our God. — Psalm 20:7 (NASB1995) Let us not boast about material possessions or our monetary resources. Don’t boast about what you drive nor the location or size of the house you live in. Don’t boast about the letters or titles behind your name. All these things are temporary. Let us boast only in the name of YAHWEH. For the world and all it contains are His. (See Psalm 50:12)  Every good thing given and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from our Heavenly Father. (See James 2:17) He is the everlasting God. Elohim, Creator of the universe and all it contains. He is the only true and living God, full of grace and mercy. The LORD gives wisdom; from His mouth come knowledge and understanding. (See Proverbs 2:6) All the workers of iniquity boast in themselves. (See Psalm 94:4) But let us boast in the name of Yahweh, that we know Him, and strive to walk with Him all of our days. Boast in the...

Boast Only in the LORD

Thus says the LORD, “Let not a wise man boast of his wisdom, and let not the mighty man boast of his might, let not a rich man boast of his riches; but let him who boasts boast of this, that he understands and knows Me, that I am the LORD who exercises lovingkindness, justice and righteousness on earth; for I delight in these things,” declares the LORD. — Jeremiah 9:23-24 (NASB1995) Let no one boast in men, about their wisdom, their future plans, or of the material goods they possess. James 4:16 says: …as it is, you boast in your arrogance; all such boasting is evil. May we boast only in YAHWEH, He is clothed with splendor and majesty. His right hand is majestic in power, His right hand shatters the enemy. (See Exodus 15:6) He laid the foundation of the earth, and stretched out heaven like a tent curtain. He walks upon the wings of the wind; He makes the winds His messengers, flaming fire His ministers. (See Psalm 104:1-5)  Even before he made the world, God loved us and chose us i...

Boast Only about The LORD

Image
Therefore, as the Scriptures say, “If you want to boast, boast only about the LORD.” — 1 Corinthians 1:31 (NLT) We overcome by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of our testimony. (See Revelation 12:11 NKJV) Therefore, I will praise the LORD at all times. I will constantly speak his praises. I will boast only in the LORD; let all who are helpless take heart. Come, let us tell of the LORD’s greatness; let us exalt his name together. (See Psalm 34:1-3 NLT) In my desperation I prayed, and the LORD listened; he saved me from all my troubles. (Psalm 34:6) The LORD hears his people when they call to him for help. He rescues them from all their troubles. (Psalm 34:17 NLT) The righteous person faces many troubles, but the LORD comes to the rescue each time. (Psalm 34:19 NLT)

Boast in the Name

Image
Some nations boast of their chariots and horses, but we boast in the name of the LORD our God. Those nations will fall down and collapse, but we will rise up and stand firm. — Psalm 20:7-8 (NLT) Let no one boast in men, or the things of this world. They will pass away or rust and decay, but the name of our great God stands forever. Those who trust in and rely on the name of the LORD will rise up and stand firm. Our help is in the name of the LORD, Who made heaven and earth. (Psalm 124:8 NASB) Elohim is the all-powerful One and Creator of all. He is El Elyon, the God Most High, and El Shaddai, the all-sufficient Source of all our blessings. He is El Olam, the eternal and everlasting God. “He who boasts and glories, let him boast and glory in the LORD.” (See 1 Corinthians 1:31 AMP) Yours, O LORD, is the greatness, The power and the glory, the victory and the majesty; for all that is in heaven and in earth is Yours; Yours is the kingdom, O LORD, and You are exalted as head over all. (1 C...

Boast in the Name

Image
Some boast in chariots and some in horses, but we will boast in the name of the LORD, our God. They have bowed down and fallen, but we have risen and stood upright. — Psalm 20:7-8 (NASB) Boast in the name of Jesus. His name is called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Eternal Father, and Prince of Peace. Isaiah 9:6 says, even the government will rest on His shoulders. The battle is the Lord’s and He has already gained the victory. Amen! At the name of Jesus every knee will bow, of those who are in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and every tongue will confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father. (Philippians 2:10-11)

Proclaim His Greatness

Image
“I will bless the LORD at all times; his praise will always be on my lips. I will boast in the LORD; the humble will hear and be glad. Proclaim the LORD’s greatness with me; let us exalt his name together.” — Psalms 34:1-3 (CSB) No matter what the current circumstance, let us continue to speak His praise. Instead of talking about how hard your situation is, proclaim how great is our God. “Enter His gates with thanksgiving And His courts with praise. Give thanks to Him, bless His name.” (Psalms 100:4 NASB) “Let everything that has breath praise the LORD. Praise the LORD!” — Psalms 150:6 (NASB)

His Grace is all You Need!

Image
Each time he said, “My grace is all you need. My power works best in weakness.” So now I am glad to boast about my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ can work through me. — 2 Corinthians 12:9 (NLT) We’ve been surrounded and battered by troubles, but we’re not demoralized; we’re not sure what to do, but we know that God knows what to do; we’ve been spiritually terrorized, but God hasn’t left our side; we’ve been thrown down, but we haven’t broken. (2 Corinthians 4:7-9 MSG) In the midst of troubles and trials, admit your weakness and rely on the power of Christ to work through you. God already knows how to handle every challenge that confronts you, and He has not left your side. Amen.

Boast in His Name

Image
Some boast in chariots and some in horses, but we will boast in the name of the LORD, our God. — Psalm 20:7 (NASB) If you are going to boast about anything, boast in the name of the LORD. Our help is in the name of the LORD, Who made heaven and earth. (Psalm 124:8) His name is a strong tower; the righteous run to it and are safe. (Proverbs 18:10) Trust in the mighty name of the LORD, our God. Whoever calls on the name of the LORD shall be saved. (Romans 10:13) O God, we give glory to you all day long and constantly praise your name. Interlude (Psalm 44:8 NLT) I don’t want to hear any of you bragging about yourself or anyone else. Everything is already yours as a gift—Paul, Apollos, Peter, the world, life, death, the present, the future—all of it is yours, and you are privileged to be in union with Christ, who is in union with God. (1 Corinthians 3:21-23 MSG)

Boast in God

Image
Through You we will push down our enemies; Through Your name we will trample those who rise up against us. For I will not trust in my bow, nor shall my sword save me. But You have saved us from our enemies, and have put to shame those who hated us. In God we boast all day long, and praise Your name forever. Selah — Psalm 44:5-8 (NKJV) Let us not put our trust in our abilities or resources. It’s by His power that resides in us and works through us that we are able to accomplish anything. John 15:15 says apart from Christ we can do nothing. If we boast, may we boast in God alone, all the day long. The Message Bible says, “All day we parade God’s praise…” (Psalm 448a). My soul makes its boast in the LORD; The humble and downtrodden will hear it and rejoice. (Psalm 34:2 AMP)

A Clean Slate

Image
That makes it quite clear that none of you can get by with blowing your own horn before God. Everything that we have—right thinking and right living, a clean slate and a fresh start—comes from God by way of Jesus Christ. That’s why we have the saying, “If you’re going to blow a horn, blow a trumpet for God.” — 1 Corinthians 1:29-31 (MSG) In Christ, we have a clean slate and a fresh start from God. We could not have earned righteousness on our own. Therefore, if you want to boast, boast only about the LORD, who demonstrates lovingkindness, and exercises justice and righteousness. He is rich in grace, mercy, and compassion. The faithful love of the LORD never ends! His mercies never cease. Great is his faithfulness; his mercies begin afresh each morning (Lamentations 3:22-23, NLT).

Constantly Thank and Praise the LORD!

I will thank the LORD at all times. My mouth will always praise him. — Psalm 34:1(GW) Let us give thanks always for all things to God the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ (Ephesians 5:20). The LORD is good, all the time, speak His praises every chance you get. My soul shall make its boast in the LORD;
The humble shall hear of it and be glad. Oh, magnify the LORD with me, and let us exalt His name together! (Psalm 34:2-3)

Highly Honor His Name!

I will thank the LORD at all times. My mouth will always praise him. My soul will boast about the LORD. Those who are oppressed will hear it and rejoice. Praise the LORD’s greatness with me. Let us highly honor his name together.  — Psalm 34:1-3 (GW) Give thanks to the LORD at all times. Constantly speak his praises! Boast about all that God is doing in your life. It will encourage those who hear your testimony. Let us highly honor His name by living HOLY, being HUMBLE and staying HUNGRY for the things of God!

God Makes Us Qualified

By ourselves we are not qualified in any way to claim that we can do anything. Rather, God makes us qualified. — 2 Corinthians 3:5 (GW) Let us not boast about anything or think more highly of ourselves than we ought to. All of our gifts, talents and abilities come from God. He gives us wisdom and revelation knowledge. He gives us the power to create wealth. He gives us strength and a sound mind. He will give you whatever you need to accomplish His will in your life. Let us always give thanks to God for all the He provides.
