Manna for Your Morning

“These things I have spoken to you, that in Me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world.” — John 16:33 (NKJV) A cheerful heart is good medicine, but a broken spirit saps a person’s strength. (Proverbs 17:22 NLT) Be of good cheer. In our Lord and Savior, Yeshua, we can have perfect peace and fullness of joy. God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. (Psalms 46:1 NKJV) Unless the LORD had helped me, I would soon have settled in the silence of the grave. I cried out, “I am slipping!” but your unfailing love, O LORD, supported me. When doubts filled my mind, your comfort gave me renewed hope and cheer. (Psalms 94:17-19 NLT) “You have allowed me to suffer much hardship, but you will restore me to life again and lift me up from the depths of the earth.” — Psalms 71:20 (NLT)

I have told you these things, so that in Me you may have [perfect] peace. In the world you have tribulation and distress and suffering, but be courageous [be confident, be undaunted, be filled with joy]; I have overcome the world.” [My conquest is accomplished, My victory abiding.] — John 16:33 (AMP) Yeshua told us that in this world there would be tribulation. However, we can remain in perfect peace because He has overcome the world. Yeshua is Immanuel, “God with us.” (See Matthew 1:123) The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. Yeshua came that we may have life, and that we may have it more abundantly. (See John 10:10) No matter what happens, we can have perfect peace knowing that God will work all things together for good (See Romans 8:28), and in King Yeshua, our Savior, we have already gained the victory.

Who shall ever separate us from the love of Christ? Will tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or danger, or sword? — Romans 8:35 (AMP) Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors and gain an overwhelming victory through Him who loved us [so much that He died for us]. For I am convinced [and continue to be convinced—beyond any doubt] that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor things present and threatening, nor things to come, nor powers, nor height, nor depth, nor any other created thing, will be able to separate us from the [unlimited] love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord. (Romans 8:37-39 AMP) Don’t get distracted and drift away, nor let your heart be deceived and turn to follow idols. Let there be no separation between you and Yeshua, our Lord and Savior, and His unfailing love. Abide in Him and live convinced that not even death can separate you from His amazing love.

Do not fear what you are about to suffer. Behold, the devil is about to cast some of you into prison, so that you will be tested, and you will have tribulation for ten days. Be faithful until death, and I will give you the crown of life. — Revelation 2:10 (NASB1995) Beloved, do not be surprised at the fiery ordeal among you, which comes upon you for your testing, as though some strange thing were happening to you; (1 Peter 4:12) Who would have ever thought we would live to see someone be arrested for reading the Word of God? May we be faithful to the point of death. ...as for you, brothers and sisters, do not grow weary of doing good. (2 Thessalonians 3:13) In Revelation 2:23, the Son of God says this: “…I am He who searches the minds and hearts; and I will give to each one of you according to your deeds.” “He who overcomes [the world through believing that Jesus is the Son of God] will accordingly be dressed in white clothing; and I will never blot out his name from the Book of Life,...

In Christ, we are more than conquerors. What we must realize in the dark valleys, is that Jesus has already given us the victory. We just need to keep moving forward, and we will make it to the glorious mountaintop moments. Yet I am so thankful to God, who always marches us to victory under the banner of the Anointed One; and through us He spreads the beautiful fragrance of His knowledge to every corner of the earth. (2 Corinthians 2:14 VOICE)

That Sunday evening the disciples were meeting behind locked doors because they were afraid of the Jewish leaders. Suddenly, Jesus was standing there among them! “Peace be with you,” he said. — John 20:19 (NLT) Jesus said to His disciples again, “ Peace be with you, ” in John 20:21 and John 20:26. It's pretty clear, He desires for His disciples to remain in peace. Peace is not an escape from the pressures of life. It is something Jesus tells us to have, even in the midst of the storms. In John 16:33 (AMP), He told us we would have tribulation, distress and suffering, but He also said, “T hese things I have spoken to you, that in Me you may have peace .” How can we maintain peace in the midst of the storms? 1) By relying on the help of the Holy Spirit within us. 2) By believing and speaking the Word of God to every mountain (trial, situation, or circumstance). And 3) by remembering that our present troubles are small and won’t last very long. Yet they produce for us a glory t...

Abide in Me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself unless it abides in the vine, so neither can you unless you abide in Me. I am the vine, you are the branches; he who abides in Me and I in him, he bears much fruit, for apart from Me you can do nothing. — John 15:4-5 (NASB) As we abide in Jesus, we bear much fruit. In Him, we are able to experience perfect peace. In John 16:33, Jesus said, “ These things I have spoken to you, so that in Me you may have peace. In the world you have tribulation, but take courage; I have overcome the world. ” As we abide in Him, we are able to walk in love, kindness, compassion and gentleness. When we remain in Him, His power is made available to us. It enables us to stand strong and exercise self-control. As we remain in Him, we live in strength and victory. “ Live in me. Make your home in me just as I do in you. ” (John 15:4a MSG)

The centurion answered and said, “Lord, I am not worthy that You should come under my roof. But only speak a word, and my servant will be healed.” — Matthew 8:8 (NKJV) Then Jesus said to the centurion, “Go your way; and as you have believed, so let it be done for you.” And his servant was healed that same hour. — Matthew 8:13 (NKJV) Matthew 8:10 says: When Jesus heard it, He marveled, and said to those who followed, “Assuredly, I say to you, I have not found such great faith, not even in Israel! May we be like the centurion and take Jesus at His Word. In John 19:30, Jesus said, “ It is finished! ” The battle is already won. Jesus has done everything that needed to be done for us to live a victorious life. He has given us the authority here on earth. In John 16:33, Jesus said, “These things I have spoken to you, that in Me you may have peace. Be still and know that He is God. Nothing is too difficult for Him. He has already made a way for you.

Do not fear any of those things which you are about to suffer. Indeed, the devil is about to throw some of you into prison, that you may be tested, and you will have tribulation ten days. Be faithful until death, and I will give you the crown of life. — Revelation 2:10 (NKJV) Beloved, do not think it strange concerning the fiery trial which is to try you, as though some strange thing happened to you (1 Peter 4:2). Suffering brings about great fruit. A diamond has to be cut and polished before it sparkles. Before the championship game can be won, we must experience the pain and soreness of practice. Before the baby is born, one must go through the pain of labor. Jesus bled and suffered for us to enjoy the fruit of fellowship with the Father. Do not fear the suffering. You have the greater One living inside of you. Be faithful to the end. In Jesus, we have the victory!

…that no one should be shaken by these afflictions; for you yourselves know that we are appointed to this. For, in fact, we told you before when we were with you that we would suffer tribulation, just as it happened, and you know. — 1 Thessalonians 3:3-4 (NKJV) Dear friends, don’t be surprised at the fiery trials you are going through, as if something strange were happening to you (1 Peter 4:12 NLT). In this world we will have tribulation, but be of good cheer because Jesus has overcome the world (John 16:33). Never let the storms of life move you. Stand on the Word of God. No matter what comes our way, we are mighty and secure, in Jesus. He is our strong foundation. Faithful and absolutely trustworthy is He who is calling you [to Himself for your salvation], and He will do it [He will fulfill His call by making you holy, guarding you, watching over you, and protecting you as His own]. (1 Thessalonians 5:24 AMP). God will ensure His Word comes to pass and the call is fulfilled,...

And He said to them, Why are you disturbed and troubled, and why do such doubts and questionings arise in your hearts? — Luke 24:38 (AMP) I have told you these things, so that in Me you may have [perfect] peace and confidence. In the world you have tribulation and trials and distress and frustration; but be of good cheer [take courage; be confident, certain, undaunted]! For I have overcome the world. [I have deprived it of power to harm you and have conquered it for you.] (John 16:33 AMP). Receive this Word in your heart, mind and soul. When we are truly confident in all that the Lord has done for us,  no tribulation or trial will cause us to doubt or question the goodness of our great God. And we will allow no earthly event to steal our joy. Amen.

Now may the Lord of peace Himself give you peace always in every way. The Lord be with you all. — 2 Thessalonians 3:16 (NKJV) The reason we can have peace is because the Lord is with us, at all times. And He who is in us, is greater than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4). Even though we have troubles and tribulation in this world, we can be of good cheer, because Jesus, our Lord and Savior has overcome the world. (John 16:33) In Jesus, we already have the victory. No matter how circumstances appear, we can remain in peace always, knowing that He is working everything together for good, to give us a future and a hope.

Rejoice and exult in hope; be steadfast and patient in suffering and tribulation; be constant in prayer. — Romans 12:12 (AMP) Keep your hope in God alive. We have this hope as an anchor for the soul, firm and secure. Proverbs 10:28 says, the hope of the righteous will be gladness. As you face various trials, let patience have its perfect work, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking nothing. (James 1:4). And devote yourselves to prayer with an alert mind and a thankful heart (Colossians 4:2 NLT). Instead of a prayer time, have a prayer life. The earnest prayer of a righteous person has great power and produces wonderful results. (James 5:16b)

“Let not your heart be troubled; you believe in God, believe also in Me.” — John 14:1 (NKJV) Jesus gave us His peace (John 14:27). How do we keep our hearts from being troubled? By believing in God, the Father and in His Son, Jesus, our Savior and Lord. Believe that He is all we need Him to be, in every situation and circumstance. In John 16:33 (AMP), Jesus said, “...in Me you may have [perfect] peace and confidence. In the world you have tribulation and trials and distress and frustration; but be of good cheer [take courage; be confident, certain, undaunted]! For I have overcome the world. [I have deprived it of power to harm you and have conquered it for you.]”

Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. — Philippians 4:6-7 (NKJV) How can we be anxious for nothing? By abiding in our Lord and Savior, Jesus, and continually casting our cares on Him. There is peace in His Presence. Jesus said, “…in Me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world.” (John 16:33) No matter what mayhem comes your way, let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid because Jesus has given us His everlasting peace (John 14:27).

... in Me you may have [perfect] peace and confidence. In the world you have tribulation and trials and distress and frustration; but be of good cheer [take courage; be confident, certain, undaunted]! For I have overcome the world. [I have deprived it of power to harm you and have conquered it for you.] — John 16:33 (AMP) Jesus has conquered the world and deprived it of power over you. Praise the Lord! No matter what you are going through today, remember that we have the victory. Let us abide in Jesus, and His perfect peace will continually abide in us.

I am filled with comfort. I am exceedingly joyful in all our tribulation. — 2 Corinthians 7:4b (NKJV) The Apostle Paul was beaten with rods three times, stoned, shipwrecked, in perils (serious and immediate danger) of waters, in perils of robbers, his own countrymen, and the Gentiles, in perils in the city, the wilderness, and the sea, in perils among false brethren; in weariness and toil, in sleeplessness often, in hunger and thirst, in fastings often, in cold and nakedness (2 Corinthians 11:24-27). Yet, in all these things, the Apostle Paul says he was exceedingly joyful. This shows, that our joy is not a matter of having the right circumstances in our lives. Our joy comes from knowing Who our God is and that He is able. Nothing is too difficult for Him. Our joy comes from knowing who we are. We are sons and daughters of the Most High God. He chose us and accepted us into His family. We can hold onto our joy, knowing that no matter what trials come, they will also pass, and God ...

...when we came to Macedonia, our bodies had no rest, but we were troubled on every side. Outside were conflicts, inside were fears. Nevertheless God, who comforts the downcast, comforted us by the coming of Titus, — 2 Corinthians 7:5-6 (NKJV) If you are troubled on every side today, know that in spite of your circumstances, you have the God of all comfort standing by your side. He comforts us in all our tribulation (2 Corinthians 1:4). His perfect love casts out fear, (1 John 4:18). The God of peace will speak peace to any conflict that has been stirred up against you. He shall bring forth your righteousness as the light, and your justice as the noonday (Psalm 37:6).

rejoicing in hope, patient in tribulation, continuing steadfastly in prayer; — Romans 12:12 (NKJV) Let us rejoice in hopeful expectation to see the Lord work in our lives and hearts. As long as our hope is anchored in the Lord Jesus Christ, we will not be disappointed. We can be patient in all kinds of troubles and tribulations, knowing that Jesus has given us the victory. We are more than conquerors! Continue steadfastly in prayer because our help comes from the LORD. Amen!
