Manna for Your Morning

“Do not rebel against the LORD, and don’t be afraid of the people of the land. They are only helpless prey to us! They have no protection, but the LORD is with us! Don’t be afraid of them!” — Numbers 14:9 (NLT) Of the twelve men Moses sent to explore the land, only Caleb and Joshua entered the promised land. The LORD said, because His servant Caleb had a different spirit and followed Him fully, He would bring him into the land, and his descendants would take possession of it. (See Numbers 14:24) The other ten men who incited rebellion against the LORD with their bad report, died in the wilderness (See Numbers 14:29, 36) Instead of listening to a bad report and following the crowd, trust YAHWEH and fear Him only. May we follow Him fully, each and every day.

But My servant Caleb, because he has a different spirit in him and has followed Me fully, I will bring into the land where he went, and his descendants shall inherit it. — Numbers 14:24 (NKJV)      May we faithfully follow the Lord Jesus, not just on Sunday, but Monday through Saturday also. Passionately follow Him with your whole heart and in everything you do. Let your mind be fixed upon HIm. Let us be loyally committed to our Savior, who gave His life to save us.      As we continually follow Jesus, we experience fullness of joy and abiding peace. In Jesus, we are more than conquerors, for He has overcome the world. In Him we have gained the victory! Fully follow Christ and you shall inherit your promise land.

For I will [fully] satisfy the weary soul, and I will replenish every languishing and sorrowful person. — Jeremiah 31:25 (AMP) As we abide in His Presence, our heavenly Father fully satisfies our weary souls. His Holy Spirit dwelling in us, empowers us with everything we need to successfully navigate our way through each moment of the day. He gives us strength for every struggle. Put your hand in His and let Him be your guide. He alone is the source of our peace, and joy and only in His Presence will we be fully satisfied and fulfilled.

But Caleb said, “Let us go up at once and take possession, for we are well able to overcome it,” (Numbers 13:30 NKJV). Let us be like Caleb and have a different spirit. May we have a courageous, warrior spirit that stands strong and ready to engage in combat, for  we are well able to overcome any and all obstacles! Let us have a spirit that remains loyal to the LORD, no matter how impossible circumstances appear. Wholly follow the LORD and you too shall occupy the land He has for you! ...that you may walk worthy of the Lord, fully pleasing Him, being fruitful in every good work and increasing in the knowledge of God; strengthened with all might, according to His glorious power, for all patience and longsuffering with joy; — Colossians 1:10-11 (NKJV) May we walk in a manner worthy of the Lord, that pleases Him in every way. Refuse to let a worldly, hostile environment corrupt your God-honoring behavior and joyful attitude. Let us continually grow in our knowledge of God and experience a deeper, increasing intimacy with Him. Then we will be fruitful in every good work we undertake, in every area of our lives: spiritual, physical, financial, relationships, etc. May we be strengthened with His power that resides inside of us and enables us to endure and persevere ALL things, as we hold onto the everlasting joy of the Lord. Amen!

He did not waver at the promise of God through unbelief, but was strengthened in faith, giving glory to God, and being fully convinced that what He had promised He was also able to perform. — Romans 4:20-21 (NKJV) When God told Abraham, he would be the father of many nations, He did not consider his own body, already dead (about 100 years old), and the deadness of Sarah's womb (Romans 4:19). No matter how hopeless or dead situations may appear in your life, be fully persuaded, 100% confident, that God is able turn it around. The Message Bible says, Abraham plunged into the promise and came up strong, ready for God, sure that God would make good on what he had said. Be strengthened in your faith today!

The LORD is in his holy temple; the LORD is on his heavenly throne. He observes everyone on earth his eyes examine them.  — Psalm 11:4 (NIV) The LORD does not see as man sees; for man looks at the outward appearance, but the LORD looks at the inward condition of the heart. His eyes run to and fro throughout the whole earth, to strengthen those whose hearts are fully committed to him (2 Chronicles 16:9). God is constantly looking for those with hearts that are loyal to Him, so He can show Himself strong, on their behalf. Be fully committed!

A sinner may commit a hundred crimes and yet live a long life. Still, I know with certainty that it will go well for those who fear God, because they fear him. Ecclesiastes 8:12 (GW) The LORD says, “those who honor Me I will honor,” (1 Samuel 2:30). When we sincerely reverence the LORD, with hearts that are fully devoted to Him and put Him first in our lives, it will go well with our souls. Isaiah 3:10 says, tell the righteous it will be well with them, for they will enjoy the fruit of their deeds.
