Great & Marvelous

Image
O LORD, our Lord, how majestic is Your name in all the earth! — Psalm 8:9 (NASB) The great I AM, is the One true and living God. Blessed be the LORD, the Maker of heaven and earth. Great and marvelous are His works. He set the sun, moon and stars in place. He knit each and every person together in the womb of their mother. He knows each person by name and knows the number of hairs on our head. God is intimately acquainted with all our ways. He desires continual fellowship with His children and wants us to reflect His glory on the earth. He created each one of us with a purpose and a good plan for our lives. He wrote all our days in His book before we drew our first breath. That means He has already gone into your future and made a way for you. Amen.

He has a Plan

Image
And we know [with great confidence] that God [who is deeply concerned about us] causes all things to work together [as a plan] for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to His plan and purpose. — Romans 8:28 (AMP) Keep your eyes on Jesus, who is the same yesterday, today, and forever and not the ever changing circumstances. God has a plan for your life and it is a good plan. Trust God from the bottom of your heart; don’t try to figure out everything on your own. Listen for God’s voice in everything you do, everywhere you go; he’s the one who will keep you on track. (Proverbs 3:5-6 MSG) For I know the plans I have for you,” says the LORD. “They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope. — Jeremiah 29:11 (NLT)

A Sure Thing!

Image
Trust in the LORD forever, for in YAH, the LORD, is everlasting strength. — Isaiah 26:4 (NKJV) The Message Bibles says: Depend on God and keep at it because in the LORD God you have a sure thing. (Isaiah 26:4) If God has spoken it, we can trust Him to bring it to pass. There are no broken promises with Him. “ For I am a great King,” says the LORD of hosts, “And My name is to be feared among the nations. ” (Malachi 1:14b) Our King reigns, forever and ever! Mighty and great is He. And those who know Your name will put their trust in You; for You, LORD, have not forsaken those who seek You. (Psalm 9:10 NKJV)

Pray for All People

Image
I urge, then, first of all, that petitions, prayers, intercession and thanksgiving be made for all people— for kings and all those in authority, that we may live peaceful and quiet lives in all godliness and holiness. — 1 Timothy 2:1-2 (NIV) Let us pray for all people; that we may influence the world for good and not evil. Pray for God’s will to be done on earth as it is in heaven. (Matthew 6:10) Then if my people who are called by my name will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, I will hear from heaven and will forgive their sins and restore their land. (2 Chronicles 7:14 NLT) This is the confidence which we have before Him, that, if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us. And if we know that He hears us in whatever we ask, we know that we have the requests which we have asked from Him. (1 John 5:14-15 NASB)

Answer The Call

Image
“Teacher, which is the most important commandment in the law of Moses?” Jesus replied, “‘You must love the LORD your God with all your heart, all your soul, and all your mind.’ This is the first and greatest commandment. A second is equally important: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’ — Matthew 22:36-39 (NLT) As believers we have a call on our lives, a mission to pursue that aligns with the two greatest commandments. First we are to know Him, then we are to make Him known to others. To know the LORD is to love Him with all our heart, soul and mind. As we grow in the knowledge of our great God, we are able to see ourselves the way He sees us, as extraordinary children of God. We can then love and accept ourselves the way our heavenly Father loves us. Consequently, we are able to love our neighbors with the same kind of love God lavishes on us, sacrificial and unconditional. When we walk in this kind of love with our neighbors, we are making God known to a world that needs ...

It Will Come to Pass

Image
For I am the LORD. I speak, and the word which I speak will come to pass; — Ezekiel 12:25a (NKJV) God is not human, that he should lie, not a human being, that he should change his mind. Does he speak and then not act? Does he promise and not fulfill? (Numbers 23:19 NIV) God cannot lie (Titus 1:2). When He says He loves you and will be with you, He means it. Stand on God’s Word, which stands forever. Don't give up on your dreams. Keep believing. It will come to pass. God fulfills every promise He has spoken. Amen!

He is Mindful of Us!

Image
You who fear the LORD, trust in the LORD; He is their help and their shield. The LORD has been mindful of us; He will bless us; He will bless the house of Israel; He will bless the house of Aaron. He will bless those who fear the LORD, both small and great. — Psalm 115:11-13 (NKJV) Never feel abandoned or deserted. You are always on the mind of God, the Creator of heaven and earth. God is mindful of us. His mind is full of thoughts and plans for us. Psalm 40:5 says His thoughts about us are more than can be numbered. He has written all of your days in His book and He has plans for you to give you hope and a future. Blessings are coming your way whether you think you are small or great. Hallelujah!

Abundant Love & Faithfulness!

Your love, LORD, reaches to the heavens, your faithfulness to the skies. Your righteousness is like the highest mountains, your justice like the great deep. You, LORD, preserve both people and animals. — Psalm 36:5-6 (NIV) Not only does the LORD's unfailing love cover the earth, it reaches way up into the heavens. And nothing in this world can separate us from the love of God. His faithfulness is so great it expands to the skies, and it endures forever. The LORD is faithful in everything He does. Always be mindful of His unfailing love and live in reliance on His faithfulness (Psalm 26:4).

Place Your Confidence in God!

Tell those who have the riches of this world not to be arrogant and not to place their confidence in anything as uncertain as riches. Instead, they should place their confidence in God who richly provides us with everything to enjoy. — 1 Timothy 6:17 (GW) Don't trust in the riches of this world. It is here one day and gone the next. Place your confidence in the living God! He is always with us. He is the one who gives us the ability to produce wealth (Deut. 8:18) and He adds no sorrow with it (Proverbs 10:22). May the God of hope fill you with His amazing peace and abiding joy as you trust in Him!

Restore My Life Again

Though you have made me see troubles, many and bitter, you will restore my life again; from the depths of the earth you will again bring me up. You will increase my honor and comfort me once more. Psalm 71:20-21 (NIV) Though we suffer hardships and face many troubles, the LORD restores us to life again. When our world beneath us crumbles, He lifts us up and sets us on solid ground. In all our distress, God is the One who comforts us. Lean on the LORD!

On Our Side

If  the LORD had not been on our side - let Israel say - if the LORD had not been on our side when men attacked us, when their anger flared against us, they would have swallowed us alive; the flood would have engulfed us, the torrent would have swept over us, the raging waters would have swept us away. Psalm 124:1-5 (NIV) If God were not on our side, many of us would not have made it thus far. God is on our side. If God is for us who can be against us? The One who dwells in us is greater than the one who is in the world (1 John 4:4). The battle belongs to the LORD and nothing is too difficult for Him. Keep holding up your shield of faith and God will lead you to victory. Love, Jackie
