Manna for Your Morning

For you have made Yahweh—my refuge, the Most High—your dwelling place. No evil will befall you, and no plague will come near your tent. For He will command His angels concerning you, to guard you in all your ways. On their hands they will bear you up, lest you strike your foot against a stone. — Psalms 91:9-12 (LSB) This poor man called out, and Yahweh heard him and saved him out of all his troubles. The angel of Yahweh encamps around those who fear Him, and rescues them. O taste and see that Yahweh is good; How blessed is the man who takes refuge in Him! Psalms 34:6-8 LSB) Take refuge in the Most High, at all times. 

I will lift up my eyes to the mountains; From where shall my help come? My help comes from Yahweh, Who made heaven and earth. He will not allow your foot to stumble; He who keeps you will not slumber. — Psalms 121:1-3 (LSB) Behold, God is my helper; The Lord is the sustainer of my soul. (Psalm 54:4 NASB1995) Don’t put your confidence in powerful people; there is no help for you there. When they breathe their last, they return to the earth, and all their plans die with them. But joyful are those who have the God of Israel as their helper, whose hope is in the LORD their God. (Psalms 146:3-5 NLT) So take comfort and be encouraged. We can confidently say, “The LORD is my Helper [in time of need], I will not be afraid. What will man do to me?” (See Hebrews 13:6 AMP) The LORD is my strength and my [impenetrable] shield; My heart trusts [with unwavering confidence] in Him, and I am helped; Therefore my heart greatly rejoices, 
and with my song I shall thank Him and praise Him. — Psalms 28:7...

Finally, I confessed all my sins to you and stopped trying to hide my guilt. I said to myself, “I will confess my rebellion to the LORD.” And you forgave me! All my guilt is gone. Interlude Therefore, let all the godly pray to you while there is still time, that they may not drown in the floodwaters of judgment. For you are my hiding place; you protect me from trouble. (1 John 1:9 NASB1995) Let us abide in YAHWEH. Those who live in the shelter of the Most High will find rest in the shadow of the Almighty. This I declare about the LORD: He alone is my refuge, my place of safety; he is my God, and I trust him. For he will rescue you from every trap and protect you from deadly disease. (Psalms 91:1-3 NLT)

So Peter seeing him said to Jesus, “Lord, and what about this man?” Jesus *said to him, “If I want him to remain until I come, what is that to you? You follow Me!” — John 21:21-22 (NASB1995) Peter asked the Lord about another disciple, but Yeshua re-directed his attention back to the main thing, following Him. Sometimes we try to evaluate someone else’s walk with Yahweh. However, the Word of God says to fix our eyes on Yeshua and follow Him. Not to worry about how another person is running their race.  Likewise, we shouldn’t be worried about what other people think about how we are running our race. This will cause us to be defensive and sometimes stop us from fulfilling our mission and purpose, for fear of what others may think. We are to focus on doing what our Heavenly Father called us to do and know that our walk is unique. We each have a different course to complete, however, as members of one body, they lead us to unity and eternal life in Christ. Yahweh will show us the pat...

“ I have loved you just as the Father has loved Me; remain in My love [and do not doubt My love for you]. ” — John 15:9 (AMP) Never doubt God’s love for you. From his abundance we have all received one gracious blessing after another. For the law was given through Moses, but God’s unfailing love and faithfulness came through Jesus Christ. (John 1:16-17 NLT) We know what real love is because Jesus gave up his life for us. So we also ought to give up our lives for our brothers and sisters. (1 John 3:16 NLT) Be filled with the faith and love that come from Christ Jesus. (See 1 Timothy 1:14 NLT)  Remain in His love and consistently share it with everyone God brings your way, even those who don't act or believe the way you think they should.  For in Christ Jesus what is important is faith expressing itself in love. (See Galatians 5:6)

This is the day which the LORD has made; Let’s rejoice and be glad in it. — Psalm 118:24 (NASB) The LORD had this day written in His book before you had lived a single day. (See Psalm 139:16) Be present each moment of today. God woke you up today because He has a purpose and a plan for this day that includes you. He has gone before you and made a way. Make a choice to rejoice and be glad. So we don’t look at the troubles we can see now; rather, we fix our gaze on things that cannot be seen. For the things we see now will soon be gone, but the things we cannot see will last forever. (2 Corinthians 4:18 NLT) for we walk by faith, not by sight [living our lives in a manner consistent with our confident belief in God’s promises] — 2 Corinthians 5:7 (AMP)

For thus says the high and exalted One Who lives forever, whose name is Holy, “I dwell on a high and holy place, and also with the contrite and lowly of spirit in order to revive the spirit of the lowly and to revive the heart of the contrite.” — Isaiah 57:15 (NASB) Our living God, Who is exalted above all, dwells on a high and holy place. However, He also lives with those of a humble and repentant heart. He restores the crushed spirit and revives the heart of the contrite. And what does the LORD require of us? To do what is right, to diligently practice kindness, and to walk humbly with our God. (Micah 6:8) “ … I live in the high and holy place, yet I am with the low, the weak, and the humble. I renew their vitality and revive their strength. ” — Isaiah 57:15b (VOICE)

And in the midst of everything be always giving thanks, for this is God’s perfect plan for you in Christ Jesus. — 1 Thessalonians 5:18 (TPT) Whatever you are in the midst of today, remember to be always giving thanks to God. If circumstances are not ideal, thank God that He is bringing you through it. The situation is temporary. When you focus on lack, it makes your world seem small. Being thankful for what God has already provided helps to acknowledge our Source: our heavenly Father and it also allows room for multiple blessings to flow into our lives. Being thankful creates an atmosphere for miracles to take place. In Matthew 14, a multitude of people were with Jesus, in a deserted place and He instructed the disciples to feed them. The LORD is my rock, my fortress, and the One who rescues me; My God, my rock and strength in whom I trust and take refuge; My shield, and the horn of my salvation, my high tower—my stronghold.  — Psalm 18:2 (AMP) O taste and see that the LORD is good; How blessed is the man who takes refuge in Him! Take refuge in Him, for the battle belongs to the LORD. He will make your righteousness [your pursuit of right standing with God] like the light, and your judgment like [the shining of] the noonday [sun]. Don’t shuffle along, eyes to the ground, absorbed with the things right in front of you. Look up, and be alert to what is going on around Christ—that’s where the action is. See things from his perspective.  — Colossians 3:1-2 (MSG) I look up to the mountains— does my help come from there? My help comes from the LORD, who made heaven and earth! (Psalm 121:1-2 NLT). Take your eyes off of earthly circumstances and put them on the LORD, our helper. When we see things from His perspective, our mountains will appear as molehills and the giants before us will dwarf in comparison to our great God. When we see things from His perspective we realize what seems impossible, is possible. With God all things are possible! My voice You shall hear in the morning, O LORD; In the morning I will direct it to You, and I will look up.  (Psalm 5:3 NKJV)

...He raised up for them David as king, to whom also He gave testimony and said, ‘I have found David the son of Jesse, a man after My own heart, who will do all My will.’ — Acts 13:22 (NKJV) God said David was a man after His own heart, who will do all His will. Do you follow God wholeheartedly, doing ALL His will, or do you pick and choose what part of the Word, you will follow? My response to God this morning was, “Ouch!” Are we following Philippians 2:14, do all things without complaining and disputing? Do we cast all our cares on the Lord? Are we forgiving and letting no root of bitterness grow, in our garden of unconditional love? When challenged to do all His will, let us remember this: God was ALL in, when He gave His only Son as a sacrifice to save our souls from eternal damnation. Let’s be sold out for Jesus and be about the Father’s business 100%.

The path of the righteous is like the morning sun, shining ever brighter till the full light of day. — Proverbs 4:18 (NIV) The road of wrongdoing gets darker and darker (Proverbs 4:19 MSG). However, our paths, and lives as believers are to shine brighter and brighter. As we follow Christ and become more like Him, we go from glory to glory, and shine like stars in the midst of darkness. We can look forward to each day and expect great things because God is always doing something new in our lives, in us and in our circumstances. In Isaiah 43:19 (NIV), “He says see, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it?”

The LORD is my shepherd; I have all that I need. He lets me rest in green meadows; he leads me beside peaceful streams. He renews my strength. He guides me along right paths, bringing honor to his name. Even when I walk through the darkest valley, I will not be afraid, for you are close beside me. — Psalm 23:1-4 (NLT) The LORD is close beside you and He will give you rest on every side. He will renew your strength so you can spread your wings and soar like an eagle. With the LORD on your side, who can stand against you? You have all that you need. Amen!

This is what the LORD says— your Redeemer, the Holy One of Israel: “I am the LORD your God, who teaches you what is best for you, who directs you in the way you should go. If only you had paid attention to my commands, your peace would have been like a river, your well-being like the waves of the sea. — Isaiah 48:17-18 (NIV) Our heavenly Father only wants the best for us. When we obey Him, we will experience a deep and constant flow of peace. And when the stormy waves come in, one after another, it will be well with our souls, because the LORD will show us what to do, and which way to go.

Martha was upset about all the work she had to do. So she asked, “Lord, don’t you care that my sister has left me to do the work all by myself? Tell her to help me.” The Lord answered her, “Martha, Martha! You worry and fuss about a lot of things. There’s only one thing you need. Mary has made the right choice, and that one thing will not be taken away from her.”  — Luke 10:40-42 (GW) Mary sat at the Lord’s feet and listened to what He said, while Martha was distracted by all the preparations that had to be made. Don't get distracted with the things of this world. Stay focused on the main thing. Jesus said there is only one essential thing and Mary made the right choice. Choose Jesus, the Living Word!

May he grant your heart’s desires and make all your plans succeed. May we shout for joy when we hear of your victory and raise a victory banner in the name of our God. May the Lord answer all your prayers. Psalm 20:4-5 (NLT) Now this is the confidence that we have in Him, that if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us. And if we know that He hears us, whatever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we have asked of Him (1 John 5:14-15, NKJ). As you abide in the LORD and let His Word abide in you, ask for your heart's desire and He will answer all your prayers, (John 15:7). God will give you success with all your plans and others will shout a joyful praise to God when they hear of your victory!

We now have this light shining in our hearts, but we ourselves are like fragile clay jars containing this great treasure. This makes it clear that our great power is from God, not from ourselves. We are pressed on every side by troubles, but we are not crushed. We are perplexed, but not driven to despair. We are hunted down, but never abandoned by God. We get knocked down, but we are not destroyed. 2 Corinthians 4:7-9 (NLT) Troubles may be pressing in on us, but we are not crushed. Even when we don't understand, we keep our hope alive and stand firm in our faith. We may get knocked down, but we are not destroyed. God's great power inside of us helps us overcome any hardship. At that time I said to you, "You are too heavy a burden for me to carry alone." But how can I bear your problems, and your burdens and your disputes all by myself?" Deuteronomy 1:9, 12 (NIV) In the above Scripture, Moses is talking to the Israelites. He is feeling the pressure of trying to lead the people. We will often feel overwhelmed with life when we think we are facing the challenges alone. God does not expect you to do anything all by yourself. He has promised never to leave us or forsake us. He tells us He will be with us in the fire and in the storm (Isaiah 43:2). He has given us His Holy Spirit to be our guide and our comforter. We are never alone. God is our help.
