Greater love has no one than this, that one lay down his life for his friends. You are My friends if you do what I command you. — John 15:13-14 (NASB1995) Yeshua is a friend who sticks closer than a brother. He was pierced through for our transgressions, He was crushed for our iniquities; the chastening for our well-being fell upon Him… (see Isaiah 53:5). Proverbs 17:17 (NASB1995) says: A friend loves at all times. Our Savior and Redeemer is that friend and our example.  We are His friends, IF we do what He commands us to do. We have to abide in Him and His word must abide in us. Adulterers and adulteresses! Do you not know that friendship with the world is enmity with God? Whoever therefore wants to be a friend of the world makes himself an enemy of God. (James 4:4 NKJV) Yahweh has set before us life and good, death and evil. We must choose for ourselves this day whom we will serve. But as for me and my house, we will serve the LORD.( See Joshua 24:15 and Deuteronomy 30:15) Amen...

Bless the LORD, O my soul; and all that is within me, bless His holy name! He is everything that we will ever need. He is a constant Companion and a Faithful Friend forever. He is our GPS, as He leads us and guides us along on the path of life. He is our Healer, and the One who makes us whole. He is our Champion; our battles belong to Him and He has given us the victory! Because of Jesus, we are more than conquerors, we overcome. The LORD is kind and compassionate, full of mercy and grace. He has not dealt with us according to our sins, nor punished us according to our iniquities. You are My friends if you do whatever I command you. ”  — John 15:13-14 (NKJV) Jesus showed Himself a faithful friend when He gave His life to set us free and bring us into eternal fellowship with the Father. When you need a friend, Jesus is always there. He is a constant companion, and will never abandon you. He is compassionate and continually cares for you. Take whatever concerns you have to Him. Jesus is a [true, loving] friend who [is reliable and] sticks closer than a brother. (Proverbs 18:24b AMP). He is a loyal friend who loves at all times. (Proverbs 17:17a NKJV) Let us show ourselves friendly to God, by doing whatever He commands: loving Him with all of our hearts and souls, and by loving our neighbors as we love ourselves. (Matthew 22:37, 39) Amen.
