Be Fully Convinced

Image
“He did not waver at the promise of God through unbelief, but was strengthened in faith, giving glory to God, and being fully convinced that what He had promised He was also able to perform.” — Romans 4:20-21 (NKJV) Like Abraham, may we never doubt the promises of Yahweh. …for he who doubts is like a wave of the sea driven and tossed by the wind. (See James 1:6 NKJV) Then we will no longer be like children, forever changing our minds about what we believe because someone has told us something different or has cleverly lied to us and made the lie sound like the truth. (Ephesians 4:14 TLB) Let us seize and hold tightly the confession of our hope without wavering, for He who promised is reliable and trustworthy and faithful [to His word]; (Hebrews 10:23 AMP) He actively watches over His word to fulfill it. (See Jeremiah 1:12 AMP) Let your faith grow strong, and be confident that He is able.  “...with God all things are possible.” (See Matthew 19:26) ‘Ah Lord GOD! Behold, You have...

Live by Believing

Image
For we live by believing and not by seeing. — 2 Corinthians 5:7 (NLT) GOD’S WORD Translation says: “Indeed, our lives are guided by faith, not by sight.” (2 Corinthians 5:7 GW). Faith assures us of things we expect and convinces us of the existence of things we cannot see. (Hebrews 11:1 GW). May our faith in God and in His Word guide our lives, because it is impossible to please God without faith. (Hebrews 11:6) May faith guide what we choose to think about, what we believe, what we say and all of our actions. Doubt and unbelief lead to anxiety, worry, and fear. Imitate those who through faith and patience inherit the promises (Hebrews 6:12 NKJV). Live by believing. Believe that God loves you. Believe that He wants the best for you. Believe that all God’s promises in His Word are yes and amen, for you.

Strong & Empowered

But he did not doubt or waver in unbelief concerning the promise of God, but he grew strong and empowered by faith, giving glory to God, being fully convinced that God had the power to do what He had promised. — Romans 4:20-21 (AMP) Abraham took God at His Word, when He said he would have a son. He did not consider the past infertility of his wife. He faced the fact that his body was as good as dead—since he was about a hundred years old—and that Sarah’s womb was also dead, but He didn’t allow the facts to weaken his faith. (Romans 4:19) When current conditions appear hopeless, don't waver in unbelief, and have no doubt. Live fully persuaded that God is able to make good on all His wonderful promises. Just as Abraham grew, let us grow strong and empowered by our faith, as we progress from one glory to another. Faith looks through the shortcomings of yesterday. It sees beyond the realities of today and actively pursues the promises and possibilities available in God.

Be Fully Convinced

He did not waver at the promise of God through unbelief, but was strengthened in faith, giving glory to God, and being fully convinced that what He had promised He was also able to perform. — Romans 4:20-21 (NKJV) Now is not the time to waver in unbelief concerning the promises of God, nor doubt and be driven and tossed by the wind like a wave in the sea. We have a great big God, doing great big things! The Message Bible says Abraham plunged into the promise and came up strong, ready for God, sure that God would make good on what he had said. Let us follow in the footsteps of Abraham, the Father of faith. Be strengthened in faith, give glory to God and be fully convinced that He will fulfill what He has promised. Amen!

Got Faith?

Now He did not do many mighty works there because of their unbelief. — Matthew 13:58 (NKJV) What mighty works are hindered in our lives by unbelief? He who doubts is like a wave of the sea driven and tossed by the wind. Let not that man suppose that he will receive anything from the Lord (James 1:6-7). Our faith is the hinge that opens the door to all God has for us. Without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him (Hebrews 11:6). The Message Bible says, anyone who wants to approach God must believe both that he exists and that he cares enough to respond to those who seek him (Hebrews 11:6b).

Be Fully Convinced!

He did not waver at the promise of God through unbelief, but was strengthened in faith, giving glory to God, and being fully convinced that what He had promised He was also able to perform. — Romans 4:20-21 (NKJV) When God told Abraham, he would be the father of many nations, He did not consider his own body, already dead (about 100 years old), and the deadness of Sarah's womb (Romans 4:19). No matter how hopeless or dead situations may appear in your life, be fully persuaded, 100% confident, that God is able turn it around. The Message Bible says, Abraham plunged into the promise and came up strong, ready for God, sure that God would make good on what he had said. Be strengthened in your faith today!

They Were Listening

Having received such a charge, he put them into the inner prison and fastened their feet in the stocks. But at midnight Paul and Silas were praying and singing hymns to God, and the prisoners were listening to them.  — Acts 16:24-25 (NKJV) Paul and Silas had their clothes torn off, were beaten with rods and then thrown into prison, yet at midnight, they were praying and singing praises to God. They did not get caught up in doubt, unbelief or fear. On your worst day, when it seems as though the enemy has you imprisoned, what sounds come out of your mouth? Hebrews 12:1 says, we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses. Let us fight the good fight of faith by praying and praising God always, no matter what the circumstance. You don't know whose salvation is hanging in the balance as they see and hear your faithfulness or lack of it. Amen!
