“ I would have despaired unless I had believed that I would see the goodness of Yahweh in the land of the living. ” — Psalms 27:13 (LSB) “Blessed is the man who trusts in the LORD, and whose hope is the LORD. (Jeremiah 17:7 NKJV) In the day of despair, gloom, and doom, keep your hope in Yahweh alive and active. As for me, I will hope continually, and will praise Him yet more and more. (See Psalms 71:14 NKJV) “Here’s what I’ve learned through it all: Don’t give up; don’t be impatient; be entwined as one with the Lord. Be brave and courageous, and never lose hope. Yes, keep on waiting—for he will never disappoint you!” (Psalms 27:14 TPT)  The LORD God of Heaven’s Armies is entirely faithful. And His faithfulness extends to every generation... (See Psalms 89:8 & 119:90 NLT) He watches over His Word to perform it. What He has spoken shall be done. Be of good courage, and He shall strengthen your heart, all you who hope in the LORD. (Psalms 31:24 NKJV)

I would have despaired unless I had believed that I would see the goodness of Yahweh in the land of the living. — Psalms 27:13 (LSB) Why are you in despair, O my soul? And why have you become disturbed within me? Hope in God, for I shall again praise Him for the help of His presence. (Psalms 42:5 NASB1995) Keep your hope in Yahweh alive and active. In Jeremiah 29:11 (LSB), He says: “For I know the plans that I have for you,’ declares Yahweh, ‘plans for peace and not for calamity, to give you a future and a hope.” Let us draw near with confidence to the throne of grace, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help in time of need. (See Hebrews 4:16) “Here’s what I’ve learned through it all: Don’t give up; don’t be impatient; be entwined as one with the Lord. Be brave and courageous, and never lose hope. in the land of the living. — Psalms 27:13 (LSB) Second Corinthians 4:8 (NLT) says: We are pressed on every side by troubles, but we are not crushed. We are perplexed, but not driven to despair. What keeps us from being in despair? Believing that we will see the goodness of Almighty God in the land of the living. Remember, without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him. (See Hebrews 11:6 NKJV) So let us walk by faith, not by sight [living our lives in a manner consistent with our confident belief in God’s promises] (See 2 Corinthians 5:7 AMP) Know that our God is a Promise Keeper. He fulfills every promise He has spoken. In Isaiah 55:11 (NKJV), He says: “So shall My word be that goes forth from My mouth; It shall not return to Me void, but it shall accomplish what I please, and it shall prosper ...

I would have despaired unless I had believed that I would see the goodness of the LORD in the land of the living. Wait for the LORD; Be strong and let your heart take courage; Yes, wait for the LORD. — Psalm 27:13-14 (NASB) If you are in despair, chances are you have been focusing on the problem rather than His Presence, or fretting about your future. When we fix our eyes on Jesus, we know that we are more than conquerors. When we lift up our eyes to the hills— from whence comes our help, we are above the circumstances and not underneath. Here’s what I’ve learned through it all: Don’t give up; don’t be impatient; be entwined as one with the Lord. Be brave and courageous, and never lose hope. Yes, keep on waiting—for he will never disappoint you! (Psalm 27:14 TPT) Trust in Him at all times, you people; Pour out your heart before Him; God is a refuge for us. Selah (Psalm 62:8 NKJV)

Open your mouth and taste, open your eyes and see— how good God is. Blessed are you who run to him. — Psalm 34:8 (MSG) Oh, taste and see that the LORD is good; Blessed is the man who trusts in Him! (Psalm 34:8 NKJV)  The LORD is good and He does good. His plans for us are good. Oh, that men would give thanks to the LORD for His goodness, and for His wonderful works to the children of men! (Psalm 107:8 NJV) Trust God to work everything together for good in your life, no matter how things may appear at this moment in time. I would have despaired had I not believed that I would see the goodness of the LORD In the land of the living. (Psalm 27:13 AMP)

We do not want you to be uninformed, brothers and sisters, about the troubles we experienced in the province of Asia. We were under great pressure, far beyond our ability to endure, so that we despaired of life itself. Indeed, we felt we had received the sentence of death. But this happened that we might not rely on ourselves but on God, who raises the dead. — 2 Corinthians 1:8-9 (NIV) When you are experiencing troubles of any kind or feeling greatly pressured, it's an opportunity to put your trust in God. Cast all your cares on Him and rely on Him to show you the way out or through. The Message Bible says: As it turned out, it was the best thing that could have happened. Instead of trusting in our own strength or wits to get out of it, we were forced to trust God totally—not a bad idea since he’s the God who raises the dead! And he did it, rescued us from certain doom. And he’ll do it again, rescuing us as many times as we need rescuing. (2 Corinthians 1:9-10 MSG)

I would have despaired unless I had believed that I would see the goodness of the LORD In the land of the living. — Psalm 27:13 (NASB) No matter how circumstances may appear at the moment, don’t lose heart. Be confident that you will see the goodness of the LORD, here in the land of the living. Instead of worrying about how the situation will be resolved or when it will come to an end, take comfort in knowing that God will work it all together for good. You may not know how and when, but you do know WHO . God has already made a way for you. Keep your eyes on Him and He will lead  you through. Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done. Then you will experience God’s peace, which exceeds anything we can understand. His peace will guard your hearts and minds as you live in Christ Jesus. (Philippians 4:6-7 NLT)

So take courage! For I believe God. It will be just as he said. — Acts 27:25 (NLT) No matter how your situation may look right now, continue to believe God, that all will be just as He said. I would have despaired had I not believed that I would see the goodness of the LORD in the land of the living (Psalm 27:13 AMP). Take God at His Word. The grass withers, the flower fades, but the word of our God stands forever (Isaiah 40:8 NKJV). You will see the goodness of the LORD in the land of the living. “Blessed are those who have not seen and yet have believed.” (John 20:29 NKJV).

But this happened that we might not rely on ourselves but on God, who raises the dead. — 2 Corinthians 1:8b-9 (NIV) Sometimes, life events may cause us to wonder if we are going to live through them. However, when we are totally overwhelmed beyond our ability to endure, we learn to rely only on God. Any strength or power we have, comes from our great God, not from ourselves. We may be pressed on every side by troubles, but we are not crushed. We may be perplexed, but we are not driven to despair. We are hunted down, but we are never abandoned by God. We get knocked down, but we are not destroyed! (2 Corinthians 4:8-9). So we can get back up again. Amen and Hallelujah!
