Trust in the LORD Always

Image
“You will keep in perfect peace all who trust in you, all whose thoughts are fixed on you! Trust in the LORD always, for the LORD GOD is the eternal Rock.” — Isaiah 26:3-4 (NLT) Who will the LORD keep in perfect peace? ALL who trust in Him. Trust confidently in YAH. When should we trust God? Always , at all times and in every season. Isaiah 26:8 (NLT) says, we show our trust in Him by obeying His laws. Lean entirely on Him and know that you are sustained by Him alone. When we trust Yahweh, He is the first One we run to, in times of trouble. We don’t go to Him as a last resort. When we trust in the LORD, our minds are not consumed by the challenges that confront us. Instead, our thoughts are focused on Yahweh, His Presence with us, His goodness, His faithfulness, etc. He is a mighty, mighty God, and nothing is too difficult for Him. He will keep us in perfect and constant peace as our thoughts stay focused on Him. “Yes, trust in the Lord YAHWEH forever and ever! For Yah, the Lord God,...

Walk With God

Image
He has told you, O man, what is good; And what does Yahweh require of you but to do justice, to love lovingkindness, and to walk humbly with your God? — Micah 6:8 (LSB) Walk with God. Don’t run ahead of Him, or take that detour away from Him. Follow Him closely wherever He leads. Don’t delay and stay behind when He is calling you onward and upward. How do we do this? By humbling ourselves under the mighty hand of God. (See 1 Peter 5:6). When we are submitted to His will, we consistently choose to do what is right, and diligently practice kindness and compassion. To walk with Yahweh is to walk in love. “Love is patient and kind. Love is not jealous or boastful or proud or rude. It does not demand its own way. It is not irritable, and it keeps no record of being wronged.” (1 Corinthians 13:4-5 NLT)  My soul follows close behind You; Your right hand upholds me. — Psalms 63:8 (NKJV)

Perfect & Constant Peace

Image
You will keep in perfect and constant peace the one whose mind is steadfast [that is, committed and focused on You—in both inclination and character], because he trusts and takes refuge in You [with hope and confident expectation]. Trust [confidently] in the LORD forever [He is your fortress, your shield, your banner], for the LORD GOD is an everlasting Rock [the Rock of Ages]. — Isaiah 26:3-4 (AMP) May we keep our ears and minds closed to the lies of the enemy. As our minds stay focused on Yahweh and His goodness, we will experience perfect and constant peace, because we trust and take refuge in Him. How great is our God! We can trust in the LORD forever. He is the God Most High, the all-powerful One. Trust confidently in Him. Never doubt that Yahweh will come through for you.  Let us take every thought captive. If a thought doesn't line up with the Holy Scriptures and the loving nature of our heavenly Father, cast it down. God is our Helper and the sustainer of our souls (See Psa...

Relief

Image
When the LORD saw their change of heart, he gave this message to Shemaiah: “Since the people have humbled themselves, I will not completely destroy them and will soon give them some relief…” — 2 Chronicles 12:7 (NLT) In 2 Chronicles 7:14 (NLT), the LORD says, “…if my people who are called by my name will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, I will hear from heaven and will forgive their sins and restore their land.” Relief for the people and restoration of the land comes when the people of God humble themselves and seek His face. Pride causes people to manipulate situations and try to force their own way, but the humble seek God’s will. They are led by the Spirit of God and do things His way, which always lines up with His Word. “I warned the proud, ‘Stop your boasting!’ I told the wicked, ‘Don’t raise your fists! Don’t raise your fists in defiance at the heavens or speak with such arrogance.’” For no one on earth—from east or west, or even from...

Follow His Lead

Image
“…I will pour out my Spirit upon all people. Your sons and daughters will prophesy. Your old men will dream dreams, and your young men will see visions. In those days I will pour out my Spirit even on servants—men and women alike.” — Joel 2:28-29 (NLT) What an honor and extreme privilege that as believers, we now have the Spirit of the living God dwelling inside of us. For all who are being led by the Spirit of God, these are sons and daughters of God. (Romans 8:14 NASB) And because you belong to him, the power of the life-giving Spirit has freed you from the power of sin that leads to death. (Romans 8:2 NLT) …letting your sinful nature control your mind leads to death. But letting the Spirit control your mind leads to life and peace. (Romans 8:6 NLT) Since we are living by the Spirit, let us follow the Spirit’s leading in every part of our lives. (Galatians 5:25 NLT) Teach me to do your will, for you are my God. May your gracious Spirit lead me forward on a firm footing. — Psalm 143:...

Fullness of Joy

Image
You will show me the path of life; In Your presence is fullness of joy; In Your right hand there are pleasures forevermore. — Psalm 16:11 (AMP) Truly, it is the Presence of the LORD Who makes our joy complete. What an honor and privilege for us to be able to enter into His Holy Presence. What a pleasure to have His Holy Spirit dwelling in us, helping us, and comforting us. We get to experience His everlasting peace, in the midst of worldly chaos and confusion. As ambassadors for the Kingdom of God, we are to live a life of goodness and peace and joy in the Holy Spirit. (See Romans 14:17 NLT) Abide in His Presence and let your heart be filled with joy. Now may God, the inspiration and fountain of hope, fill you to overflowing with uncontainable joy and perfect peace as you trust in him. And may the power of the Holy Spirit continually surround your life with his super-abundance until you radiate with hope! — Romans 15:13 (TPT)

Freely Give

Image
Give, and it will be given to you. They will pour into your lap a good measure—pressed down, shaken together, and running over [with no space left for more]. For with the standard of measurement you use [when you do good to others], it will be measured to you in return.” — Luke 6:38 (AMP) Every good thing given and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights, with whom there is no variation or shifting shadow.  (James 1:17 NASB) God continually pours out His love upon us. He gives us His peace and grace. He forgives us and sets us free. As God has freely given to us, let us give freely to others. Those who live to bless others will have blessings heaped upon them, and the one who pours out his life to pour out blessings will be saturated with favor. — Proverbs 11:25 (TPT)

Gracious is the LORD

Image
Gracious is the LORD, and righteous; Yes, our God is compassionate. The LORD preserves the simple; I was brought low, and He saved me. Return to your rest, O my soul, for the LORD has dealt bountifully with you. — Psalm 116:5-7 (NASB) Our God is full of grace and compassion. When difficult circumstances bring you down, look up, to Abba Father. He is an ever-present help. The Message Bible says, God takes the side of the helpless... (Psalm 116:6). He will right the wrongs.     Our heavenly Father shines His light, in times of darkness. Keep your trust in Him and He will deal bountifully with you. And the Eternal watches over the naive. Whenever I was knocked down, He reached down and saved me. O my soul! Return and relax. Come to your true rest, for the Eternal has showered you with His favor. —Psalm 116:6-7 (The Voice)

Great is His Mercy

Image
The LORD is merciful and gracious, slow to anger, and abounding in mercy. — Psalm 103:8 (NKJV) He has not dealt with us according to our sins, nor punished us according to our iniquities. For as the heavens are high above the earth, so great is His mercy toward those who fear Him; (Psalm 103:10-11) The mercy of the LORD is from everlasting to everlasting on those who fear Him, and His righteousness to children’s children, (Psalm 103:17). But God, who is rich in mercy, because of His great love with which He loved us, even when we were dead in trespasses, made us alive together with Christ (by grace you have been saved), (Ephesians 2:4-5). Let us therefore come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need. (Hebrews 4:16)

The LORD Will Provide

Image
And Abraham called the name of the place, The-LORD-Will-Provide; as it is said to this day, “In the Mount of the LORD it shall be provided.” — Genesis 22:14 (NKJV) As the Israelites journeyed in the desert for forty years, God provided all they needed. He gave them water from a rock and fed them daily with manna, bread from heaven (Exodus 16:4, 17:6). When they complained about having no meat, He sent quail (Numbers 11:31). In those forty years, their clothes did not wear out nor did their sandals. (Deuteronomy 29:5). The LORD is faithful and He always provides for His people. Take your eyes off of your limited resources, and look to your heavenly Father who loves you. He has an infinite supply, more than enough. Seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you. (Matthew 6:33 NKJV). No good thing will He withhold from those who walk uprightly. (Psalm 84:11)

He is Willing

Image
A man with leprosy came and knelt in front of Jesus, begging to be healed. “If you are willing, you can heal me and make me clean,” he said. Moved with compassion, Jesus reached out and touched him. “I am willing,” he said. “Be healed!” — Mark 1:40-41 (NLT) The great I AM is always willing. He heals the sick, restores the broken, and gives life to that which is dead. Jesus is moved with compassion, to answer the needs of those who seek Him. Ask in faith and look expectantly to Him, our provider. He is the source of our strength, and hope. Give thanks and praise the Lord for his unfailing grace, mercy and compassion.

Don’t Give Up!

Image
We have troubles all around us, but we are not defeated. We do not know what to do, but we do not give up the hope of living. We are persecuted, but God does not leave us. We are hurt sometimes, but we are not destroyed. — 2 Corinthians 4:8-9  (NCV) Look at the troubles before you, as opportunities for God to display His greatness. No matter what hostile environments we must endure, God is there with us. We are not abandoned nor forgotten. We may get hurt, but we are not destroyed. Never give up the hope of living the abundant and fruitful life Jesus came to give us (John 10:10).

Receive Him Joyfully

Image
And when Jesus came to the place, He looked up and saw him, and said to him, “Zacchaeus, make haste and come down, for today I must stay at your house.” So he made haste and came down, and received Him joyfully. — Luke 19:5-6 (NKJV) Zacchaeus wanted to see who Jesus was, but because he was short he could not see over the crowd. So he ran ahead and climbed a sycamore-fig tree to see Him, for He was going to pass that way (Luke 19:3-4). What kind of action are we taking to ensure that we can see the Lord? Let's not fall short when it comes to seeking God. Jesus does reside in our house, our physical bodies. Welcome Him into every room, with great joy and excitement. What a privilege to have His Spirit dwelling inside of us. Amen!

Call Upon Him!

“Offer to God thanksgiving, and pay your vows to the Most High. Call upon Me in the day of trouble;  I will deliver you, and you shall glorify Me.”  — Psalm 50:14-15 (NKJV) Let your offering to God be a thankful heart and a willing spirit. Keep the promises you have uttered to God, to make Him the Lord of your life by being a good witness for His kingdom. Abba Father beckons you, to call upon Him in the day of trouble. Always draw near to Him, in good times and bad. Look to the hills, from where your help comes. The arm of man is limited, but ALL things are possible with our mighty, mighty God!

Call and He Will Answer!

But You, O LORD, are a shield about me, My glory, and the One who lifts my head. I was crying to the LORD with my voice, And He answered me from His holy mountain. Psalm 3:3-4 (NAS) Our heavenly Father is a protective shield around us. He is the lifter of your head, full of glory and grace. Call out to the LORD and He will answer. Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God (Philippians 4:6).

Still Standing

Be prepared. You're up against far more than you can handle on your own. Take all the help you can get, every weapon God has issued, so that when it's all over but the shouting you'll still be on your feet. Truth, righteousness, peace, faith, and salvation are more than words. Learn how to apply them. You'll need them throughout your life. God's Word is an indispensable weapon. In the same way, prayer is essential in this ongoing warfare. Pray hard and long. Pray for your brothers and sisters. Keep your eyes open. Keep each other's spirits up so that no one falls behind or drops out. Ephesians 6:13-18 (The Message) Make sure you use every weapon God has given us to fight this spiritual war, if you want to be still standing strong in the LORD, when its all over.

He Acts on Your Behalf

Since ancient times no one has heard, no ear has  perceived, no eye has seen any God besides you,  who acts on behalf of those who wait for him. Isaiah 64:4 (NIV) The ways of the LORD are higher than our ways and as we wait patiently for Him, He acts on our behalf. Our battles belong to the LORD and He gives us the victory. He delivers us from all our troubles. Wait upon the LORD, follow Him and overflowing joy, peace and prosperity will be yours. He will lead you along the path of abundant life on earth and eternal life in heaven. Praise the LORD! Love, Jackie
