Manna for Your Morning

He brought me to the banqueting house, and his banner over me was love. — Song of Solomon 2:4 (NKJV) In Exodus 17:15 (NLT), Moses built an altar there and named it Yahweh-Nissi (which means “the LORD is my banner”). His banner over us is one of love and victory. God gives us victory over the world, our flesh and the devil. Now thanks be to God who always leads us in triumph in Christ, and through us diffuses the fragrance of His knowledge in every place. (2 Corinthians 2:14 NKJV) You have set up a banner for those who fear You [with awe-inspired reverence and submissive wonder—a banner to shield them from attack], a banner that may be displayed because of the truth. Selah. (Psalms 60:4 AMP)  His banner over us is a banner of deliverance and salvation. In that day the heir to David’s throne will be a banner of salvation to all the world. The nations will rally to him, and the land where he lives will be a glorious place. (Isaiah 11:10 NLT)

The LORD is exalted, for He dwells on high; He has filled Zion with justice and righteousness. And He will be the security and stability of your times, a treasure of salvation, wisdom and knowledge; The fear of the LORD is your treasure. — Isaiah 33:5-6 (AMP) The world may be in a constant state of change, and the current culture may call what is good, bad and say what is bad, is good, but our Everlasting God does not change. (See Malachi 4:6) Forever, His word is settled in heaven [standing firm and unchangeable]. (See Psalms 119:89 AMP) When we stand on the Word of God, we are standing on solid ground. May we look to Yahweh for our security and stability, and seek Him for the wisdom and knowledge we need to successfully navigate our journey through life. Therefore the Lord GOD says this, “Listen carefully, I am laying in Zion a Stone, a tested Stone, a precious Cornerstone for the [secure] foundation, firmly placed. He who believes [who trusts in, relies on, and adheres to that Ston...

So we don’t look at the troubles we can see now; rather, we fix our gaze on things that cannot be seen. For the things we see now will soon be gone, but the things we cannot see will last forever. — 2 Corinthians 4:18 (NLT) Let us look away from all that will distract us and focus our eyes on Jesus, who is the Author and Perfecter of faith. For the joy that was set before Him, He endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God. (See Hebrews 12:2 AMP/NKJV)  For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh and the lust of the eyes and the boastful pride of life, is not from the Father, but is from the world. (1 John 2:16NASB) May your eyes be continually toward the Lord. To You I have raised my eyes, You who are enthroned in the heavens! — Psalm 123:1 (NASB)

“Behold, the days are coming,” says the Lord God, “That I will send a famine on the land, not a famine of bread, nor a thirst for water, but of hearing the words of the LORD. They shall wander from sea to sea, and from north to east; They shall run to and fro, seeking the word of the LORD, but shall not find it. — Amos 8:11-12 (NKJV) Instead of a constant stream of the negative news, let us diligently seek the Word of the LORD. May we treasure it in our hearts, that we may not sin against Yahweh. (See Psalm 119:11) The word of the LORD is very pure and proven. (See Psalm 119:140, 18:30). Forever, His Word is settled in heaven. (See Psalm 119:89) His word is a lamp to our feet and a light to our path. (Psalm 119:105) It will show us the way we are to go. His Word is truth (Psalm 119:142) and when you know the truth, the truth shall make you free. (See John 8:32) Amen. 

But without faith it is impossible to [walk with God and] please Him, for whoever comes [near] to God must [necessarily] believe that God exists and that He rewards those who [earnestly and diligently] seek Him. — Hebrews 11:6 (AMP) Often times we weary ourselves out attempting to do too many things, or trying to get something in our own strength, instead we are to be filled and led by the Spirit of God. He will lead us and guide us and give us the strength to do what He has called us to do. In John 14:1, Jesus implores us to believe in God and believe also in Him. No matter how circumstances may appear, let us continually believe God and His Word.  Receive the God of Israel as the One who is faithful to perform every Word He has spoken. Receive Him as the Source of the breath of life within us and the Sovereign God, above all. Receive Him as the God Who Sees You (El Roi) and the One Who has made a way for you. He is our Provider, our Healer, our Righteousness, our Prince of Peace...

 “ I am the sprouting vine and you’re my branches. As you live in union with me as your source, fruitfulness will stream from within you— but when you live separated from me you are powerless .” — John 15:5 (TPT) When we decide to do things our own way or choose to go along with the ways of this world, we disconnect from Jesus, our source. As long as we are disconnected from Him, we are powerless and unfruitful. John 15:4 (TPT) says, your life will be fruitless unless you live your life intimately joined to Jesus. So now, beloved ones, stand firm, stable, and enduring. Live your lives with an unshakable confidence. We know that we prosper and excel in every season by serving the Lord, because we are assured that our union with the Lord makes our labor productive with fruit that endures.
