“Come to Me, all who are weary and heavily burdened [by religious rituals that provide no peace], and I will give you rest [refreshing your souls with salvation] . — Matthew 11:28 (AMP) May we set aside religious rituals and man-made rules and enjoy a genuine, intimate relationship with Jesus Christ, our Savior. The One who gave His life to set us free. Instead of seeking a dead religion, enjoy a rich and satisfying relationship with a living God who loves you so very much. He is the Prince of Peace and He has given His peace to us (John 14:27). He is Immanuel,” which is translated, “God with us.” (Matthew 1:23) Walk and talk with Him daily. Cast all your cares on Him for He cares for you.

This is how we know we’re living steadily and deeply in him, and he in us: He’s given us life from his life, from his very own Spirit. Also, we’ve seen for ourselves and continue to state openly that the Father sent his Son as Savior of the world. Everyone who confesses that Jesus is God’s Son participates continuously in an intimate relationship with God. We know it so well, we’ve embraced it heart and soul, this love that comes from God. God is love. When we take up permanent residence in a life of love, we live in God and God lives in us. — 1 John 4:13-16 (MSG) Embrace God’s unfailing and never ending love. Take up permanent residence in a life of love. God is mindful of us. May we be mindful of Him, in all His wonder, glory and beauty. Let us actively participate in a love relationship with our Creator and heavenly Father. Then we will be able to walk in love with everyone God brings our way. The LORD is close to all who call on him, yes, to all who call on him in truth. — Psalm 145:18 (NLT) The key to experiencing a successful, productive and prosperous life is to consistently walk closely with our heavenly Father. We were created for fellowship with Abba Father and His Son, Jesus Christ our Lord. Psalm 27:10 NLT says, even if my father and mother abandon me, the LORD will hold me close. Our hearts long for that fellowship and anything else we use as a substitute leaves us empty. When we wander away from Him, we are like sheep gone astray. We end up falling into ditches and dark places. We don’t have to go to any particular place to maintain a closer walk with Him, since our body is His temple. We maintain a close intimate relationship with Him by having a continual conversation as we go about our day and always giving thanks. We keep that connection with Him as we praise Him for all He is doing and worship Him for who He is.  Come close to God, and God will come...

So the Word became human and made his home among us. He was full of unfailing love and faithfulness. And we have seen his glory, the glory of the Father’s one and only Son. — John 1:14 (NLT) Christ Jesus makes His home among His people. He dwells within us. He is full of unfailing love and faithfulness. That means that His love will never fail us. If everyone in your life deserts you, know that the Lord will stand by you. If you're not feeling loved by the Lord, then you have been listening to the lies of the enemy. Nothing will ever stop His flow of love to you. We do not have to earn His love. He loves us because it is who He is. No matter how you feel emotionally or how circumstances may appear, continue to rely on His love. Everyone who confesses that Jesus is God’s Son participates continuously in an intimate relationship with God. (1 John 4:15 MSG) And so we know and rely on the love God has for us. (1 John 4:16 NIV)

Then Samuel said to the people, “Do not fear. You have done all this wickedness; yet do not turn aside from following the LORD, but serve the LORD with all your heart. Starting from scratch, he made the entire human race and made the earth hospitable, with plenty of time and space for living so we could seek after God, and not just grope around in the dark but actually find him. He doesn’t play hide-and-seek with us. He’s not remote; he’s near. — Acts 17:26-27 (MSG) Don’t just settle for knowing about God. Instead of groping around in the dark, actually take the time to draw near to Him and develop an intimate relationship with Him, the Creator of the heavenly lights. There is nothing on your "To Do" list that is more important than spending time with the One who deeply and completely loves you. For in Him we live and move and have our being (Acts 17:28). The LORD is near to all who call upon Him, to all who call upon Him in truth (Psalm 145:18). It is good for us to draw near to God (Psalm 73:28). He allows nothing to separate us from His unfailing love.
