Manna for Your Morning

“ I knew you before I formed you in your mother’s womb. Before you were born I set you apart and appointed you as my prophet to the nations. ” — Jeremiah 1:5 (NLT)

Just as the LORD knew Jeremiah before he was formed in his mother’s womb, He knew you. Oh yes, He shaped you first inside, then out; He formed you in your mother’s womb. He knows you inside and out, He knows every bone in your body; He knows exactly how you were made, bit by bit, how you were sculpted from nothing into something. (See Psalm 139:13, 15-16 MSG).  Yahweh created each one of us with a plan and a purpose. He knows the plans He has for you (See Jeremiah 29:11), and He will reveal them to you step by step. A man’s mind plans his way [as he journeys through life], but the LORD directs his steps and establishes them. (Proverbs 16:9 AMP) Seek His will in all that you do and follow the lead of His Holy Spirit within you. This is what the LORD says— your Redeemer, the Holy One of Israel: “I am the LORD your God, w...

You did not choose Me but I chose you, and appointed you that you would go and bear fruit, and that your fruit would remain, so that whatever you ask of the Father in My name He may give to you. — John 15:16 (NASB) Even before He made the world, God loved us and chose us in Christ to be holy and without fault in His eyes. (Ephesians 1:4) Don't wander through life aimlessly, being distracted and taking detours. We have been chosen and appointed for a higher purpose. God has us on earth for such a time as this, to fulfill the plans He has for these times we are living right now. Stay focused. We are called according to His purpose. Don't let distractions carry you away from the great work our heavenly Father has for you. He chose you, and put you in the world to bear fruit, fruit that won’t spoil, fruit that will last through the fire of adversity and remain forever. Be a fruit bearer.

In the day of prosperity be joyful, but in the day of adversity consider: surely God has appointed the one as well as the other, so that man can find out nothing that will come after him. — Ecclesiastes 7:14 (NKJV) Regardless of the circumstances, this is the day the LORD has made. All of our days were written in His book before one of them came to be, so let us make the most of every moment. The present is what we have been given to work with. We cannot change the past and we do not know what tomorrow will bring. Therefore, seize every opportunity to follow God's purpose and plan for your life.

So change the way you think and act, and turn to God to have your sins removed. Then times will come when the Lord will refresh you. He will send you Jesus, whom he has appointed to be the Christ. — Acts 3:19-20 (GW) If our thoughts and actions don't line up with God's ways, let us change the way we think and act. We are not to think according to the world or the way our flesh thinks. The behavior of a believer should be different also. Let us renew our minds with the Word, so we can think and act like our heavenly Father. Then we will experience times of refreshing from the Lord. Amen.

“Before I formed you in the womb, I knew you. Before you were born, I set you apart for my holy purpose.  I appointed you to be a prophet to the nations.” Jeremiah 1:5 (GW) Just like the LORD knew the prophet Jeremiah before he was born, He knew you. God saw your unformed body; all the days ordained for you were written in His book before one of them came to be (Psalm 139:16, NIV).  Every moment of your life was laid out before a single day had passed. We have been called according to His purpose. And God works in us to will and to act in order to fulfill His good purpose (Philippians 2:13, NIV). Submit to, and follow the leading of His Holy Spirit who dwells within you and He will lead you and help you fulfill God's perfect plan and purpose for you.
