Listen for God’s Voice

Image
Trust God from the bottom of your heart; don’t try to figure out everything on your own. Listen for God’s voice in everything you do, everywhere you go; he’s the one who will keep you on track. Don’t assume that you know it all. — Proverbs 3:5-7 (MSG) We are so prone to want to do things our own way, but even Jesus said, “ Truly I tell you, the Son is not able to do anything on his own, but only what he sees the Father doing. ” (John 5:19 CSB) Listen for God’s voice in all you do and let His Word speak to your heart. For His ways are higher than our ways, and His thoughts higher than our thoughts. (Isaiah 55:9) Reject any thoughts or words spoken to you that do not line up with the Word of God. The Word that goes forth from God's mouth will not return to Him void. It will accomplish what He desires. It will do the work He sent it to do. (Isaiah 55:11). Amen!

Stay on Track

A God-loyal life keeps you on track; sin dumps the wicked in the ditch. — Proverbs 13:6 (MSG)  Proverbs 13:13 (MSG) says: Ignore the Word and suffer; honor God’s commands and grow rich. To live a God-loyal life, is to honor God’s commands. The Word of God is truth, wisdom and life. When we ignore it, we suffer. Our lives are richly rewarded as we give place to the Word, in our hearts and minds. We grow rich in love, grace and mercy. When we live by the Word of God, we will thrive in all areas of life, spiritually, emotionally, physically, financially, and in our relationships. Stay on the right track by allowing the Word to be your road map, and the Holy Spirit your guide. Then you will avoid detours, ditches and dead-end roads.

Seek his will in all you do, and he will show you which path to take. (Proverbs 3:6  NLT) Trust in the Lord completely, and do not rely on your own opinions. With all your heart rely on him to guide you, and he will lead you in every decision you make. (Proverbs 3:5 TPT)

Listen for His Voice

He who has ears to hear, let him hear and heed My words. — Matthew 11:15 (AMP) God has given us ears to hear and eyes to see. (Proverb 20:12) In the course of a day, we are bombarded with so many voices. In order to hear God's voice we need to turn a deaf ear to the voices of the world and tune our ears to His still small voice. The voice of the LORD is powerful; the voice of the LORD is full of majesty. (Psalm 29:4) Let the voice of the LORD override all the other voices you allow to fill your head. Listen for God’s voice in everything you do, everywhere you go; he’s the one who will keep you on track. (Proverbs 3:6 MSG) … for he is our God. We are the people he watches over, the flock under his care. If only you would listen to his voice today! (Psalm 95:7 NLT)

Listen for God’s voice in everything you do, everywhere you go; he’s the one who will keep you on track. — Proverbs 3:5-6 (MSG) Always listen for God’s voice. His voice is more powerful than any other voice. His voice carries more weight than what the doctor says. What God says about you is more significant than the negative words people say about you. You rightly instruct us in how to live ever faithful to you. — Psalm 119:137-138 (MSG) Let the peace of Christ [the inner calm of one who walks daily with Him] be the controlling factor in your hearts [deciding and settling questions that arise]. To this peace indeed you were called as members in one body [of believers]. And be thankful [to God always]. (Colossians 3:15 AMP) When we are led by the Spirit of God who dwells within us, we will have the peace of God and we will hit the mark every time. Trust God from the bottom of your heart; don’t try to figure out everything on your own. Listen for God’s voice in everything you do, everywhere you go; he’s the one who will keep you on track. “Therefore, in the present case I advise you: Leave these men alone! Let them go! For if their purpose or activity is of human origin, it will fail. But if it is from God, you will not be able to stop these men; you will only find yourselves fighting against God.” — Acts 5:38-39 (NIV) When we run off and do our own thing, we run the risk of working against our heavenly Father. Trust God from the bottom of your heart; don’t try to figure out everything on your own. Listen for God’s voice in everything you do, everywhere you go; he’s the one who will keep you on track (Proverbs 3:5-6 MSG).
