(Ecclesiastes 7:20 NLT) “But I did find this: God created people to be virtuous, but they have each turned to follow their own downward path.” (Ecclesiastes 7:29) “God overlooked people’s ignorance about these things in earlier times, but now he commands everyone everywhere to repent of their sins and turn to him. And this is true for everyone who believes, no matter who we are. For everyone has sinned; we all fall short of God’s glorious standard. Yet God, in his grace, freely makes us right in his sight. When His Word fills our heart we will love the Lord our God with all our heart, all our soul, and all our mind. And we will love our neighbors as we love ourselves. (Matthew 22:37-39) When His Word fills our heart, grace and mercy will flow out of it. We will walk in humility and be kind to one another. As we open our heart to God, His love and compassion will fill it and that is what will come out of it, as we deal with the issues of life. When we allow God to sit on the throne of our heart, He directs our steps, and shows us the path of life. Keep vigilant watch over your heart. Everything is a matter of the heart.
