Be Sure & Fearless

Image
God is our shelter and our strength. When troubles seem near, God is nearer, and He’s ready to help. So why run and hide? No fear, no pacing, no biting fingernails. When the earth spins out of control, we are sure and fearless. When mountains crumble and the waters run wild, we are sure and fearless. — Psalms 46:1-2 (VOICE) When your world spins out of control, instead of being nervous and anxious you can be sure and fearless, standing strong in faith. The world may be in a state of chaos, but our great God, does not change. He is a very present help in times of trouble. He is the Most High, over heaven and earth, higher than any hurdle, bigger than any mountain. “Be strong and courageous, do not be afraid or tremble in dread before them, for it is the LORD your God who goes with you. He will not fail you or abandon you.” (Deuteronomy 31:6 AMP) No matter what happens, you still belong to Him; He holds your right hand. He guides you with His counsel, leading you to a glorious destiny....

More Than Conquerors

O give us help against the adversary, for deliverance by man is in vain. Through God we shall do valiantly, and it is He who will tread down our adversaries. — Psalms 60:1-2 (NASB1995) Here on earth we will have many trials, temptations and sorrows. Yet even in the midst of all these things, we triumph over them all, for God has made us to be more than conquerors, and his demonstrated love is our glorious victory over everything! (Romans 8:37 TPT) Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but the LORD delivers him out of them all. (Psalm 34:19 NASB1995) God arms us with strength for the battle and subdues our enemies under our feet. (See Psalms 18:39 NLT) And with each and every temptation He also makes a way of escape, that we may be able overcome it. (See 1 Corinthians 10:13) Let us thank God for giving us the victory as conquerors through our Lord Jesus, the Anointed One. (See 1 Corinthians 15:57 TPT) He not only gives us victory over our enemies, but over sin and death as well.

Dine with The King

Image
“Don’t be afraid!” David said. “I intend to show kindness to you because of my promise to your father, Jonathan. I will give you all the property that once belonged to your grandfather Saul, and you will eat here with me at the king’s table!” — 2 Samuel 9:7 (NLT) King David had Mephibosheth, Saul’s grandson, brought from Lo-debar. And Mephibosheth, who was crippled in both feet, lived in Jerusalem and ate regularly at the king’s table. (2 Samuel 9:13 NLT) Our heavenly Father sent His Son, to bring us out of the low valleys, deep pits, and dark places. Immanuel has drawn us, with lovingkindness, into His marvelous light. He summons us to come close to Him. In Revelation 3:20, He invites us to dine with Him daily.  He says: “Behold, I stand at the door and knock; if anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and will dine with him, and he with Me.” Abba Father prepares a table before you in the presence of your enemies. He anoints and refreshes your head with oi...

Brought Near

Image
But now you have been united with Christ Jesus. Once you were far away from God, but now you have been brought near to him through the blood of Christ. — Ephesians 2:13 (NLT) Once we were dead because of our disobedience and our many sins. We lived in this world without God and without hope. (See Ephesians 2:1,12 NLT) But God is so rich in mercy, and he loved us so much, that even though we were dead because of our sins, he gave us life when he raised Christ from the dead. (It is only by God’s grace that you have been saved!) (Ephesians 2:4-5 NLT) Our Heavenly Father gave us life and brought us near to Him. Therefore, let us approach the throne of our gracious God so that we may receive mercy for our failures and find His amazing grace to help us when we need it most. (See Hebrews 4:16) He is our only hope.

Unshakable

This means that all of creation will be shaken and removed, so that only unshakable things will remain. Since we are receiving a Kingdom that is unshakable, let us be thankful and please God by worshiping him with holy fear and awe. For our God is a devouring fire. — Hebrews 12:27-29 (NLT) Don’t be shaken by the circumstances of this world. The kingdom of God is continual righteousness, peace and joy in the Holy Spirit. (See Romans 14:17) Do you see what we’ve got? An unshakable kingdom! And do you see how thankful we must be? Not only thankful, but brimming with worship, deeply reverent before God. For God is not an indifferent bystander. He’s actively cleaning house, torching all that needs to burn, and he won’t quit until it’s all cleansed. God himself is Fire! (Hebrews 12:28-29 MSG) Let us lay down our lives in absolute surrender, and be consumed with awe as we worship Yahweh, our strong and sure refuge.
