Then he said, “Don’t be afraid, Daniel. Since the first day you began to pray for understanding and to humble yourself before your God, your request has been heard in heaven. I have come in answer to your prayer. — Daniel 10:12 (NLT) May we humble ourselves before Yahweh in prayer, and know that His ears are open to the cry of His people. In Matthew 26:41 (AMP), Jesus instructed His disciples: “Keep actively watching and praying that you may not come into temptation; the spirit is willing, but the body is weak.” James 5:16 (AMP) says: confess your sins to one another [your false steps, your offenses], and pray for one another, that you may be healed and restored. The heartfelt and persistent prayer of a righteous man (believer) can accomplish much [when put into action and made effective by God—it is dynamic and can have tremendous power]. Always pray and do not lose heart. (See Luke 18:1) Before calling on God in prayer, we first need to humble ourselves, as 2 Chronicles 7:14 points ...

So the children of Israel said to Samuel, “Do not cease to cry out to the LORD our God for us, that He may save us from the hand of the Philistines.” — 1 Samuel 7:8 (NKJV) In 1 Samuel 7:9, Samuel gave the LORD a burnt offering and cried out to Him for Israel, and the LORD answered him. So the Philistines were subdued, and they did not come anymore into the territory of Israel (1 Samuel 7:13a NKJV). Don’t ever stop calling upon the LORD. When we call upon Him, He will answer. (Jeremiah 33:3) First Thessalonians 5:17 (AMP) tells us to be unceasing and persistent in prayer. Let's not just pray for ourselves and the challenges we face, but also for our families, friends, co-workers, neighbors, nation and the world. The earnest prayer of a righteous person has great power and produces wonderful results. (James 5:16 NLT). But when you ask him, be sure that your faith is in God alone. Do not waver, for a person with divided loyalty is as unsettled as a wave of the sea that is blown...

But as for me, I will look expectantly for the LORD and with confidence in Him I will keep watch; I will wait [with confident expectation] for the God of my salvation. My God will hear me. — Micah 7:7 (AMP) Out of my distress I called on the LORD; The LORD answered me and set me free (Psalm 118:5 AMP). When we reach out to God, He responds. When we call upon Him, He hears and answers. Don’t pray half-heartedly just to be going through the motions. When you pray expect great things of our great big God. The earnest prayer of a righteous person has great power and produces wonderful results. (James 5:16 NLT). ’Call to me and I will answer you. I’ll tell you marvelous and wondrous things that you could never figure out on your own.’ (Jeremiah 33:3 MSG)

God will always give what is right to his people who cry to him night and day, and he will not be slow to answer them. I tell you, God will help his people quickly. But when the Son of Man comes again, will he find those on earth who believe in him?” — Luke 18:7-8 (NCV) In Luke 18:1-6, Jesus told the disciples a parable about an unjust judge, to make the point that at all times we ought to pray and not give up and lose heart. God brought us through our past, He is in our present and He knows our future, so He always orchestrates events with such perfect timing. (Sometimes not as speedily as we would like.) I encourage you to keep praying! Confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed. Those things that we have been praying for awhile, were heard the first day we prayed them. Let us praise God for the answer while we patiently wait for it to manifest in our lives. Continue earnestly in prayer, being vigilant in it with thanksgiving; — Colossians 4:2 (NKJV) In Jeremiah 33:3, the LORD promises that when we call to Him, He will answer and show us great and mighty things, which we do not know. Let us continue earnestly in prayer and remember to thank God for the answer. James 1:16b (NLT) says, the earnest prayer of a righteous person has great power and produces wonderful results. The Amplified version says: the earnest (heartfelt, continued) prayer of a righteous man makes tremendous power available [dynamic in its working].
