Manna for Your Morning

How precious is Your lovingkindness, O God! And the children of men take refuge in the shadow of Your wings. (Psalm 63:7 NLT) You’ve always given me breathing room, a place to get away from it all, a lifetime pass to your safe-house, an open invitation as your guest. You may be perplexed but don’t be driven to despair. You may be persecuted but you are never abandoned by God. He will never, neglect those who come to Him for help. The LORD also will be a refuge for the oppressed, a refuge in times of trouble. And those who know Your name will put their trust in You; For You, LORD, have not forsaken those who seek You. — Psalm 9:9-10 (NKJV) Have you ever been deserted by someone you thought was a friend when you needed them the most? Well, our heavenly Father is a trustworthy refuge in times of trouble. He will never abandon you. In 2 Timothy 4:16, the Apostle Paul says, “At my first defense no one stood with me, but all forsook me.”  But he goes on to say: “But the Lord stood with me and strengthened me” (2 Timothy4:17). Know that He stands with you today.
