God proves to be good to the man who passionately waits, to the woman who diligently seeks. It’s a good thing to quietly hope, quietly hope for help from God. It’s a good thing when you’re young to stick it out through the hard times. — Lamentations 3:25-27 (MSG) Keep your hope in the LORD, and you will not be disappointed. We can endure the hard times because He is our help and our impenetrable shield against the fiery darts of the enemy. Why are you in despair, O my soul? And why have you become restless and disturbed within me? Hope in God and wait expectantly for Him, for I shall again praise Him For the help of His presence. (Psalm 42:5 AMP)

God’s loyal love couldn’t have run out, his merciful love couldn’t have dried up.  They’re created new every morning. How great your faithfulness! I’m sticking with God (I say it over and over). He’s all I’ve got left. — Lamentations 3:22-24 (MSG) God proves to be good to the man who passionately waits, to the woman who diligently seeks. It’s a good thing to quietly hope, quietly hope for help from God. It’s a good thing when you’re young to stick it out through the hard times. (Lamentations 3:25-27 MSG) Open your mouth and taste, open your eyes and see— how good God is. Blessed are you who run to him. — Psalm 34:8 (MSG)

Do not slack in your faithfulness and hard work. Let your spirit be on fire, bubbling up and boiling over, as you serve the Lord. Do not forget to rejoice, for hope is always just around the corner. Hold up through the hard times that are coming, and devote yourselves to prayer.  — Romans 12:11-12 (VOICE) Revelation 3:15-16 (NLT) says, “I know all the things you do, that you are neither hot nor cold. I wish that you were one or the other! But since you are like lukewarm water, neither hot nor cold, I will spit you out of my mouth!” May we be hot with passion for God and His Kingdom. Don’t burn out; keep yourselves fueled and aflame. Be alert servants of the Master, cheerfully expectant. Don’t quit in hard times; pray all the harder . — Romans 12:11-12 (MSG)

So we’re not giving up. How could we! Even though on the outside it often looks like things are falling apart on us, on the inside, where God is making new life, not a day goes by without his unfolding grace. These hard times are small potatoes compared to the coming good times, the lavish celebration prepared for us. — 2 Corinthians 4:16-17 (MSG) Even when it seems things are falling apart, we can count on His amazing grace. We have forgiveness for our failures. And He gives us strength to persevere through the hard times. Seek his will in all you do, and he will show you which path to take. (Proverbs 3:6 NLT) Keep your eyes straight ahead; ignore all sideshow distractions. Watch your step, and the road will stretch out smooth before you. (Proverbs 4:25-26 MSG) Keep moving onward and forward, in spite of the challenges. We are more than conquerors!

If God didn’t hesitate to put everything on the line for us, embracing our condition and exposing himself to the worst by sending his own Son, is there anything else he wouldn’t gladly and freely do for us?   The One who died for us—who was raised to life for us!—is in the presence of God at this very moment sticking up for us. — Romans 8:32, 34 (MSG) What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us? (Romans 8:31 NKJV) Don't let the enemy bully you. The things we see now are here today, gone tomorrow. But the things we can’t see now will last forever. — 2 Corinthians 4:17-18 (MSG) Do not lose heart and become discouraged. The difficult circumstances you are dealing with today are temporary, and they are producing for you a glory that vastly outweighs them and will last forever! His unfolding grace is sufficient for you. He has provided everything you need to overcome today's challenges.

You can be sure that God will take care of everything you need, his generosity exceeding even yours in the glory that pours from Jesus. Our God and Father abounds in glory that just pours out into eternity. Yes. — Philippians 4:19-20 (MSG) Our Father knows the things you have need of before you even ask Him. (Matthew 6:8) You can be sure that God will take care of everything you need. He is a faithful, generous and loving God. And nothing can separate us from His love. I’m absolutely convinced that nothing—nothing living or dead, angelic or demonic, today or tomorrow, high or low, thinkable or unthinkable—absolutely nothing can get between us and God’s love because of the way that Jesus our Master has embraced us. (Romans 8:37-39 MSG)

He is able to do far more abundantly beyond all that we ask or think, according to the power that works within us, (Ephesians 3:20 NASB). Be on fire for Jesus and keep your hope in Him alive. Those who seek the LORD shall not lack any good thing. (Psalm 34:10b NKJV)

And make sure you avoid taking any of the devil’s detours. Instead, draw closer to God, knowing that no trial, tribulation or trouble can separate you from the love of Christ. None of this fazes us because Jesus loves us. I’m absolutely convinced that nothing—nothing living or dead, angelic or demonic, today or tomorrow, high or low, thinkable or unthinkable—absolutely nothing can get between us and God’s love because of the way that Jesus our Master has embraced us. (Romans 8:37-39 MSG)

Don’t quit in hard times; pray all the harder. — Romans 12:11-12 (MSG) The best way to stay full of His Spirit and on fire for the LORD, is to keep a constant connection with Him throughout your day, through prayer, praising and the giving of thanks. Let the difficulties and challenges draw you closer to Him. Look to our great God in cheerful expectation of the deliverance He will bring about in your life. The effective, fervent prayer of a righteous person is powerful and produces wonderful results. Be persistent and devoted to prayer, being alert and focused in your prayer life with an attitude of thanksgiving. (Colossians 4:2 AMP)

Companions as we are in this work with you, we beg you, please don’t squander one bit of this marvelous life God has given us. God reminds us, I heard your call in the nick of time; the day you needed me, I was there to help. — 2 Corinthians 6:1-2 (MSG) Well, now is the right time to listen, the day to be helped. Don’t put it off; don’t frustrate God’s work by showing up late, throwing a question mark over everything we’re doing. Our work as God’s servants gets validated—or not—in the details. People are watching us as we stay at our post, alertly, unswervingly . . . in hard times, tough times, bad times; when we’re beaten up, jailed, and mobbed; working hard, working late, working without eating; with pure heart, clear head, steady hand; in gentleness, holiness, and honest love; when we’re telling the truth, and when God’s showing his power; when we’re doing our best setting things right; when we’re praised, and when we’re blamed; slandered, and honored; true to our word, though ...

Don’t quit in hard times; pray all the harder. — Romans 12:11-12 (MSG) Just as our vehicles need gas or electric power to keep running, we need to keep ourselves fueled by the power of God’s Holy Spirit who dwells inside of us. When we rely on His Presence in us, we are able to draw from the vast resources He has made available to help us in our time of need. Continually seek His wisdom, guidance, and strength. Let us be cheerful as we look to our heavenly Father with expectancy and hearts aflame with hope.

So, what do you think? With God on our side like this, how can we lose? (Romans 8:31MSG). None of this fazes us because Jesus loves us. I’m absolutely convinced that nothing—nothing living or dead, angelic or demonic, today or tomorrow, high or low, thinkable or unthinkable—absolutely nothing can get between us and God’s love because of the way that Jesus our Master has embraced us (Romans 8:38-39 MSG). May we also embrace others with His magnificent, amazing love.

Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves receive from God.  — 2 Corinthians 1:3-4 (NIV) Our heavenly Father is full of compassion and the source of all comfort. We can know that we know, our God is faithful. He is no respecter of persons and He does not change. What He does for one, He will do for all. If we fall, our merciful Father is there to catch us in His arms. In all of our troubles He is there to comfort us. He is the excellent role model for us. As He is compassionate and comforts us, likewise we can be there for others when they are troubled, and going through hard times.

Don’t quit in hard times; pray all the harder. — Romans 12:11-12 (MSG) As we continue to renew our minds with God’s Word and pray fervently, we will be alert, fueled and aflame for the LORD. Instead of listening to the voices telling you to give up, pray all the harder, when you encounter difficult times. Then you can be cheerfully expectant, as you trust in and look to our heavenly Father to victoriously bring you through.

For the LORD saw that the affliction of Israel was very bitter; and whether bond or free, there was no helper for Israel. — 2 Kings 14:26 (NKJV) The Message Bible says, God was fully aware of the trouble in Israel, its bitterly hard times (2 Kings 14:26). God is also fully aware of the troubles and bitter affliction that you experience. Our heavenly Father has kept His eyes on you since you were being formed in your mother’s womb. And He wants you to know that our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory that far outweighs them all. So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen, since what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal (2 Corinthians 4:17-18 NIV). As the eyes of the LORD are on you, fix your eyes on Jesus, because despite all these things we go through in this life, overwhelming victory is ours through Christ, who loved us (Romans 8:37) enough to suffer and die for us.

And so, after he had patiently endured, he obtained the promise. — Hebrews 6:15 (NKJV) Whether in a line at the grocery store or sitting in traffic on the freeway, most of us do not like waiting. Abraham waited patiently, and he received what God had promised. During his time of waiting, he had to endure some things. May we also learn the art of patient endurance. Let us be patient in trouble, and keep on praying (Romans 12:12). The Message version says, don’t quit in hard times; pray all the harder. Do what God instructs you to do and leave the rest to Him. He will bring it pass at the perfect time, its appointed time.
