Give

Now I am giving him to the LORD, and he will belong to the LORD his whole life.” And they worshiped the LORD there. — 1 Samuel 1:28 (NLT) Hannah cried out to God for the desire of her heart, He heard her cries and gave her a son. When Hannah received the one thing she wanted most, she gave him back to the LORD. And the LORD blessed Hannah, and she conceived and gave birth to three sons and two daughters. Meanwhile, Samuel grew up in the presence of the LORD. (1 Samuel 2:21 NLT). May we live with our hearts and hands open to our heavenly Father. When we let go of what we have, God can use it for others and multiply it back to us. We can never out give God! It is more blessed to give than to receive.

Wait

And she was in bitterness of soul, and prayed to the LORD and wept in anguish. — 1 Samuel 1:10 (NKJV) Hannah was sorrowful because she was not able to bear children. In her great distress, she poured out her soul before the LORD (1 Samuel 1:15). When we are in distress it’s best to go to the LORD, and cast our cares upon Him. First Samuel 1:19 says the LORD remembered her. So it came to pass in the process of time that Hannah conceived and bore a son, and called his name Samuel, saying, “Because I have asked for him from the LORD.” (1 Samuel 1:20) Whatever you have asked of the LORD, whatever you have poured your soul out to Him about, know that He has not forgotten you. In the the process of time, the desires of your heart will come forth. Wait on the LORD; Be of good courage, and He shall strengthen your heart; Wait, I say, on the LORD! (Psalm 27:14) I wait for the LORD, my soul waits, and in His word I do hope. (Psalm 130:5)

Miracles Still Happen!

Now indeed, Elizabeth your relative has also conceived a son in her old age; and this is now the sixth month for her who was called barren.  — Luke 1:36 (NKJV) What area of your life has the enemy called barren? Don’t listen to the lies of the enemy. Our God is a turn around God; He turns situations, circumstances and conditions around. Where there is darkness, He brings light. Where there is sickness and disease, the Sun of Righteousness arises with healing in His wings (Malachi 4:2). Where there is death, He brings resurrection power. Your story is not over yet. Keep believing God for your miracle! For with God nothing is ever impossible and no word from God shall be without power or impossible of fulfillment (Luke 1:37, AMP).

Created with a Purpose!

And when eight days were completed for the circumcision of the Child, His name was called Jesus, the name given by the angel before He was conceived in the womb. — Luke 2:21 (NKJV) Before you were conceived in the womb of your mother, God knew you, by name. His eyes saw your unformed body (Psalm 139:16a, NIV). Our heavenly Father created you in His image, with a plan and a purpose for your life. All the days ordained for you were written in His book before one of them came to be (Psalm 139:16b, NIV). Listen to the desires and dreams delivered to your heart by God, and fulfill your God-given destiny. Live in the full potential of all God created you to be! Mount up with wings like an eagle and soar toward your calling. As you keep your eyes on the Master, He will show you the way. But those who wait on the Lord Shall renew their strength; They shall mount up with wings like eagles, They shall run and not be weary, They shall walk and not faint. —I saiah 40:31 (NKJV)
