Manna for Your Morning

The night is almost gone, and the day is near. Therefore let us lay aside the deeds of darkness and put on the armor of light.  Let us behave properly as in the day, not in carousing and drunkenness, not in sexual promiscuity and sensuality, not in strife and jealousy. Now you have every spiritual gift you need as you eagerly wait for the return of our Lord Jesus Christ. He will keep you strong to the end so that you will be free from all blame on the day when our Lord Jesus Christ returns. God will do this, for he is faithful to do what he says, and he has invited you into partnership with his Son, Jesus Christ our Lord. — 1 Corinthians 1:7-9 (NLT) Psalms 92:1-2 (NKJV) says: It is good to give thanks to the LORD, and to sing praises to Your name, O Most High; To declare Your lovingkindness in the morning, and Your faithfulness every night. His faithfulness endures to all generations; (See Psalms 119:90 NKJV) So, we can have unwavering trust and rely on Yahweh with great confidence. Faithful and absolutely trustworthy is He who is calling you [to Himself for your salvation], and He will do it [He will fulfill His call by making you holy, guarding you, watching over you, and protecting you as His own]. always giving thanks to God the Father for all things, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ; — Ephesians 5:20 (AMP) Regardless of our circumstances, let us always be giving thanks to Yahweh, our Provider. We may be pressured on every side by troubles, but we are not crushed. We are bewildered at times, but we do not give in to despair. We may be persecuted, but never abandoned by God. We may get knocked down, but we are not destroyed. (See 2 Corinthians 4:8-9) Amen! Whatever your current state of affairs may be, keep your eyes on Yeshua, and stay connected to Him. Our union with Him is vital. Apart from Him we can do nothing. (See John 15:5 AMP) Do not be anxious or worried about anything, but in everything [every circumstance and situation] by prayer and petition with thanksgiving , continue to make your [specific] requests known to God. — Philippians 4:6 (AMP)

Jesus said to her, “I am the Resurrection and the Life. Whoever believes in (adheres to, trusts in, relies on) Me [as Savior] will live even if he dies;”  — John 11:25 (AMP) Believe, trust in and rely on the Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world! However, let us also choose to spiritually clothe ourselves with the presence of the Lord. The Passion Translation says to fully immerse yourselves into the Lord Jesus, the Anointed One… (Romans 13:14a) In other words, think His thoughts, speak His Word and do things His way. Instead of putting on the ways of this world or following the desires of our flesh, may we reflect the character and nature of our loving heavenly Father. Since God chose you to be the holy people he loves, you must clothe yourselves with tenderhearted mercy, kindness, humility, gentleness, and patience.   — Colossians 3:12 (NLT)

Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ, — Ephesians 1:3 (NASB) Our heavenly Father is continually pouring out His goodness and favor upon His people. In order to have a cup that is overflowing we must be vessels that are open to receive His Presence, His blessings, and His favor. If our cup (our heart) is full of pride, unforgiveness, etc. than we have no room to be filled with His Holy Spirit and all the blessings contained in His Presence. Fix your hope on God, the One who richly provides everything for our enjoyment. (1 Timothy 6:17b VOICE) Thirst for more of Him. You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies; You have anointed my head with oil; My cup overflows. Surely goodness and lovingkindness will follow me all the days of my life, and I will dwell in the house of the LORD forever. — Psalm 23:5-6 (NASB)

For this reason we labor and strive, because we have put our hope in the living God, who is the Savior of all people, especially of those who believe. — 1 Timothy 4:10 (CSB) Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ. Because of his great mercy he has given us new birth into a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead (1 Peter 1:3 CSB). At one time we lived in this world without God and without hope, but we have been born again. Now we can live with confidence and great expectation. God is not dead and He does not slumber. Don’t believe the lies of the enemy. Our heavenly Father has not forgotten about you. Keep your hope in Him alive and active. His Presence is with you. Always live in hopeful anticipation that God will fulfill every promise He has made. As a child of God you have a bright future, and your hopes will not be cut short.

Don’t be drunk with wine, because that will ruin your life. Instead, be filled with the Holy Spirit, singing psalms and hymns and spiritual songs among yourselves, and making music to the Lord in your hearts. And give thanks for everything to God the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ. — Ephesians 5:18-20 (NLT) Today, I’m thankful God woke me up to see another beautiful day of life on this earth. I’m thankful for a sound mind and a healthy body. I thank God for the roof over my head and the food in the cupboard. I thank God for my family and our friends. I’m thankful for the job, I get to go to today. I thank God for bringing you into my life. ‘May the LORD bless you and protect you. May the LORD smile on you and be gracious to you. (Psalm 136:4 TPT) Give thanks to Him who made the heavens with skill, and spread out the earth above the waters… (Psalm 136:5a & 6a) He rescues us from our adversaries and gives food to all flesh, for His lovingkindness is everlasting. All praise to God, the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ. God is our merciful Father and the source of all comfort. He comforts us in all our troubles so that we can comfort others. When they are troubled, we will be able to give them the same comfort God has given us. — 2 Corinthians 1:3-4 (NLT) Our heavenly Father is not only the source of our comfort. He is our Source. In Psalm 78:38 (AMP), He is the source of compassion and lovingkindness. He is the source of our peace and joy. Psalm 43:4 (NLT) says: “ There I will go to the altar of God, to God—the source of all my joy. I will praise you with my harp, O God, my God!”  He is also the source of our healing and wholeness. Malachi 4:2 says: “ The Sun of Righteousness shall arise with healing in His wings .” When you are experiencing troubles of any kind, run to your Source. He has an unlimited supply of all that you need.

Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but the LORD delivers him out of them all. — Psalm 34:19 (NASB) We may face many hardships and difficult circumstances, but we are not defeated. Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us. (Romans 8:37 NKJV). Thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ. (1 Corinthians 15:57 NASB) With all this going for us, my dear, dear friends, stand your ground. And don’t hold back. Throw yourselves into the work of the Master, confident that nothing you do for him is a waste of time or effort. (1 Corinthians 15:58 MSG) God will cause you to be fruitful in the land of your affliction.

I keep asking that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the glorious Father, may give you the Spirit of wisdom and revelation, so that you may know him better. — Ephesians 1:17 (NIV) The most meaningful quest we can embark upon as we journey through this life is to know God better. Not just a knowing in our head, but in our hearts. As we grow deeper and more intimate in our relationship with our heavenly Father, we develop a rock solid trust in Him. We learn to trust Him not only for our salvation, but with every area of our lives. As we grow in our knowledge of Him, we begin to comprehend the width, length, depth and height of this amazing love that the Father lavishes on us. A love that never quits. A love that never gives up on us, no matter how many time we mess up. As we daily walk with Him, we personally experience that great love in the very fibers of our being. His wonderful love, reveals His mercy, grace, compassion, and kindness. It's the power of His mighty love that ...

When they are troubled, we will be able to give them the same comfort God has given us. — 2 Corinthians 1:3-4 (NLT) God is the Father of compassion. He comforts us in all our trials and tribulation. He encourages those who are discouraged and lifts up those with heavy hearts. Psalm 94:19 (NLT) says, when doubts filled my mind, your comfort gave me renewed hope and cheer. When you face troubles of any kind and anxious thoughts multiply, let our heavenly Father be your comforter. Now may the God of patience and comfort grant you to be like-minded toward one another... Romans 15:5 (NKJV)

For we did not follow cleverly devised stories when we told you about the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ in power, but we were eyewitnesses of his majesty. — 2 Peter 1:16 (NIV) Jesus the Christ. He is more than a Christmas story. He is the blessed and only Sovereign Ruler, the King of kings and Lord of lords, who alone has immortality, (1 Timothy 6:15-16). And His name will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father and Prince of Peace (Isaiah 9:6). He received honor and glory from God the Father when the voice came to him from the Majestic Glory, saying, “This is my Son, whom I love; with him I am well pleased.” (2 Peter 1:17 NIV) When John was in prison he heard about the works of Christ, and began to wonder if Jesus was the one. He sent two of his disciples to ask Jesus, “Are You the Coming One, or do we look for another?” (Matthew 11:2-3) Today, let there be no doubt, we don’t have to wonder. He is the living Word, the Son of God, Savior of the world.

Know that the LORD, He is God; It is He who has made us, and not we ourselves; We are His people and the sheep of His pasture. Enter into His gates with thanksgiving, and into His courts with praise. Be thankful to Him, and bless His name. — Psalm 100:3-4 (NKJV) Although people knew God, they did not glorify Him as God, nor were thankful, but became futile in their thoughts, and their foolish hearts were darkened. (Romans 1:21) Having unthankful hearts that could not glorify God led to hearts that were darkened. Let us give thanks always for all things to God the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ (Ephesians 5:20). Thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ. Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves receive from God. — 2 Corinthians 1:3-4 (NIV) When Jesus gave His life on the cross, to pay the debt for our sins, He restored us into fellowship with our heavenly Father. Where there was once separation, the blood of Christ brought us near to the Father of compassion. He is there to comfort us whenever we encounter troubles of any kind. He keeps track of all your sorrows. He has collected all your tears in His bottle. He has recorded each one in His book. (Psalm 56:8, NLT). When anxious thoughts multiply within you, His comforts will delight you. (Psalm 94:19). Amen.

And give thanks for everything to God the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ. — Ephesians 5:20 (NLT) I am thankful that there is one true God, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him. (Hebrews 11:6). Nothing is too difficult for Him. We can be thankful that He adopted us and brought us into His family, never to abandon us. He is with us always and forever. He completes us. His strength, fills in our weaknesses. His Presence enables us to go from poor and pitiful to powerful and prospering. His Spirit working in us, transforms us from victim to victorious overcomer. In the midst of challenges, we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us. (Romans 8:37). Praise the name of God with a song, and magnify Him with thanksgiving. (Psalm 69:30)

Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves receive from God.  — 2 Corinthians 1:3-4 (NIV) Our heavenly Father is full of compassion and the source of all comfort. We can know that we know, our God is faithful. He is no respecter of persons and He does not change. What He does for one, He will do for all. If we fall, our merciful Father is there to catch us in His arms. In all of our troubles He is there to comfort us. He is the excellent role model for us. As He is compassionate and comforts us, likewise we can be there for others when they are troubled, and going through hard times.

God is our refuge and strength, always ready to help in times of trouble. So we will not fear when earthquakes come and the mountains crumble into the sea. — Psalm 46:1-2 (NLT) No matter what earth shattering news may come, we will not fear because God is our refuge. No matter how huge the mountain that falls into our world, He remains the strength of our lives. He is ever-present and always ready to help in troubling times. He never fails to act on behalf of those who wait for him. (Isaiah 64:4). And thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ (1 Corinthians 15:57)!
