What Manner of Love!

Image
We love Him because He first loved us. — 1 John 4:19 (NKJV) Behold what manner of love the Father has bestowed on us, that we should be called children of God! (1 John 3:1a NKJV) How precious is your unfailing love, O God! All humanity finds shelter in the shadow of your wings. (Psalms 36:7 NLT) We have come to know [by personal observation and experience], and have believed [with deep, consistent faith] the love which God has for us. God is love, and the one who abides in love abides in God, and God abides continually in him. (1 John 4:16 AMP) And may you have the power to understand, as all God’s people should, how wide, how long, how high, and how deep his love is. (Ephesians 3:18 NLT) Let us be deeply rooted and securely grounded in God’s unfailing love. “God showed how much he loved us by sending his one and only Son into the world so that we might have eternal life through him. This is real love—not that we loved God, but that he loved us and sent his Son as a sacrifice to take a...

Hear my cry, O God; Attend to my prayer. From the end of the earth I will cry to You, when my heart is overwhelmed; Lead me to the rock that is higher than I. Selah  — Psalms 61:1-4 (NKJV) Be merciful to me, O God, be merciful to me! For my soul trusts in You; And in the shadow of Your wings I will make my refuge, until these calamities have passed by. (Psalms 63:3 NASB1995) The LORD will command His lovingkindness in the daytime, and in the night His song shall be with me— a prayer to the God of my life. — Psalms 42:...
