Manna for Your Morning

“This is the day which Yahweh has made; Let us rejoice and be glad in it.” — Psalms 118:24 (LSB)  Rejoice in the Lord always; again I will say, rejoice! (Philippians 4:4 NASB) For everything there is a season, a time for every activity under heaven. (Ecclesiastes 3:1 NLT) No matter what season you are going through, you can rejoice because Yahweh is with you, and He will bring you through. Every day of your life was recorded in His book. Every moment was laid out before a single day had passed. (See Psalms 139:16 NLT) So, He knows the plans He has for you. They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope. (See Jeremiah 29:11 NLT) I will be glad and rejoice in your unfailing love, for you have seen my troubles, and you care about the anguish of my soul. You have not handed me over to my enemies but have set me in a safe place. — Psalms 31:7-8 (NLT)

 A time to plant and a time to harvest. A time to kill and a time to heal.
 A time to tear down and a time to build up. A time to cry and a time to laugh.
 A time to grieve and a time to dance. A time to scatter stones and a time to gather stones.
 A time to embrace and a time to turn away. A time to search and a time to quit searching.
 A time to keep and a time to throw away. A time to tear and a time to mend.
 A time to be quiet and a time to speak. A time to love and a time to hate.

A time to embrace, and a time to refrain from embracing; A time to gain, and a time to lose;

One season may serve to prepare our hearts to receive the Word of God. While another season will allow The Word to be planted in good soil. The season has changed, the bondage of your barren winter has ended, and the season of hiding is over and gone. The rains have soaked the earth and left it bright with blossoming flowers. The season for singing and pruning the vines has arrived. I hear the cooing of doves in our land, filling the air with songs to awaken you and guide you forth. Can you not discern this new day of destiny breaking forth around you? The early signs of my purposes and plans are bursting forth. The budding vines of new life are now blooming everywhere. The fragrance of their flowers whispers, “There is change in the air.” — Song of Songs 2:11-13a (TPT) “Arise [from spiritual depression to a new life], shine [be radiant with the glory and brilliance of the LORD]; for your light has come, and the glory and brilliance of the LORD has risen upon you.” (Isaiah 60:1 AMP)

Be cheerful with joyous celebration in every season of life. Let joy overflow, for you are united with the Anointed One! Let gentleness be seen in every relationship, for our Lord is ever near. — Philippians 4:4-5 (TPT) Ecclesiastes 3:1 says: There is an appointed time for everything. And there is a time for every event under heaven— (NASB) Therefore, in every situation and season, let our hearts be full of gratitude, continually giving thanks to God. In every season, we are united with Christ. The Lord will lead us and guide us. In every season, He provides and He protects. Remember what God has done and look at what He is doing now. Our hearts will overflow with joy, as we believe God's Word and trust that He is working everything together for our good.

James 1:2 (NASB) says to consider it all joy, my brethren, when you encounter various trials. We can rejoice, too, when we run into problems and trials, for we know that they help us develop endurance. (Romans 5:3 NLT) “Don’t be dejected and sad, for the joy of the LORD is your strength!” — Nehemiah 8:10 (NLT)

Look, the winter is past, and the rains are over and gone. The flowers are springing up, the season of singing birds has come, and the cooing of turtledoves fills the air. — Song of Solomon 2:11-12 (NLT) We are pressed on every side by troubles, but we are not crushed. We are perplexed, but not driven to despair. We are hunted down, but never abandoned by God. We get knocked down, but we are not destroyed. (2 Corinthians 4:8-9 NLT) No matter what you may be going through, remember: this too shall pass. Keep pressing on with the Lord! He is faithful to fulfill all His wonderful promises. Though the cherry trees don’t blossom and the strawberries don’t ripen, though the apples are worm-eaten and the wheat fields stunted, though the sheep pens are sheepless and the cattle barns empty, I’m singing joyful praise to God. I’m turning cartwheels of joy to my Savior God. — Habakkuk 3:17-18 (MSG) Regardless of external circumstances, our inner man can always be filled with joy, knowing that God is with us and He will provide what we need to get us through each and every situation and season. I will praise the LORD at all times. I will constantly speak his praises. (Psalm 34:1 NLT) Counting on God’s Rule to prevail, I take heart and gain strength. I run like a deer. I feel like I’m king of the mountain! (Habakkuk 3:19 MSG)

Then the LORD answered me and said: “Write the vision and make it plain on tablets, that he may run who reads it. For the vision is yet for an appointed time; but at the end it will speak, and it will not lie. Though it tarries, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry.”  — Habakkuk 2:2-3 (NKJV) Even though the vision God has given you seems slow in coming, wait patiently for it, because it will surely take place at the appointed time. To everything there is a season, a time for every purpose under heaven: (Ecclesiastes 3:1). “… the just shall live by his faith. ” (Habakkuk 4 NKJV) Now faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen. For I know that my Redeemer lives, and He shall stand at last on the earth; Whom I shall see for myself, and my eyes shall behold, and not another. How my heart yearns within me! — Job 19:25, 27 (NKJV) Job was in the midst of extraordinary pain and suffering. His wife was not supportive and his friends were critical and judgemental, but he persevered and clung to his faith in God. No matter what season of life you are going through, know that your Redeemer lives. He redeems your life from destruction, and crowns you with lovingkindness and tender mercies (Psalm 103:4) You have an Advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous (1 John 2:1). He pleaded the case for your soul; He has redeemed your life. (Lamentations 3:58)

To everything there is a season, a time for every purpose under heaven: — Ecclesiastes 3:1 (NKJV) Seasons come and seasons go. Some are more challenging than others, but our heavenly Father is with us in each and every one. He comforts us and carries us through the difficult seasons. There are seeds of wisdom to be gleaned from each season, that will cause growth and fruitfulness. Each season has meaning and purpose. Take one day at a time, and keep your eyes on our Maker, He knows the plans He has for you, and they are good. This is the day the LORD has made let us rejoice in it, regardless of the season.

To everything there is a season, a time for every purpose under heaven: — Ecclesiastes 3:1 (NKJV) Just as the caterpillar eventually sheds it’s old body and transforms into a beautiful butterfly, we experience different seasons and phases of life. As we go through different seasons, God is transforming us from glory to glory, to become more like Him. If you’re in a difficult season right now, know that this too shall come to pass and a new season is on it’s way. Give thanks to the LORD, for he is good! His faithful love endures forever.  (Psalm 118:1 NLT) His love endures throughout all seasons. Amen!

You know me inside and out, you know every bone in my body; You know exactly how I was made, bit by bit, how I was sculpted from nothing into something. Like an open book, you watched me grow from conception to birth; all the stages of my life were spread out before you, t he days of my life all prepared before I’d even lived one day. — Psalm 139:15-16 (MSG) Sometimes we spend a lot of time and energy trying to figure out what?, how?, why?, or when? During these times, let us seek wisdom and guidance from the One who knows us better than we know ourselves. May we trust God through every situation, every season and all the stages of life, knowing that He has every day of our lives recorded in His book. Nothing that happens takes Him by surprise. The thoughts the LORD thinks toward you are thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope.

Now when the people saw that Moses delayed coming down from the mountain, the people gathered together to Aaron, and said to him, “Come, make us gods that shall go before us…” — Exodus 32:1 (NKJV) When Moses was delayed in coming down from the mountain, the children of Israel quickly turned away from following the LORD. (Exodus 32:8). When things don’t happen according to your timetable, remember Ecclesiastes 3:1 (NKJV): To everything there is a season, a time for every purpose under heaven. The LORD appoints a set time for events to occur and His perfect timing brings everything together in wonderful ways at just the right time. Let us wait patiently and continually look to the LORD, as our guide. Wait on the LORD, and keep His way, and He shall exalt you to inherit the land; (Psalm 37:34 NKJV)

“Worthy are You, our Lord and God, to receive the glory and the honor and the power; for You created all things, and because of Your will they exist, and were created and brought into being.” — Revelation 4:11 (AMP) We exist because it was God’s will and good pleasure. He chose us for Himself, as His own dearly loved children, before the foundation of the world. He intentionally created us with purpose and vision. It is no mistake that you are here for this time and season. We are to display His glory in our own unique way, utilizing the gifts and talents He has given to each one of us. Passionately pursue God and He will show you the way to overcome challenges and reach your destiny. May His light shine brightly through us, like stars in the sky, drawing others out of the darkness and into His marvelous light.

If you are consumed with sadness or depression during this time, this is a reminder that this too shall pass. Times and seasons come and go, but through it all, we have our great God, who never changes. One Christmas morning, 23 years ago, I found myself lying on the living room floor, in front of our Christmas tree, with tears pouring down my face, having suicidal thoughts. I was experiencing marital difficulties and I was miserable and hopeless. I could hear the enemy telling me to go in the bathroom and hang myself. He told me my life was not going to  get any better. I almost believed the lies. Fast forward to the present, I’m loving my life, walking with the Lord, standing on His Word, happily married for 18 years. On that cold Christmas morning, I never imagined the possibility for my life to be ...

Nevertheless I have this against you, that you have left your first love. — Revelation 2:4 (NKJV) Now that the search for the perfect gift is on, let us not lose sight of the One the season is all about, Jesus Christ, our Savior. Set your affections on Him. He loved us so much, He gave His life to pay our debt and reconcile us to our heavenly Father. He came that we may have life, and that we may have it more abundantly (John 10:10b NKJV). Jesus is the most perfect gift of all.

For His anger is but for a moment, His favor is for life; weeping may endure for a night, but joy comes in the morning. — Psalm 30:5 (NKJV) To everything there is a season. A time to weep, and a time to laugh; a time to mourn, and a time to dance; (Ecclesiastes 3:1, 4). However, God turns our mourning into dancing; He puts off our sackcloth and clothes us with gladness (Psalm 30:11). Despite the seasons of our lives, the LORD, our faithful and mighty God extends His favor to us for a lifetime. We may have to endure some weeping for a night, but praise God, joy comes in the morning. Glory hallelujah!

But his delight is in the law of the LORD, and in His law he meditates day and night. He shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that brings forth its fruit in its season, whose leaf also shall not wither; and whatever he does shall prosper. — Psalm 1:2-3 (NKJV) Make this season a fruitful season in your life by delighting yourself in God’s Word and being planted firmly in His house, so the seeds of His Word can continue to be watered and bring forth the desired fruit. For the word of God is alive and powerful (Hebrews 4:12 NLT). It will cut through the weeds of life and make room for you to blossom and flourish.

And the remnant who have escaped of the house of Judah shall again take root downward, and bear fruit upward. — 2 Kings 19:30 (NKJV) Let’s be among the believers who take root downward in the Lord and bear much fruit upward and outward. Colossians 2:6-7 says, as you therefore have received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk in Him, rooted and built up in Him and established in the faith… (NKJV). By this My Father is glorified, that you bear much fruit; so you will be My disciples (John 15:8 NKJV). May the roots of our inner beings be firmly and deeply planted in the Lord and always on the grow. And let us purposefully, bear an abundance of fresh fruit in every season.
