“But among you it will be different. Whoever wants to be a leader among you must be your servant, and whoever wants to be first among you must be the slave of everyone else. For even the Son of Man came not to be served but to serve others and to give his life as a ransom for many.” — Mark 10:43-45 (NLT) Yeshua told his disciples that the rulers in this world lord it over their people, and officials flaunt their authority over those under them. But, He says, it is to be different among His followers. (See Mark 10:42-43) Philippians 2:3-4 (NASB1995) says: Do nothing from selfishness or empty conceit, but with humility of mind regard one another as more important than yourselves; do not merely look out for your own personal interests, but also for the interests of others. May we continually strive to serve others. We are blessed to be a blessing to others.

No, he is being patient for your sake. He does not want anyone to be destroyed, but wants everyone to repent. (2 Peter 3:9 NLT) The Kingdom of God is available for all peoples and nations. Now repent of your sins and turn to God, so that your sins may be wiped away. Then times of refreshment will come from the presence of the Lord, and he will again send you Jesus, your appointed Messiah. For he must remain in heaven until the time for the final restoration of all things...

And without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is and that He is a rewarder of those who seek Him. — Hebrews 11:6 (NASB) In order to please God we MUST the Word says, believe that God exists AND that He rewards those who sincerely seek Him. Let us (Believers) love the LORD, with all our hearts, minds and souls and earnestly and diligently seek Him, at all times (not just on Sunday morning or when we are in trouble). “ No eye has seen, no ear has heard, and no mind has imagined what God has prepared for those who love him. ” (1 Corinthians 2:9 NLT) “ However, when the Son of Man comes, will He find faith on the earth? ” — Luke 18:8b (NASB)

“Then the King will say to those on his right, ‘Come, you who are blessed by my Father; take your inheritance, the kingdom prepared for you since the creation of the world.’ — Matthew 25:34 (NIV) “When the Son of Man comes in His glory, He will separate them one from another. He will set the sheep on His right hand, but the goats on the left. (Matthew 25:31-32)  The sheep will receive their inheritance, because Jesus says, “I was hungry and you gave Me food; I was thirsty and you gave Me drink; I was a stranger and you took Me in; I was naked and you clothed Me; I was sick and you visited Me; I was in prison and you came to Me.” (Matthew 25:35-36) And the King will answer and say to them, ‘Assuredly, I say to you, inasmuch as you did it to one of the least of these My brethren, you did it to Me.’ (Matthew 25:40) Sheep follow in the footsteps of their Shepherd. Wise people walk the road that leads upward to life, not the road that leads downward to death. — Proverbs 15:24 (GNT) In Matthew 16:13-16 (NKJV), Jesus asked His disciples, “ Who do men say that I, the Son of Man, am? ” So they said, “ Some say John the Baptist, some Elijah, and others Jeremiah or one of the prophets .” He said to them, “ But who do you say that I am? ” Simon Peter answered and said, “ You are the Christ, the Son of the living God .” If you know Jesus as the Son of the living God, and accept Him as our risen Savior, then you have chosen the path of life that leads upward. Jesus came that we may have life, and that we may have it more abundantly. (John 10:10 NKJV) Let us continually follow Jesus. He leads us in the paths of righteousness. And whoever believes in Him should not perish but have eternal life. (John 3:15)

So what makes you think God won’t step in and work justice for his chosen people, who continue to cry out for help? Won’t he stick up for them? I assure you, he will. He will not drag his feet. But how much of that kind of persistent faith will the Son of Man find on the earth when he returns?” — Luke 18:7-8 (MSG) Jesus told the disciples a parable to make the point that at all times they ought to pray and not give up and lose heart. This unjust judge did not fear God, nor care about people, but he made sure a widow got justice because she kept troubling him with continual requests. (Luke 18:1-6). As disciples of Christ, may we have persistent faith. Never lose heart or give up. Surely, God will give justice to his chosen people who cry out to him day and night. When faced with challenges, faithful men and women of God believe His Word and continually stand on it. We pray at all times. We keep showing God’s love and grace to those difficult personalities in our lives. We keep gi...

God will always give what is right to his people who cry to him night and day, and he will not be slow to answer them. I tell you, God will help his people quickly. But when the Son of Man comes again, will he find those on earth who believe in him?” — Luke 18:7-8 (NCV) In Luke 18:1-6, Jesus told the disciples a parable about an unjust judge, to make the point that at all times we ought to pray and not give up and lose heart. God brought us through our past, He is in our present and He knows our future, so He always orchestrates events with such perfect timing. (Sometimes not as speedily as we would like.) I encourage you to keep praying! Confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed. The earnest prayer of a righteous person has great power and produces wonderful results (James 5:16 NLT).

“He is not here, but is risen! Remember how He spoke to you when He was still in Galilee, saying, ‘The Son of Man must be delivered into the hands of sinful men, and be crucified, and the third day rise again.’ ” — Luke 24:6-7 (NKJV) Day One : Christ gave His life on the cross to bear the sins of many; to set the captives free from the penalty of sin and death. There was pain. There was blood shed and there was sacrifice. Day Two : There was sorrow and grief. To the disciples of Jesus, all appeared hopeless, but Jesus was taking care of business, behind the scenes. Day Three : Jesus rose from the dead. The tomb was empty. He declared victory over death, and hell. He overcame the world. My beloved friends, let us patiently endure day one and day two of any trials and tribulations that come our way. For we know that the 3rd day is coming! God will deliver us from all our troubles. Jesus has given us the victory. Now thanks be to God who always leads us in triumph in Christ, ...

The LORD helps the fallen and lifts those bent beneath their loads. — Psalm 145:14 (NLT) Do not put your trust in princes, nor in a son of man, in whom there is no help (Psalm 146:3 NKJV). How blessed is he whose help is the God of Jacob, whose hope is in the LORD his God, (Psalm 146:5 NASB). If you are bent over from the weight of the burden you are carrying on your shoulders, go to God for help. Cast all your cares and concerns upon Him for He cares for you. He is our help and our only hope!

“...the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give His life a ransom for many.” — Matthew 20:28 (NKJV) Jesus was anointed to proclaim good news to the poor. He was sent to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim freedom for the captives and release from darkness for the prisoners, (Isaiah 61:1). Our Lord and Savior gave His life to fulfill His mission. What are we willing to give to fulfill the call the Father has placed on our lives? May we model after Jesus and live a life of sacrifice, to serve those whom God has placed in our sphere of influence. We never know whose freedom is tied to our obedience, our willingness to answer the call.

“Why do you seek the living among the dead? He is not here, but is risen! Remember how He spoke to you when He was still in Galilee, saying, ‘The Son of Man must be delivered into the hands of sinful men, and be crucified, and the third day rise again.” — Luke 24:5-7 (NKJV) Jesus bore our griefs and suffering. He carried our sorrows; He was afflicted. He was wounded for our transgressions, and bruised for our iniquities; (Isaiah 53:4-5). He endured the cross and His body was laid in a tomb. But on the third day it was said of Him, “He is risen!” We have been born again into a LIVING hope. The third day brought about VICTORY over sin and death, freedom and joy. We may have to go through some stuff, but remember the 3rd day! In Christ Jesus, our Savior, we already have the victory. Amen!

So here's what I want you to do, God helping you: Take your everyday, ordinary life—your sleeping, eating, going-to-work, and walking-around life—and place it before God as an offering. Embracing what God does for you is the best thing you can do for him. — Romans 12:1 (The Message) God gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life. The Son of Man suffered many things and was rejected and killed. But on the third day He was raised to life (Luke 9:22). Let us embrace all that Jesus died to give us, FREEDOM from sin and bondage, VICTORY over death, and abundant & everlasting LIFE!

“Be alert at all times. Pray so that you have the power to escape everything that is about to happen and to stand in front of the Son of Man.” — Luke 21:36 (GW) Be alert and of sober mind. Our enemy the devil prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour (1 Peter 5:8). Pray so that you may have power and strength to escape all the enemy brings your way. And you shall stand in victory!

“When the end comes, the kingdom of heaven will be like ten bridesmaids. They took their oil lamps and went to meet the groom. Five of them were foolish, and five were wise.” — Matthew 25:1-2 (GW) The five foolish bridesmaids didn’t take enough olive oil for their lamps, but the other five were wise enough to take along extra oil. When the bridegroom was delayed, their lamps started going out. While the foolish bridesmaids were buying more oil, the groom arrived. The wise bridesmaids who were ready went with him into the wedding hall, and the door was shut. Let us be like the wise bridesmaids and be prepared to keep our lamps and hearts burning for the Lord! And stay alert because we don't know the day or the hour the Son of Man will come (Matthew 25:13).
